Well it's good to see things return to normal per se. Bitcoinity and Gox working smoothly and back to $170 now.
Continued the timelapse once Bitcointy came up but will do another large segment later tonight, then merge the two days into a longer clip. I wish I captured everything but it is what it is.

Oh Loaded, who art up in Mt. Gox, hallowed be thy name! Thy dollars rain, thy will be done, on BTCUSD. Give us this day our daily 10% 30%, and forgive the bears, as we have bought their bitcoins. And lead us into quadruple digits

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=172944.0Could it be! Gox was down because of authentic traffic? All the other charts and sites were magically but naturally stressed!! Gonna have to hit up comboy and see why he was down! Someone hit up clarkmoody and see if he was DDOSed! Where is theymos!? Ask him if bitcointalk was DDOSd today!!? the forums were lagging like mad for me all day, and sometimes the forums didn't respond at all. is it because of to many people hitting the forums all at once? or was it DDOS... is their a way to distinguish between DDOS and a million noobs hitting refresh? Well the forum did smash the all time users online by a significant amount. Also, with most of the charts not working people probably refreshed a lot for new info

Well you can run a cross check on youre ip traffic with a list of known botnet ip's.. You can use DDOS mitigation services that have analyses and forensic tools too...

So, did recent kill the bull market or will the next round of dumping take us from $1000 to $500? That's some red candle, bravo bears. I didn't think you had it in you. Next round could be 1000 to 500. Bull market is doing just fine. We needed a correction badly. Once we get rolling again it will show the world that this ISN'T a bubble. This is something else, and it is something that people want even if it is new, unusual, and 'strange' without a product or physical metal. More people will join in.

Mt. Gox needs to implement some sort of spam filtering on small orders. Lowering their volume might be a good start to help out the lag/panic issue. Boy this sure looks legit to me... https://i.imgur.com/TTfPVyd.jpg

Yes if you look at the order books on Clark Moody you'll see some bot spamming 0.02 orders.

It's from both sides, they're both trying to pump it or dump it.
Don't like the fact I'm going to bed now, it looks fragile as glass at the moment.

They could limit the number of orders for each account per day. A normal human account should make no more than 1000 orders per day. Big volume accounts may have higher limit. People may apply for an increase of limit if they are trading properly

They profit from the panic so i dont think they will take steps unless pressured!

That should get rid of those annoying bots and probably isn't that difficult to implement at all.
