The pool will automatically set it optimally for you.  Don't worry about it, as I understand it manually tweaking it doesn't do much good in the long run anyway.  Trust the code -ck and kano-san are running, best out there!

I don't believe in superstition because it's bad luck: 13thF1oor6CAwyzyxXPNnRvu3nhhYeqZdc
These aren't the Droids you're looking for: S5 & S7 (Sold), R4B2, R4B4 (RIP), 2x S9 obsolete, 2xS15-28, S17-56, S17-70

I agree, let the system automatically set it. If you were to do it manually, you'd need to be constantly revising it anyway.

Change the value "Worker Management\Minimum Diff" to 0 and does not change on asic's, but on the same did not put constantly difficulty and value changes.

Change the value "Worker Management\Minimum Diff" to 0 and does not change on asic's, but on the same did not put constantly difficulty and value changes.

1- observe Diff during a couple of day
2- figure the average diff
3- set it up in the worker management page

I think it's useful so your miner starts approx at the correct diff instead of starting at 1000 and adjust.
Smaller adjustment = faster adjustment = better (not higher) number of shares and load on pool

This is how I do it (works a treat on my 13block erupter @4Ghs total with diff 42)

Quote
* A value of 0, less than the pool minimum,
or less than the pool calculated value for you,
will use the pool calculated value

So the pool wil always enforce the diff unless yours is higher.
If your diff is higher you will submit less shares than the recommende 18/minute

Had to push in a quick ckdb restart.
Miners completely unaffected as per usual with a ckdb restart.
Still working on some code to deal with certain ckdb issues, but still not complete and it's got too late to leave it overnight.
Restart will be complete shortly.

Thanks for that banner, Kano!  That was really cool and it instantly conveyed the info that all was well and there was not a problem on my end...no troubleshooting needed.  Cheesy

Yeah sorry, the ckdb restart ended up taking half an hour.

Again, no miners were affected at all, but the web page/stats were unavailable for a while there.
I had to actually kill it off during the first restart coz it decided it wanted all the memory of the server Tongue
