So have you figured out if you'll be able to issue more bonds every week?  Or every month?

am curious about this too.?

Will you be issuing new bonds for the next few weeks before 8/1/2012?

If you're not excited by the idea of being an early adopter 'now', then you should come back in three or four years and either tell us "Told you it'd never work!" or join what should, by then, be a much more stable and easier-to-use system.

considering the current depth chart, you should, be able to buy some cheaper, second hand ones.
so no worries here Smiley

I've been trying to harvest some growth data from this thread, but not really been able to. Do you guys have logs of the size of this bond over time, as in total bonds issued and sold to customers? I'm interested in the net deposits from this bond to BS&T over time.

Just observing for now. I found a post that made overall size below 7k on 05-26, that at least gives way over 7% user base growth to 30k now. The question I actually wonder about is, the flamewar aside, has average recent growth been above 7% weekly?

I'm just curious how Pirateat40's bet with me plays out under my own assumptions, not trying to prove anything right now.

You can find the growth data from the dividend payment stats on the GLBSE asset page for this bond: https://glbse.com/asset/view/TYGRR.BOND-P

Hello, It seems that the Trust accounts at this time can not have coin pushed out. The smaller savings accounts can.

At this time we will keep the TYGRR.BOND-P operating as it has. I will also open up sub accounts if there is demand.

Thanks.

What does this mean?  That sentence makes it sound like Trust accounts won't be paid out.

Effectively, it means you can deposit as much as you like and it will stay there. Smiley

What gets me... Why is it not enough for the pirate haters to open a load of new threads, but they also have to go and post in every single thread? Yawn.

For context if anyone is following this thread but does not know, This guy just made a 5000 BTC bet that Pirate will default. It looks like he is just trying to cause a run on the bank to make it true. :/ What a poor sport. Can let it play out on the merits alone :/

I should be allowed to point out an extreme event like that with a little extra smiley. What I did before the bet, that was trying to cause a bank run. I believe there's no way I can change the outcome of the bet, other than resigning it.

Why would a bank run make a non-Ponzi operation default? If BS&T is susceptible to a bank run, why does it allow withdrawals at all times?

Let me just add a warning to my sig to be done with this accusation.

Actually, bank runs can kill "real" banks too... Roll Eyes

Anyways, got myself another few quite cheap shares so far! Looking forward to some happy Tuesdays. Smiley

Meh, I should have stayed in it.  I pulled out last week and lost out on around 25BTC (across all my PPT-related holdings).  Thanks a lot, Vandroiy.  DICK.

Since it's too late, maybe you should just try thinking of it like a charity.
Your money didn't go into a black hole. It went to a person who bought the underpriced bonds from you and this person is most likely not evil, and maybe even disabled or has a cancer... Smiley
