What's a Juvia block?
the shifts are named after anime characters.... my first block landed on "juvia" - I googled "juvia" and omg.... she is a goddess! See my avatar, thats "juvia" .... I am a bit jealous that CK's avatar looks like my juvia.... hmmmm.... Careful -ck doesn't read that His avatar is Lucy (but not the Lucy from my ckdb anime name list - the Lucy listed in my List is from Fairy Tail like Juvia is) don't worry, if -ck unleash his power .... me and juvia can change into water anytime and escape! in meantime, I got to check my rental.... it's stalled again.... there must be another way!

it was from an S5+ dps2000 i had been working since september of 2015 What do you think is the root cause? Missing heat sink? Was there any warning indicators (ie board was running hotter than others for a while before this happening, etc)? Glad to see the burn out stops within the card only.

Sorry for being off topic.
Where does one go to find the Bitcoin price on a give day for tax purposes?

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text. Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing? A: Top-posting. Q: What is the most annoying thing on usenet and in e-mail?

Sorry to hear about that but glad nothing else caught on fire. Were you running it at the default frequency?

With the high failure rates of S5+ and S7 units (later batches), you couldn't pay me to take one of these miners and run them in my house.

blockchain info will give you the value of the transaction the day it was made and bitcoinwisdom has charts that go back about 2 years. https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/coinbase/btcusd

anyone has any idea why I cannot set de.kano.is:3333 on mining rig rentals. stratum.kano.is:3333 works just fine. but since I'm renting from Europe I would like to redirect to the de servers.
thanks in advance.

The de server blocks non-eu rentals, but it doesn't block eu rentals.

There'll be a full CKDB + CKPOOL restart some time in about 20-30 minutes - after the next shift completes and gets summarised.
For CKPool most users (99%) should just see a reconnect in cgminer if they happen to be watching it. For CKDB, the web page stats will be unavailable for about 10-20 minutes.
