God is putting up with your kind of behavior regarding Him and religion, because it is His way of trying to mend you, a broken tool. If you won't let Him fix you, He doesn't really have any use for you. Into the trash of Hell you go.
Why would your evil god do that to me? Why not just
reset my brain, like he will do in heaven?
God has imbedded inside you and all people certain aspects of "Godness." In addition, He has imbedded us all within the universe in such a way that we are spiritually attached to it as well as physically. He did this so that we could be partners with Him in mastering everything in life. Things are not quite as simple as a brain reset.
Now, since people have rejected God and the Godness in themselves, God has given us a second chance in Jesus. It wasn't easy (how does God "coerce" Godness?). But He did it for us, because He loves us. However, if we continue to use our Godness to deny Him (thereby denying ourselves as well), what else can He do? We have the Godness to do the thing we are doing. He isn't going to join us and let Himself be destroyed along with us.
Because of this, God is not evil. He is good beyond all goodness.
As BADecker always does, he ignores the part of the bible that writes that no matter what I do in life, I will go to heaven if I accept jesus as my savior. So I can act like trash - I can rape, steal, covert others to another religion, as long as seconds before my death I sincerely accept jesus.
Ignore? The salvation of Jesus is the only thing that is keeping people alive in this life. It is faith in Jesus salvation that will keep us alive, individually, forever.
Because of this, it is not the doings themselves, no matter how vile that they might be, that destroys anyone... not directly, that is. No, the evil and wickedness that people do destroys their faith in Jesus salvation.
This life is relatively short. When it is done, it is absolutely done. The only way into life in the hereafter is through faith in Jesus salvation. If wickedness in this life destroys the faith, there is only death in the hereafter. Because of the Godness that God placed in people, death in the hereafter is like God dying. Such dying takes forever because God is eternal. Such death will be the exact opposite of fun.
Then I'm in heaven, equal in status to BADecker, who has spent his entire life promoting his god, sitting in the trash of earth. We're equal in the eyes of his god and have the same privileges and same eternity of worshiping a vain god.
Again, it is faith in Jesus salvation that saves you. If you don't have enough of this faith when you die, you lose life in the hereafter, even though you have life here for a short time.
Now let's say I love this girl, and heaven for me is that we're together. She hates me, and heaven for her is that we're apart. What's the solution? Do we live in separate heavens, or does god reset our brains so we forget that the person with wings beside us murdered our parents?
Heaven for each of us is the thing God has in His plans. We don't know what it will be like. We barely have descriptions in the Bible of what we will be like. The one thing that we are assured of is great joy with God in the new universe He is preparing for those who love Him.
See, the problem is when you make up fairy tales, there are always so many holes in your stories. Evolution has no holes - only things we haven't discovered yet.
Since we have not discovered most of the things of evolution, how can anybody logically think that evolution doesn't have any holes? So far, evolution is the fairy tale.
Pull your head out of the sand BADecker - you still have many years of life ahead of you that you can put to good use!
I am trying to pull my head out of the sand. Nobody knows for a fact that he has many good years ahead of him. Death often comes suddenly, and people would have done things differently in their life if they knew they were headed for death in the things that they were doing.
Isn't it time that you started pulling your head out of the sand, so that you can see that the things that you trust are really only passing dreams? If you don't, you are going to lose it all, even your self.
