... that bug in my head telling me. Diveerrrrrrrsifffffyyyyyy, diiiiivvvveeerrrrsssiiiifyyyyyy Smiley

I had that same voice saying that in my head last couple days BUT I managed to shout it down, LOL, and instead lately have un-diversified a bit... presumably just temporarily.

By that I mean even though I was already "too heavy" into Monero vis-a-vis reasonable portfolio balance, lately I have cut deadwood and trimmed pruned slashed to the bone on *everything* else in order to have as much freed-up working capital to pile into XMR (and one other coin that shall remain unnamed here so as to not incite faction-wars)

As a result at the moment I'm 91.5% into XMR and "the other" with only about 8.5% anything else.  Not quite "all-in" but pretty fucking as close as I'll probably ever get.

Srsly hope this isn't a mistake and hopefully I won't miss out on too much going on in other areas of crypto-space... but, ya know, it's just, like... man, seriously?
right now... everything just looks SO MUCH like the STARS are ALIGNED in HoneyPony's favor!!

P.S. I'm still srsly of the opinion that as *soon* as multi-sig hits, we will see coinbase announce XMR as their next coin...  Cool

I went so far as to dump that other coin--won't name it, but it reminds me of litecoin  Tongue

Litecoin ? Surely you mean ETC ?

So with what few Monero I have not irrevocably lost I am actually having a strange temptation.

BTC might be setting up for a reversal here, and I am curious if anyone besides me is tempted to move some XMR over to BTC as in these scenarios we seem so often to drift downward against the rising BTC.

Someone talk some sense into me.  There are almost 3 XMR at stake here!

There have also been plenty of times where it moved upwards along with BTC or even moved alone ( remember december last year ? ) so you got a probability for every scenario :p

...
WTF does XMR need lightning???
...
I can think of 2 reasons: Instant (albeit off-chain) transactions and a boost in price.

I can imaging an anonymous crypto with instant transactions would be a very useful tool (not that it’s not already useful), and then with ingratiation of Lightning I’m sure we’d get a wave of new investors. I think that Lightning would be very good for Monero.

I'm starting a technology blog T4CH.top, check it out!

Anyone have a better image than this for our new meme?

If one can not confer upon another a right which he does not himself first possess, by what means does the state derive the right to engage in behaviors from which the public is prohibited?

Yeah... but crazy thing is it doesn't know what we are having for lunch, where we are having it, how much lunch we have, or who we have invited to eat with us.

So...  It will be staying hungry.

Trolls are always a good sign for Monero.

The last time they piled in was just before we went from 0.010558 up to three times that at the back end of August.

We just need a few more to prove the strength of the bullish sign.  One pathetic attempt isn't quite enough, but its a start!

Trolling seems to be an indicator, yes.   They came in force to give us a kicking in August and then look what happened.

It's not that scientific - but seems more than purely anecdotally sound.  Also it makes it fun when the trolls do come in...

Monero needs some good news right now. Looks like a hardware wallet is not in sight so best hurry up with that MyMonero Android app.

You do not need to wait for that since Verge already has that in place.
The only advantage Monero has over it is the size of the community but without any solid good news (not a fake pump) the price will stagnate and the community will look for better investment opportunities.
Something revolutionary should take place in Monerosphere to get any reason for a jump in the price. That's my opinion. Call me a troll/a retarded troll but I am personally looking for investment opportunities and I think Monero is severely overpriced given the state of the development... There are other coins that are far ahead and still have lower market cap....  Huh

This is just ignoring reality. TrueCryptonaire is fakenews. It's using a Bitcoin v0.8 codebase:
https://github.com/vergecurrency/VERGE/tree/master/src

That's like 5 year old code. It has absolutely zero innovation or plans for any afaik, and a dev that has spent like 12 months trying to setup an electrum server without success. Pump harder  Roll Eyes

You should not buy it then.... It will rise with or without you.

I won't. But you should go and make your own pump thread and take that discussion of verge there. You have a reputation of flip flopping.

Go away  Kiss

Nobody even bothers to say thank you to me for giving such a good buy tip...  Cry

Why should anyone thank you when they never asked for your input? Please take your pump coin discussion to another thread.

Obviously at times you self-indulge in patting yourself on your back in front of others. I just can't figure out if it is a giant ego or a mental disorder.

No one may never know.

Go and grow your Bitcoins without having to gloat about it and your attempts to sway sentiment with your posts to manipulate the market by posting in this thread (if that is even possible).

Profit more ...

Post less.
