am solo mining DGB in the hope that they go up in value.
I got one "yay" this morning and this went into my wallet which is the official version and I got 2386.045241 DBG
I got another "yay" this afternoon but nothing went to my wallet, I can see things like "AddToWallet" and "ProcessBlock: ACCEPTED" and "generated 2385.965241"  in the debug file for the wallet
I am using ccminer sp version from a few days ago from git which I compiled myself,
My question is what do I look for in the log to tell me what the problem is?
Does my wallet need to be unlocked during mining, although I am fairly sure it was locked when I got the 1st "yay" this morning
I've spent a couple of hours googling this issue and not found anything relevant, apologies if this is a noob question that I should know.

Has anyone got build instructions  from source on Windows 8 ?

Install Visual Studio Express 2013 for Windows Desktop
Install Nvidia CUDA 6.5 Toolkit
Download the ccminer source code
Open the ccminer.sln file
Make sure the compiler is set to "release" and "Win32"
Rebuild solution

Then you should see the ccminer.exe in the release folder

Works - partly ...

Can someone tell me which flag I have to set to get it compile with curl ssl support in MSVC 2013 Express ?

When I try to connect I get HTTP request failed, protocol https not supported or disabled in libcurl.

Of course my local libcurl lib is ssl enabled and the one in the "compat" dir also from what I see.. So it is probably an option somewhere ?

Sounds like it was stale/orphan. Around the "generated 2385.965241" part there should be something about it being "stale". It differs for some wallets but here's an example from a random wallet log:

Question about CUDA 6.5 Toolkit - when I install this, it wants to downgrade my driver from 347.xx, do I have to allow this, or will it function with my current drivers?

You can keep your recent driver. But nVidia CUDA installer often changes driver despite the user choice. In that case you will need to reinstall your favorite driver.

Thanks - Question #2: I got it to compile x64 (first time to actually get ANYTHING to compile  Grin), but I can't get it to compile the 32 bit - I get "Unsupported gpu architecture 'compute_52'" - quick solution?

(Edit: I have 750 Ti's and 660's - so if I could "turn off" the 5.2 and "turn on" the 3.0, that'd be great!)

In VS right click on the project, select Properties and under CUDA C/C++ and Device remove the compute_52,sm_52 part (that's for 900-series cards) and leave the compute_50,sm_50. If you also want the 660 to work you need to add compute_30,sm_30 but that might run into CPU validation issues.

That worked - thanks a lot!! (and yeah - 3.0 - validation issues)

- Compute 3.0 is broken. Need to fix that.
- Also I got a couple of not validate on the cpu when mining x15 on a 750ti. Need to investigate.

Working on Spreadminer 6 for the donators. This will support compute 35 devices as well as being faster than version 5.

its quite sad that some of the donors like me cant have access to the linux version sp ...

im not blaming anyone here - as you made it quite clear that it will be a windows only version as private - but it is frustrating to say the least when we could be testing and using this private miner ...

its actually easier to compile a linux version than a windows version in my humble opinion - and you would open up to a larger group of miners ...

its only my opinion - but i believe its a valid one ...

Using Release 36 on Qubit I show I am getting 11,700 kh/s on a GTX970 but the pool never shows above 5,500 kh/s.

Is the miner way off or an issue with the pool?

I am on Windows 7 64 bit.

I tried the Release 38 but I get no hashes.

If you are going to leave your BTC on an exchange please send it to this address instead 1GH3ub3UUHbU5qDJW5u3E9jZ96ZEmzaXtG, I will at least use the money better than someone who steals it from the exchange. Thanks Wink

Which pool ?

The Block Factory.

Sorry can't tell for them - probably different implementation, but do you have rejects/invalids ?

Using Release 36 on Qubit I show I am getting 11,700 kh/s on a GTX970 but the pool never shows above 5,500 kh/s.

Is the miner way off or an issue with the pool?

I am on Windows 7 64 bit.

I tried the Release 38 but I get no hashes.

Yes.

I am showing 4.51 Mh/s valid and 45.08 kh/s invalid for hash rate for the last 3 hours.

If you are going to leave your BTC on an exchange please send it to this address instead 1GH3ub3UUHbU5qDJW5u3E9jZ96ZEmzaXtG, I will at least use the money better than someone who steals it from the exchange. Thanks Wink

Hmm I know that from my pools, looks like a portion is "share above target" - it usually comes when vardiff retargets and the formula (or diff1) is wrong.. Its either a pool or a miner prob .. Can you test on any other pool to see if it works ?Smiley
