The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

I see Monero as an investment rather than manipulation, as the shares of the company that develops and grows, I as their forces, the trend now is an increase of about 50 percent or more per year. Show me another steady growth in at least 15 per cent?

LOL the more I read about Zcash the more suspicious I am.
No one from outside the development team has reviewed the crypto?
Relying on a "trusted setup" from the start? If there is a bug someone can make infinite coins and no one will ever know?
This is the exact type of setup someone like the NSA or other government agencies would backdoor.

I still need to do some more reading on Monero but it seems like the superior technology from everything I've read.

Since the beginning, each time Monero has dropped from the high points it has recovered. I do not see any reason why it will not do it this time also. I do not recommend panicking - just keep holding and live in denial.  Grin
Bear in mind, selling Moneros higher than you have bought leads to tax consequences so no point in selling... My bag doesn't feel painful to me to bear especially because I have no better use for those funds. Thinking afterwards, I should have gone all in Monero when the price was 0.001. Today I would be significiantly richer. And I think after 5-10 years the current price feels like peanuts.

Everything about ZCash smells like a spycoin.

Hopefully anyone with half a brain and a good understanding of international politics should see this too.

NrG, why are you such a flip flopper? You are clearly just making propaganda trying to serve your own agenda. There is not a lot of people writing here but there are clearly more silent readers as there is hardly anything else about Monero speculation on the net. A few pages ago, you were saying the exact opposite.

I just made an account to confirm what you say is true. I am a 1% earner in a G7 country. Given the systemic risk in the current financial system, Monero offers significant promise, and I am investing accordingly. Short term volatility is immaterial to my interest in Monero. Busy adults who are important in the real world don't troll internet forums. These trolls have an agenda, and aren't fooling anyone who matters.

XMR is standing strong currently with its BTC0.01 price stability and the support is also good at BTC0.0097, but I think that it won't go below that level currently and retest the resistance at BTC0.01069 where it was recently moved towards...

I agree that zCash is fishy. But still a vey good opportunity to make money with. Find coins with low lending fees and go for long term short. What a funny word connection long short  Cheesy

I guess Adolf comes within 24 hrs telling us he cannot take this anymore and sells his coins with small loss in order to buy back 3 % lower again.
The last time i sold i ended up lowering my breakeven price from 0.01371 to 0.01106, now it's too late to sell but i have considered selling above 0.012 but unfortinatily i have decided to wait 0.013 and lose a lot of money.

I have noticed from poloniex that the selling almost stops below 0.0113, i guess almmost all holders that is left are expecting higher prices. A lot of people seam to struggle with when to buy/sell and this moment. We are not in a downtrend for now(price has remained above 0.011 most of the time and never dropped below 0.01 again) but it's not really an uptrend either since the peaks are getting lower too.
Well, I guess we will not see 0.01 for our monero  and I believe it is a good buy with the current price in polo, if price will stable in that range there's a great chance that it will increase in due time giving us a good income as we have bought a cheaper price of monero now.

 Cheesy

To top all of it now, there is news about Poloniex having security issues that needs to be fixed. The article is posted on Crypto Coins News. There is a part of me that is thinking that this is only FUD. But if you remember what happened to Cryptsy, the first news about it that said that the exchange was not anymore liquid was also considered FUD and only a rumor. It turned out to be true and many people got their coins trapped.
