TL;DR I get from this:

1. Rock Xie is shrugging off his liability by claiming he's merely an agent--
"we are responsible to sell the hashrate, and develop the platform, collect the earnings and send out dividends, and resolve customer queries.

2. Selling the hashrate was not even his idea--
"Coincidentally, friedcat wanted to sell the hashrate, and so we cooperated."

3. Don't go to the cops, we got this--
"Trying to recuperate funds via law enforcement will be of little to no use, since if we could have done anything, we would've."

4. [Shareholders?] were not informed of the [robbery?] per friedcat's request--
"friedcat said ... releasing the news would just cause unnecessary panic."

5. Friedcat's family has filed [a missing persons report?]--
"friedcat's family also reported this to the police"

6. Friedcat shut down some AM farms due to unprofitability--
"AsicMiner stopped some test mining farms/datacentres, since they were too costly to continue operating, and so, it is natural to shut them down."

A reasonable read, or?

Does anyone know if Friedcat was travelling alone or where he was going in Mongolia, has anyone tried tracing his route and going to this place in Mongolia?

I don't know how anyone can believe the AMHASH fairy tale when they have changed the story (lied) 3 times now:

1.- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=833704.msg10392962#msg10392962

2.- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=833704.msg10610885#msg10610885

3.- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=833704.msg10631414#msg10631414

And they are so cynical that want us to sit and wait for the infamous friedcat for him to appear in its own free will, not even that they are searching for him.

This is an insult, fight back here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=974893.0

I aggree, if he been missing since 25th January, today 3rd March, has anybody from AMHASH, ASICMINERS, ROCKMINERS not tried to re-trace his movements, someone must have know where he was going in Mongolia, all the miners must have been sent to the warehouse in Mongolia so someone must have the address.

Seems the wallet FC is in control of has coins moving out, extortion or payment for Mongolia rent/electricity, the plot thickens.

So far all I can find is a bunch of uninformed, panic. The same three jerks are just playing echo chamber with each other. the story gets better with each cycle. Can anyone point to any actual information from AMhash? I have scoured the website for the "announcements". This is a big deal, but until my withdraws fail I really have doubts about your "facts". Having lived in Hong Kong and Singapore for years, most of the region shuts down or slows down for the new year holiday. And forget traveling in February. Go ahead try to book a plane ticket from Shanghai to Hong Kong on Feb 15th.

Amhash has announced an issue about stolen mining equipment and disappearing of FriedCat(Asicminer guy).
Asicminer is paying and has been paying the amhas dividends so far.
The responsible parties seem to take care of things and working on it. I believe they have good intentions.

This kind of panic is normal, because of what happened lately, no one came soon enough with detailed explanation.

<snip>

On the off chance Havelock resumes trading, no amount of false confidence on your part will rope in enough greater fools to buy your bag.
It's yours.  Forever.
Learn to love it.

I think he means trading the AMHashes1 or whatever, which is down.

Forgive my petulance and oft-times, I fear, ill-founded criticisms, and forgive me that I have, by this time, made your eyes and head ache with my long letter. But I cannot forgo hastily the pleasure and pride of thus conversing with you.
