Easy nhando.  I never bashed you or nicehash.  I was right, if it wasn't you it was your trainee.  Same speil.  It's badhash for me because it doesn't work for me.  I rent time based because I would feed the rent to long and lose at NH.  That works for me.  Obviously others do well NH.  Phillip just got one NH and I know others have.  You being pretty big jerk over a small light hearted and somewhat  correct observation.  It's a good day here, no need for the hate.

I just told him to look at the trend and rent ... when a pool is on a hot streak
...
No idea why that advice would be considered any good.

Here comes comes nhando with a new account boasting antpool in the same old thread and plugging badhash here...
Lol.  Awesome job knocking those blocks off guys.

No Jackass, I'm perfectly capable of doing that using my own account.  Just teaching my cousin on Bitcoin and told him to create an account and follow a few popular thread.  I just share some of the stats to him so being the eager beaver, he's sharing it with others.  There's nothing boasting any pools, as a Antpool luck have been very bad since yesterday other than they somehow miraculously jumped 100PH extra for a brief 5mins before dropping back.  I just told him to look at the trend and rent when price is cheap or when a pool is on a hot streak.  So he's been monitoring and is a bit frustrated he can't get anything for cheap due to the crazy renters.  Told him to put some hash at Kano to gamble since the streak is hot.  If I wanted to talk shit, I can talk shit using my own account.  What can anyone do to me?  Why go the extra step to create another account for that?  Also I have nothing to gain for promoting any specific pool.  So keep your ignorant comments to yourself.

P.S If you look at all my previous posts, I have never once bash any specific pools, only point out the pros and cons of each and tell people to be open minded with their options.  If you followed my history from other threads, Kano's pool is actually the only pool I've ever promoted since the 3.5PH days on other threads including the S7 if you go back and read it.  Similarly I do the same promotion for Zach's tool.   So F off.  Don't know why I even waste my damn time responding to a scumbag like you.  Also don't be bashing NH, as over 25% of Kano's hash comes from there at times.  More hashing = more money for him and faster block for yall.  Dumbass

Sorry cuz, didn't expect so much drama.  I only made 2 posts.  1 here and 1 on the S7 thread asking their expert opinion since seeing they have a crazy 100PH pop for 5 mins.  Just trying to learn if they know if it's some new S9 farm popping up for short testing or something.  This is all I said below.  I didn't say like Go to Antpool..  Not sure why he would think that we have ill intention of pushing Antpool with simply question on how they got such a giant pop so quick and then it's gone.  You told me to get some hash at market or below market price but I couldn't get anything on NH for .003 which starts at .0032 and now is cooling down to lower.  WH was min of .0036 at the time and now cool down to more affordable.   Thought you told me this is a supportive community so I figure they would welcome me since I'm trying to get some hash and be a new member.  Sorry again.

Anyone seen Antpool hit 415PH for a brief few minutes yesterday?  Wow.  How the heck they went from 260PH just last month to 324PH right now and that blip to 415PH.  They must have something crazy under testing?

Don't start nothing, won't be nothing.  How would you like it if you started talking trash about you which isn't true?  Stay off my back and I won't be on yours.  Anyways, I don't want to ruin the good spirit of the team today with the 200%+ luck. That's a hell of a track record.  More impressive is the 250 Blocks record at 110% and 500 blocks at 107%.  That is just pretty sick and very hard to achieve.

Well if there's any page on this thread that would be appropriate for a little spat it would be page 666!  Cheesy

Love the block killing luck lately, nice to see all stats green again.  The weekend has just begun, let's keep popping blocks!

I don't believe in superstition because it's bad luck: 13thF1oor6CAwyzyxXPNnRvu3nhhYeqZdc

Yeah I didn't start anything, you just got all butt hurt is all.  Your cuz sounded like you.  It was mini nhando.  Lol.   666 is perfect for this crap.  I'd say Philip had sound advice for him on the 100 block segments and Kano is right you can't chase a hot streak.  You will make more in Kano on a slow day than you will most other pools on a lucky day.  You can bet on that Jack.  Best pool hands down.

I have a question Kano.  What's more important...  Average hashrate or accepted shares?  I have some rentals getting 3 times the accepted shares than miners twice the hashrate.  I may not be asking the right question, but the difference makes curious about the effect on reward and effectiveness of the miners in general.

I just had some Easter bread with baked in eggs for supper. Was too lazy to make the omelette .

Still think the baked eggs should work for something.

And I guess they did as we are now on page 667!

Block by monysto with 49THS!  That gets him on the Acclaim Board with his first kano block!

That's block number 7 for Block Friday!  Cheesy Cheesy  There's still 39 minutes left to hit #8!

Edit:  And I'm glad to get off page 666...that was going nowhere fast!  Shocked

Shares doesn't mean much coz they also have a difficulty associated with them.
i.e. 2 shares at 1042 diff is the same as 1 share at 2084 diff

As diff increases, the number of shares for a given hash rate decreases (of course)
The effect is only an increase in variance of course.
e.g. if you send 10,000 shares at 1,000 diff, and lose 4 due to being stale, you'd expect similar results for higher diff i.e. 5,000 shares at 2,000 diff you'd expect to lose 2 due to being stale ... i.e. same expected average result ... but since it's fewer shares it takes longer to average out to the same result = higher variance

Edit: and I should add:
Higher variance doesn't mean worse results.
It means more variable results.
You could get lucky and have fewer stale shares than expected over a short period of time OR you could be unlucky and have more stale shares over a short period of time. Either is possible and be it better or worse luck, it's random.

Another good day and that brings up my dilemma , I was wanting to purchase more miners but also know from this forum that new machines are going to be coming out and want to make more now but also know that with the halving and such that it may be better to wait for more efficient units...and seriously considering dumping masses of money into it in near future. I am working a lot and don't have time to research what's coming up so thought I would ask here for news of new machines coming.
As far as large investment I have inquired with bitfury about the 12ph containers....and talking to brother and friend about joining in.
But for now just basic units.

Great to wake up to the green, green shades of blocks!

About a week ago, we had our challenges with monster red blocks, and now.... how's that for recovery!

What's good to see is that there so many small miners solving blocks.... awesome!

Btw, all this talk on bad hashes and rentals etc -- guys and gals - it's all about leveraging - I keep about 50% of my payouts into a rental fund - rent when rates are good, so have a system, rent wisely and let kano and ck manage the pool without unnecessary stress. At the end of the day, every hash mined here will benefit our beloved pool.

If I provided you good and useful info or just a smile to your day, consider sending me merit points to further validate this Bitcointalk account ~ useful for future account recovery...

Nob questions.
I started mining at Kano yesterday. After more than 12 hours the block% (0.021%) is still the same. Is this normal?

Will my rewards go directly to my wallet once the block is completed?
