time to sleep when I awake there will be two more blocks

Did you wake up yet?  Or did you happen to sleep for two days?  Because you came pretty close to calling these last two blocks.  Whatever you did, do it again please.  Cool

Hmm when trying to view the transactions via blockchain.info it gives this error on both transactions: "Transaction rejected by our node. Reason: The Maximum number of outputs in a single transaction is 250"

But I guess it will still come through ?

They always say that, but then they're only one bitcoin node and fortunately most other nodes and mining pools don't impose such restrictions, and that's what will determine whether the transaction gets propagated. That's the advantage of a peer to peer network rather than blockchain.info being the central authority for bitcoin (which it isn't).

Thanks for the explanation, had no idea they were using "more stricter policy" compared to "usual/other nodes" if such a concept as usual node even exists Cheesy

Shame to know that blockchain is implementing such a harsh policy though..

Once a transaction is mined into the blockchain, provided it's still a valid transaction, then there's no valid reason for bitcoin nodes to reject the transaction since it's part of a block.

Yes.

Also, blocks have been full most of the time since I did the payout so they haven't been confirmed by anyone else yet.
They will confirm Smiley

Worst case scenario is that we have to wait until our next block ... I use the bitcoin priority command to help ensure they're in our mining work.
That rarely happens that we confirm them though, coz we don't find many block each day and someone else usually confirms it a lot faster
(most payouts confirm within only a few blocks, often the next block after I send them)

Yep this one is a slow (2 payouts) to confirm.
Edit: they confirmed 45 seconds after I posted Cheesy

hi I have recently moved back across to bitcoin mining from Altcoins.

although at the moment I only have a tiny 24g/h I have alternated between CK.solo pool and the kano pool.

with the kano pool does it payout based on shares accrued against an address up to finding the next block?

just trying to figure things out whilst waiting on some hardware to arrive, as im use to seeing constant coins arriving in small amount with gpu mining on the other algo's...

Read through this thread and the method for calculating your payout has been explained many times, or search the forum for PPLNS.

Is the pool useble for the 800gh tubes with a block erupter controller or is it in the group of "firmware failure" in the controller?

The problem is the stratum implementation in the controller.
It ignores certain stratum rules.
The settings to make it work wont work for large miners, so we don't do that.

The web site explains the payout. It's PPLNS with an N range of 5 times the network difficulty.
https://kano.is/index.php?k=payout

Any dust rewards (less than 0.00010000 BTC) accrue in your account for the time being (all rewards are shown)
They are owed to you and will (one day in the distant future Smiley) be paid also

If you mine with it, you'll have to mine with it somewhere else.

1 THs - 0.05% of block (Workers)...okey...500 Ths - 500THs*0.05%/1THs=25% of block. 25% - 6.2 bitcoin. Correctly?....Not....What is the formula for calculating interest on the block in percent?

No, it's PPLNS.
On the web site: Help->Payouts https://kano.is/index.php?k=payout

Some of the stats show how much of the 'current' block you've worked on.
That's not what is used to determine rewards.

To determine a single particular reward, you need to see your % of the total hash rate sent to the pool for that reward.
That's shown on the Account->Rewards page after the reward has been calculated.

Easiest using an example of my rewards for the last block:
Code:
Block   Block UTC     Miner Reward  N Diff    N Range        Pool N Avg  Your %  Your N Diff  Your N Avg  Your BTC
384498  20/Nov 19:15  25.12289053   329.351G  176hr 16m 42s  2.23PHs     0.06%   185.841M     1.26THs     0.01417592

That particular reward 5Nd range was from "20/Nov 19:15" UTC, then back "176hr 16m 42s"
The pool hash rate average over that time was "2.23PHs"

So if you mined for that whole time with accepted shares at 500THs, you'd get 0.5/2.23 of "25.12289053" or ~5.63BTC in that one reward
The "Your N Avg" actually shows what your average hash rate was for that entire time.
So if you've only been mining for half of that reward, i.e. about 88hrs of it, then your overage over that time will actually be ~250THs, so you'd get ~2.82BTC

Now of course, as usual, you need to remember that all shares submitted, can get rewarded, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or more times.
If pool luck is always 100% then each share should be rewarded ~5 times.
Each time a share is rewarded, it will usually be ~1/5 of it's PPS value.
