https://hashtalk.org/topic/25441/paybase-rescheduled/1
https://archive.today/W3OTH

Lets just get to it, first the bad news.

Paybase has been rescheduled to 29th of December .

Guess he stepped a bit ahead of himself when he said:

Based on his ability to make pre-announcements, I wonder if then he really means 2016...

Question...: Where ... Huh

Answer...:   In the jail... Wink

So what was that crap about needing verifications? He claimed that they were required by law. Until now. Now you can sell XPY for BTC with no verifications just like a dozen other exchanges.

What changed?

Notice he has never said you can actually withdraw your BTC, instead you will proably have to buy a Hashlet branded vest, cap & cock ring.

As long as I can get a hashlet t-shirt like that gaw employee on the tinychat I'm golden!

It will be sad if he allows everyone of buy and sell XPY for BTC and USD on paybase but withdrawing it requires time or kyc.

I'm amazed by how often bitcoin startups forget to look and a calendar and/or take off for holidays.

If they were planning on having off for Christmas Paybase should have been up and running and coasting by Christmas or the launch should have been planned for January.

If these guys take off for New year's people should riot.

I don't believe this latest delay has just come to light today, be careful.  The bot run earlier and timing of the delay ANN could be building up to another big twist .

Looks like the buy wall at 0.03 on Cryptsy is slowly being reduced.

At 12:01 EST it is down to 694.29570134 XPY for 20.82887104 BTC

Last time I looked less than an hour ago I thought I saw it at 750 XPY. The market sells haven't dipped down that low yet. It could be other orders to sell at that price being cancelled or shifting to new positions.

The market is buying it back up though but not to its original level.

Homero is predictable if nothing else. I knew something seemed fishy about his actions today. They just reeked of desperation.

Even though paybase truly isn't fully baked, I think there's more to this behind the scenes. This is stalling. Being half-baked never stopped them from releasing a new product/site before.

I just don't buy his confidence in creating that floor. He has changed his mind so many times before. I think they're still trying to figure out the floor problem. Hoping maybe the market can work things out for them. I don't see an endgame that doesn't cost them millions and millions though. The problem with setting the floor is he is essentially taking on 240 million in debt for 12 million coins. Every coin is fun coupon worth exactly $20 and payable right out of gaw's pocket. And those coins are growing at a rate of almost 1%. And every coin he sells for less than $20 is a net negative because gaw may have to pay $20 for it at some later date.

I just don't see how this doesn't end very very badly for gaw. Merry Christmas Homero!

The problem I see with my latest idea is I assumed people would actually place a value on Paycoin. I've since realised that most people dont give 2 shits about any cryptocoin other than what it could be worth tomorrow, and that to most people its simply a vehicle to fiat wealth. Oh well, time for a new scheme before this thing disappears up its own asshole...  Cheesy

Keep your eye out for my latest plan!

Man, customers can't even pull XPY out of zencloud without a problem... what a big mess. Looks like there are XPY amount limitation triggers that freeze the withdrawal for up to 24 hours. So customers are getting screwed if they wanted to sell quickly before XPY completely drops like a rock.
