... OMG ok then I revert back using uid then..thanks
As I already stated, it makes no difference to your total reward either way. However, if you mine to a BTC address, not an account username, you don't see any of the details.

Oh, boy, some of the BTC giveaway goes to 1FX, eh? I knew it was just a matter of time (practically called it on Discord).
Welcome, 1FX! Mine on!

Hello admin,
OOT Question: should I have to ramp up to 5ND again if I changed the worker name to btc wallet addressed only from uid.login workername?
i already changed the login workername with only btc wallet addresses, and I checked it is not merged with uid bullnw.
is it possible the kano pool merged my previous hashrate 5ND ?
thank you
The 5Nd doesn't work that way. If you switch your hash rate from one account to another or from one address to another, the resulting total reward will be the same. As it says on Help->Payouts, the 5Nd is not withholding rewards, it's spreading them out - so the result of pointing 100TH as 1 or more accounts, or switching from one account to another account, will not affect the total reward at all. Edit: I guess to add one more point, in case you only look at one or other account, as one account ramps down, the other account ramps up, but again the total reward of the 2 is the same as if you had only used 1 Ok it means that If only change the worker name into btc address it wont affect the total reward. other question: why now when I login using UID the data and etc did not showing anything...i.e. the worker name showing zero hasrate. thank you Because the account has no previous mining. If you mine to an address, it's mining information is stored under that address, not some other account. Mining to an address account is not the same as mining to an account that uses the same address. They are two different unrelated accounts that the payout happens to go to the same address. OMG ok then I revert back using uid then..thanks You will like mining to your account name better...you will see better detail on your workers. As your uid ramps down your account will ramp up so your wallet never misses a beat.

Unless you're running a significant percentage of the Pool's total hashrate, your mining power isn't what determines the 5Nd but the Pool's.
From Kano.is/help/payouts The pool hash rate for the last day is roughly 221.57PHs which means the 5Nd 'ramp' is roughly 7days 13hrs

It's the same as the ramp up for 1 or 10 TH/S. The period doesn't change based on the amount of hashrate. I think the current ramp up to full reward is around 8 days. You do get paid for all submitted work in that time, and vice versa if you shut down your miners at any point. Edit: From Kano.is/help/payouts The pool hash rate for the last day is roughly 221.57PHs which means the 5Nd 'ramp' is roughly 7days 13hrs
Nice I had never checked that out before. I was going off my worker graph lol. Now that I've checked looks like my 841 is taking a nap, Must have warmed up quite a bit at home.

How long is ramp up for 80TH?
Disclaimer (How a 5Nd PPLNS pool works): After you contribute with us toward your first 100% block, for example, you'll probably say something like "What in the world?!?!" when you see your first payout is about 1/5 what you would expect. Hold your horses--er, miners! Don't freak out and immediately login to your miners and repoint them back to some corporate pool safe-space where you pay high fees--Kano's is only 0.9%!!!--in exchange for daily payouts. Take a deep breath, calm down, and remember this post telling you that due to the 5Nd PPLNS payout method, you didn't just get ripped off or lose 4/5 of a payout. It's just averaged over 500% of the current network difficulty (5Nd) to reduce payout variance. So, even if you were to stop mining here after the first 1/5 payout, and the pool finds four (4) more 100% blocks without you, you'd still get that 1/5 payout four (4) more times!Hopefully, you're not already scared off, and you think to yourself "I must just be missing something about this pool with 2100+ forum pages, 1000+ miners, and 2300+ blocks!", so you keep mining here over the next week or so, and you ramp up from 1/5 to 2/5 then 3/5, etc. all the way to 5/5. Then, if you ever quit mining, you'll ramp back down from 5/5 to 4/5 then 3/5, etc. all the way back down to 0/5. That's the most basic scenario, but I hope that helps to prepare you a little bit. Basically, it's an awesome way to reduce variations in your payouts especially if you have intermittent outages in which case you'll barely even notice that in your rewards. P.S. - Read my sig. It's all true. We love it here, and there's even more discussion on Discord, which you can join via the link on the Kano.is homepage... We look forward to mining with you and reading your comments and questions. P.P.S. - I wish I got paid by the word for this post, but alas, it was all for free. That should at least tell you something about the community here too, actually.

568.71 dollars/24h + ASIC blockies. I have on my plans big mining hall "idlework" and point it on KANO, pool.

Post of mine deleted from that other pool thread ... Gotta love it when people lie about things then try to hide it A reply of yours, quoted below, was deleted by a Bitcoin Forum moderator. Posts are most frequently deleted because they are off-topic, though they can also be deleted for other reasons. In the future, please avoid posting things that need to be deleted. -ck feels much the same about bitmain as most of us.
How would anyone feel about a multibillion dollar company that uses your free software as the cornerstone of their business and have never engaged you on any level? Sorry - I can't leave that false statement without making a reply. The original S1 miner, bitmain sent you one for free and you ignored them, never updating the driver in cgminer, even though bitmain had their driver code available before I did the driver. I also contacted them early on and paid them (full price) to send me an S1 - which I said to them to give them support from me also - that of course was to my advantage also, getting straight into the next batch of S1s Finally a few months after that, when you still hadn't added the bitmain S1 driver to cgminer, I did the S1 driver and converted it over to cgminer. Firstly I just reformatted the whole bitmain driver code to look like cgminer, then rewrote parts of it to fix major problems in the bitmain code. You can check the public git to see this is true. You sent me your original S1. So that's what actually happened. They sent you one and you never did the driver (I didn't do it until a few months later) You dug your own grave there with regards to bitmain.
