It was not until I broke through 1.7 TH/s average that I got my first real payment.
Also, we are seeing rain here for the first time in our beautiful, drought stricken High Desert.
Yeah close to 2TH/s now and that will of course keep going up each diff change. (it will also go up if the pool hash rate increases and go down if the pool hash rate ever decreased)

Hello Group,
Where is a good place to purchase replacement fans for s9. I purchase 4 off of ebay. They arrived individually shrink wrapped and in new condition. 1 works, 1 has no tach, and 2 vibrate like crazy. Maybe I just had bad luck and got a bad batch, any recommendations are appreciated. Thank you,

Kinda off topic, so I'll send ya a PM. Thanks I ordered spares. I had to turn one miner off. My replacement fan was vibrating so bad I thought the entire miner would be a pile of parts by morning. Now it's time to get a block!

7 days without a blocks ! what is the minimum pooling hashrate to get easier to finding a block's? ... As long as you expect to get at least a few blocks every 2 weeks between diff changes it's OK. Since the last diff change we've so far had ... 3 blocks. Our highest Diff block is 928% last October. Time isn't a factor in the calculation - time is a calculation on the Diff value depending on the pool hash rate. Yes you get more blocks more often on a larger pool and less variance, but that also means higher fees and long term less reward. We did just have WAY better luck for a month than any other pool so it's pretty much irrelevant. Have a read of Help->Luck for anyone who wants more info. We've so far had NO blocks (before this one) in the last 108 that were over 400% CDF stats, as shown on that page, says we should average, over a large number of blocks, 1 in 54.6 blocks over 400% so we are doing well there also.

Thanks Kano for the explanation...hmm...pseudo-random...difficult to understand...but i'm trying anyway. cheers.

Mining is pseudo-random - not fully considered random. It's a mathematical function that 'could' be solved to pre-determine the results - but alas it's beyond anyone (so far) to actually do that, so for all intents and purposes, the sha256 hash value result of the 80 byte block header is random. In truth, nothing is random, but the universe is way too big to be able to monitor every particle to pre-determine the outcome of events even as simple as rolling an unbiased dice.
