Really in the early days most didn't keep records or pay tax in 2014 it was all about new tech and a free market place. Shit most people would be to scared to admit that they actually made a profit, could you imagine the one called Volder or Russian wanting the IRS wanting to know what their BTC balances are!

If i remember correctly, Volder's real name was Tim.  I remember Volder said he was trying to sell all his hashlets to get into another business venture.  Homero talked him out of it.  Volder got screwed bad.

He did!  He kept buying & buying Paycorn, too, not realizing he was tilting at windmills against a 99% pre-mine.
The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Good to see Homero finally home  Cheesy

Reading some of the old threads on various "prison" forums it does indeed seem it was almost a vacation for many early on, but newer discussions also seem to indicate that things have tightened up considerably and its not as relaxing as it used to be.

Immediate thinking is we need someone on the inside and that prison pen pals always seem to make the news. Quick checking shows that there are many prison penpal sites dedicated to this, some even official. Quite surprising when looking into it, always thought that weirdos seeking these friendships took a flyer and fired of mail unsolicited to whatever ever nutjob in en vogue. Whole damn sites dedicated to these match ups.  Selecting an inmate according to location doesn't seem to be an option, need to dig deeper etc.

Immediate catch is this young fella

https://www.inmate-connection.com/profile_7295/

Dude's there till 2031, maybe he can become Homero's best friend and teach him the....ways of the soap bars... while reporting back to us. Pretty funny if an inmate registered an account here and gave weekly updates with pictures of Homero...  There must be many others bored enough in there to do just that.

Place looks nice and neat and tidy, lawn looks regularly mowed also looks like lots of places to park the Tesla  Shocked

Let me start with a disclaimer: I'm not particularly fond of GAW and its business practices and that is well documented around here. Feel free to take what I have to say with your daily dose of sodium.

With that out of the way, let's take a look at GAW's main product: The Hashlet....

That makes me both proud and sad on so many levels. Proud of the community effort that no doubt helped to end this shitshow. All of you - wherever you are these days - I hope you're doing well and your grandchildren are enjoying the tale of you slaying the big bad scammer. Sad to see so many lose their money and still after years of drama the story is not over. So much damage caused by the ego of one person with the help of a few sycophants.

@Sirazimuth & I also drank of the kool-aid. I think @suchmoon detoxed first, and sounded the alarm.

A sad shame a man like Homero is stuck with muggles in prison, the trolls should be there instead

There's a shit ton of new documents on Pacer.  About 300 pages worth.  Looks like they are taking a random sample of losses from various individuals.

First document I read https://docdro.id/l1FM08M
