DO I need to remind everyone that almost always after a reboot we got a block in the past? UGH..
Maybe we should have a reboot every hour  Cronjob every 5min |

What I am seeing is that when the pool hashrate suddenly goes up or down 3ph it seems to be easier to get a block.
I was wondering that if we were being ddos'ed at a low level just below the protection threshold and the hashrate changes 3ph then the threshold is breached and the protection kicks in.
Something like that.

14Ths is not that small You are right, it's all relative to where you sit On Kano right now miners with 50THs or higher make up 75% of the total hash rate. Those of us with less than 50THs are in the minority and could be called medium to small miners. It's quite exciting to see so many miners in the 25% total hash range hitting blocks! |

Agreed I have 1.2Th, and I'm quite happy to be over 1Th, I spent an unreasonnable amount of money to get there.... Now as long as I stay at this rate on the pool and it doesn't reach 300Phs, I'll still get payments for my shares (before halving of course) So I'm quite happy.... maybe some day I'll be able to afford a new miner with my earnings |
