MSI GTX1070 DUKE*6(8+6pin) drivers: 368.69 ccminer1.8.1 ~1548M(~258M) temp:78C power:1350W SP-MOD#3 ~1680M(~280M) temp:70C power:1270W
It is huge consumption either way. In my case ccminer1.8.1 6*1070(8pin) ~980W at wall, 1578Mh/s

Just as a FYI, MSI 1070s suck massive dick. The red cards in particular (various models) I have close a 50% failure rate! Not even joking. The power delivery can't handle it. It's not even fully utilizing the TDP of the card either as they provide up to 126%. Just mining Library like all the other cards.
Tonight I had one of my rigs reset, turned it back on... One of the cards was missing, I tried rebooting it, wouldn't show up, turned it off, tried rebooting it again... a completely different MSI 1070 red blew blue magic smoke from the VRM power area (power plug) and died, not even related to the other red that had failed. Two dead cards on the same night.
Don't touch these cards, they also don't stay as cool as other cards from other manufacturers. For a premium card they sure are chincing on electronics to save money. I'm scared to think what's going to happen when I try mining something else that hits close to max TDP, they're all just going to die at the same time.

^Sounds like a bad model.
Though I have to say the only reason I went with 1070's instead of 1080's because the Gigabyte 1080's also only have 1 x 8 pin, just like the 1070's and those can already use 190 watts.
I love the Gigabyte OC cards but the power delivery of this series is just awful.

Shame I had one MSI gaming x 1070, runing it 90% powerlimit and 2000Mhz clock it just shut down my pc, looks like too VRM dies... And i have bunch of Gainward cards working no problems at all
Still waiting on RMA, duno what to tell them, I hope in new revision they fixed the problem, prolly bad parts, because Gaming X had 8pin+6pin in robust VRM

ccminer1.8.1 crashes my system using the same command used below for ccminer 1.8.0 and SP-MOD#3
Command used to achieve the above rates:

It's all models of the MSI cards. I have gaming, gaming 8g, gaming z 8g. They all have the same problem. It's disgusting as the card is supposed to be pretty robust.
They've been mining mainly Lbry and there are some algos that will use even more power, such as dual mining and neos.
If you're interested, take a smell around the VRMs / Power plug. You can smell the burnt silicon if you aren't around when it dies. I literally saw it eject blue magic smoke out of the side of the card when one died though.

Yeah, these days it's hard to find a vendor which won't make a mistake. I'm sticking to EVGA and Gigabyte, because of their longer warranty.

Not good, one 1070 can do 310mhs easily with 150watt only Depends on the 1070 as not all were made equal My Samsung memory G1s are doing 304~306 My Micron memory G1s are doing 295~297 Plus this is my first time using ccminer/nvidia cards and I'm still learning the command interface and nvidia-smi. I'm sure once I play around with a few of the settings like -i intensity and -pl 150 I can achieve 310 with the Samsung memory cards and 300+ with the Micron memory cards @ 150w. Thanks for your input though

"Does any one of you experience a weird stratum reonnection with sp- 's latest v #3 LBRY kernel?" Courtesy of scryptr On miningrigrentals it's almost a constant (!!!!) "donation" ! This fee miner it's a pain, this isn't the way to go. @sp: 2 emails and a public notification. I am awaiting a response. thanks !

I am awaiting a response. thanks ! @ go6ooo1212 have you ever tried to point this release to Miningrigrentals? This kernel behaves weirdly, it constantly show a stratum reconnection, and given the fact that sp forces you to "donate" to him the first 4 minutes, you're donating with a 100% rate. In all honesty I've necer seen something like this from a fee-kernel, and I'm a bit worried. @scryptr hehe, thanks for your correct interpretation. Just edited the post with your phrase. It's not that I'm expecting more, it's that I am expecting to mine for myself at 96.7% rate and 3.3% to sp, not 100% to him. Give it a try. I've sent him an email some days ago regarding this issue and other things, still no response.

Guessing Nik bought it from Scrypt... He isn't responding because you didn't buy it from him.
CCminer has a bug with MRR, you have to use the dynamic port it tries to reconnect to as it doesn't tolerate stratum redirection for some reason. Epsylons version has this bug as well.
Still saying SP you should lower fee to 2% and it should be a free release.
