Wasn't it at 90 something before it went down? Looks like a slight rollback to me.

Nope right where it was. A roll back will never happen. If it does bitcoin will likely be done.

It's a pity Gox doesn't have a base+percentage commission structure to keep all these nuisance transactions out.  They certainly can't be helping the situation.

Tips much appreciated! 1PPJHDawPvjh6MEzsvXrMYLgpLmyAaNXUc

I still don't understand what are they doing. If I'm experiencing heavy ddosing, the simplest thing to do is close API and apply anti-bot captcha.

This is not some pseudoeconomic post-modern Libertarian cult, it's an un-led, crowd-sourced mega startup organized around mutual self-interest where problems, whether of the theoretical or purely practical variety, are treated as temporary and, ultimately, solvable.
Censorship of e-gold was easy. Censorship of Bitcoin will be… entertaining.

Yeah you can bet exchanges on Wall street are under non-stop attack and yet they run fine.  This isn't magic, I do hosting for a living and we have data centers all over the world.  One on wall street just for zero latency.  These guys are pathetic.  Angry

Orthodox exchanges are NOT accessible to the public. You pay huge chunk of money to get _direct_ access to it.
