Yeah, that whole water into wine thing always amused me. Why wouldn't he turn water into something the locals couldn't ever hope to get without Gods help. I mean he's God right, he could have turned water into 12 year old scotch, ultra-premium daiginjo sake or the finest blue agave tequila. Instead he turns it into the common dinner drink of everyone in the region. I would be seriously impressed of the bible referenced ultra-premium daiginjo sake.

The way God kills isn't the thing that we do by killing. We go out and actually do something to somebody to cause him to die. God does it differently. Here's how He does it.

We are all held alive by God. Those who reject Him are essentially pushing life away from themselves. God fights against us by keeping us alive even though we attempt to push Him - life - away from ourselves. After a time He gets tired of fighting with us and lets us go.

I killed god when I was 12 and realized he didn't exist.  All I had to do was run away from home Sunday mornings for a few months and when the brainwashed ebbed away I was able to see it was just BS they repeated to me over and over again each week.  (P.S.  I always came home in the afternoon!)

BADecker's imaginary god has no power over me.  He can have his fun now, for we all rot together in the ground later, no matter what we believe.  

I urge BADecker, if he is still able to understand common sense, to try stepping away from the constant brainwashing he subjects himself to every week.  He'll be amazed at the real world if he just takes his head out of the sand.

No, you didn't kill God. You only weakened a portion of yourself that lets you recognize God. That part of you is still there. You can revitalize it if you desire. But if you don't turn back by the time you die in this earthly life, you will wind up dying in the eternity of the hereafter. And that won't be fun.

I have noticed, however, that man is eager to destroy/kill those that are against religion.

People who destroy other people in the name of religion, if they don't have God's direct command to do so (which they don't in this modern day and age), they are doing wrong.

At times Islam uses the threat of death to force someone into their religion. This is absolutely the wrong way to do things. An infinitely better way is to invite, showing the advantages of joining, and the disadvantages for not joining, and then letting the person make up his own mind.

God reads the hearts of all people. They are easier for Him to read that an open book. The wickedness of the people revolved not only around their denial of God, but it included all the different ways that people can harm each other. In fact, because the earth was much newer than it is now, the people (who often lived hundreds of years) could think a lot better than we can think now. They probably developed methods for doing wickedness that we can't even imagine.

God made people. He doesn't want them to be destroyed. But, since He is a giving God (look at all the good things He gives to people), finally He will give wicked people what they ask for... the results of their wickedness... destruction.

Regarding what is going on today, Jesus mentioned a list of things that would happen at the time in which He returned. One of the things He said was:

As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. An analysis of the content of the Bible indicates that the source has been corrupted. I agree with this quote:

No, proof is not "in the eye of the beholder."

Proof is proof.  If I believe that some evidence constitutes proof for something but you don't believe the same, then neither one of us can be certain if proof is "in the eye of the beholder."

Fortunately, proof is not "in the eye of the beholder."  Our opinion is irrelevant.  All we need to do is look to the logical rules of sound inference to determine whether the evidence actually constitutes proof.  Specifically, we look to these rules and ask the question, "Is it logical that our conclusion necessarily follows from the evidence?"

The answer is either that it does or doesn't.  There is no middle ground.  The evidence you keep referencing is not proof for God, and that won't change no matter how hard you try to convince yourselef.

Why would your evil god do that to me?  Why not just reset my brain, like he will do in heaven?

As BADecker always does, he ignores the part of the bible that writes that no matter what I do in life, I will go to heaven if I accept jesus as my savior.  So I can act like trash - I can rape, steal, covert others to another religion, as long as seconds before my death I sincerely accept jesus.

Then I'm in heaven, equal in status to BADecker, who has spent his entire life promoting his god, sitting in the trash of earth.  We're equal in the eyes of his god and have the same privileges and same eternity of worshiping a vain god.

Now let's say I love this girl, and heaven for me is that we're together.  She hates me, and heaven for her is that we're apart.  What's the solution?  Do we live in separate heavens, or does god reset our brains so we forget that the person with wings beside us murdered our parents?

See, the problem is when you make up fairy tales, there are always so many holes in your stories.  Evolution has no holes - only things we haven't discovered yet.
