What's the old saying " if its to good to be true, it probably isn't" such was the case with Gaws Paycoin... will people never learn?  Cool all those poor fools now broke and out of their investment, over on HT... tisk tisk

Should have invested in BTC, which is on its way back up!  Grin

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

So it hit $20 internally at Paybase but not externally at Cryptsy? How exactly is his little system connected to the outside world, where he says they couldn't maintain the floor because the trolls were dumping it on the outside?  Did it ever hit $20 dollars outside anywhere?

already been posted but

https://hashtalk.org/topic/28349/update-gaw-q-a-january-7th-moved-to-january-14th-8-00-pm-est-gmt-5

A simple Q and A further delayed, they can't even do that on time.......People were losing their shit , about 16 posts of complaints , now they are magically all gone. better make the forum look clean and tidy and positive

They don't get it, at this late stage he is effectively laughing in their faces.  He sees how they repeatedly accept his "cool things" and "boy oh boy wait till you see what I got for you", the freak talks to them like he talks to his two toddler children, and the respond in kind. yay josh, can't wait, thanks josh, just hearing from you is good enough.

The ones complaining now are the real customers, the ones dismissing and gushing and fawning all over him have to be internal employees or outsourced cheerleaders.

GAW is not a scam and never will be a scam. They promised stuff yes and they could not deliver does that make it a scam? No it does not it just proves people make mistakes

This is the 5th time I have seen this fairly new talking point being repeated. Utter bullshit.

This is a premeditated concerted scam from day one. You have to be fucked in the head not to see it back then and now.

Read this fucking thread backwards and forwards for the hundredth time until it sinks in why.

wonder what name will show up on the buyer's cc statement for the seller. wonder if they have money transmission licenses at the state level - the one page MSB FinCEN form is just a notice filing, doesn't include the bonding requirements the states have.

Shame the coindesk article did not mention the $500K per minute rubbish!  Cry Cry Cry Cry

True, there are some missing pieces, but overall a good article. Has the timeline with screenshots and everything. It's evident that some decent effort went into this. Let's hope this is a sign of how GAW will be scrutinized by the media from now on.

Well they've been warned for weeks now. Here come overcharges, unauthorized charges, every trick in the book now with real money. You had to extricate your play play money out of them with a crow bar and dynamite. Cannot fathom these people now attempting same with real money.

I don't know what wallet you're looking at... there's a prime but not a prime wallet (https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xpy/address.dws?119166.htm) that's staking very nicely above the normal 5%...

over 5,500 XPY generated through staking to date (first deposit 1/3/15 01:25:34).

I guess they're still testing...

EDIT:  Oh, and the amount seems to be compounding... like the code says it will... imagine that... the code says it's compounding .96 daily and it is!!!!!!!!

At least the coins are not moving... so we still hope they'll burn them, don't we?

I'll of course be destroying the staked coins on the test node Smiley

There will be no foul play here and there is no reason to assume there would be.

Thanks!

Only problem is since they're doing their test, and a long one at that, in production and not a testnet every single stake that occurs is lost to the network and the wallet they are using is one of the highest balances therefore providing significant network difficulty increases that should not be happening.

No matter how they try to say it, their test is in fact foul play.  Unintentional due to lack of knowledge, skill, or whatever it is; but it's still creating an unfair PoS system for an extended period of time.  We've bitched about a coin dev screwing up PoS for a day... Why does GAW get to screw it up for days with no end in sight?

This space not for rent...

Gaw is a fucking scam

They sell Paycons on paybase for 20 bucks each in the 3 rd round of their IPO, they dump the coin to fucking nothing and blame us here, and anyone on hashtalk who admits to selling coin get shouted down at from the fuckwits, paybase is a fucking joke and nothing works and was delayed....but since the 29th to today all Josh has bothered to do was setup MORE ways for him to earn money from people - thats credit card purchases within paybase.

He has done nothing for the coin, for his customers at this time and selfishly did this for himself

If that doesn't raise your WTF !! flags then nothing will and you are a brain dead shill that needs a bullet between the eyes for your stupidity.

Hackers are already buying and dumping with stolen CC data as we speak I'm sure. It's a 0 sum game though, what they buy they'll just dump for BTC.

Awe already maxed my cards like an idiot. All in!

Can't even spell Aww correctly. I bet he will be in Awe when he realizes he has to pay those credit cards(not just one he maxed) off and he has to sell his paycoin back @ $1 because boss-man lied to him. Either way he is definitely the idiot he refers to himself as.
