There was talk of people having their emails hacked as well. Seems some were using TOR to create accounts. Plenty of discussion over here :- https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=23964.0;topicseen(Sorry suchmoon - important to get out, know how some seem to overreact to this subject) Next pump at the weekend to grab kids Christmas money? No need to apologize - plenty of GAW customers (former and current) put their money into LTCG. Reality check on that is very much on topic here I think. I hope it'll work out but I fear it won't.

blackwavelabs homepage/servers under severe DDOS attacks. certainly just coincidence....
Now that's funny. So is genesis-mining and apparently nexus miner. Someone posted here a short while ago blaming those two on GAW. There was that whole coinfire incident a short while back as well. Obviously not enough to really blame anything on GAW but the coincidence is somewhat concerning. If there is anything more to go off on who this could possibly be, I would certainly like to know. There's also a supposed hack last week of LTCGear's site where payout addresses were changed. All Btc and Ltc addresses have now been changed on what looks like every account at LTCgear. Might be Chris working on it mind. Have had no problems with payouts from them but my addresses were replaced as well. Looks like Genesis and Blackwave labs are back up, wonder if it was at the same time I just logged in and saw that. I seriously don't understand why Chris did not tell everyone, via email and/or announcement on the site, that they were all changed and you have to update them? Thanks for ltcgear heads up.

"a fool and their money are soon parted." - Aesop. * raskul feels his heart sink. Wow, I guess you guys are jealous that you didn't get to make the money. When I was renting is was costing me about 20 XPY an hour to mine over 30 XPY. It was a good deal. I made money and the rig owner made money, what could be wrong with that!

Someone tell that Redacted douche-bag that NOTHING was verified by the Wall Street Journal. A WSJ blogger does NOT equal the WSJ. He's either illiterate about mining or just plain out lying to the forum audience. How is disclosing a mining address a risk of hacking? Besides the WSJ verified address is almost certainly known already (1P62VZZ9kL97dzzcWhG7JZDssaW2MDgn82), it's the actual address for newly generated coins that is not known. I can answer your address question from Josh's previous answers to this same question - no you may not see them. The Wall Street Journal did a third party verification of their wallet addresses and balances. This is as good as it is ever likely going to be, and if I had hundreds of millions of dollars invested in a project, I'm certainly not going to hang a "hack here" sign out on where it's being kept. And this "staff" dude... wow. maursader maursader Admin GAW Staff Industry Innovator Account is newly made, through a proxy. Someone's trying to hide something, OP? That's what you would call FUD I guess https://archive.today/l0WtF

Someone tell that Redacted douche-bag that NOTHING was verified by the Wall Street Journal. A WSJ blogger does NOT equal the WSJ. If GAW/Paycoin was a $100,000,000 venture it would definitely be in the actual Wall Street Journal, most likely with at least a front page lead if not a front fold spot. The fact that it isn't should be yet another red flag, but the heap of red flags with this obvious scam is so immense now that it is turning into a mountain, and those that still can't see it probably will not until this thing starts going the way that logic, mathematics, and history predict it will.

I have no idea how proof of stake works, so if I'm not making sense let me know, but Is it possible to show on the blockhain that the rewards from staking are freshly created as opposed to coins from elsewhere being moved around?
If yes, why doesn't GAW or one of the people staking coins show us that proof. It wouldn't prove they aren't a scam, but it seems to me like a simple way to prove that something they are saying/doing is legit, which could help calm some nerves.

dekay sold his scam coins after the coin-swap nightmare @ .0044 moneys safe at btc-e.com away from homeros hands my roi is decent LMFAO Love the name and glad you did well on scamcoin. Its funny the blackcoin site got a DDOS, I have said it many times of other sites getting DDOS'd after exposing gaw, it started with nicehash then multipool and many others followed. The sites were getting DDOS'd but after exposing gaw, the attacks were more often. Maybe a coincidence hey? I wish more people would speak out about this and what they think about GAW (I think they will do this when its done but I think that is too late), Gavin did and was maybe one of the 1st people to do this. I was not crazy about Bryce but I must say 1: he does know his shit about coins/programming 2: glad he is speaking out about what he sees going on here. Happy Holidays Everyone! PS Are the radar jammers sold out? I wanted to buy a couple as gifts for some friends

Yes, it could be traced, and no, it won't be. Even officially the 400% APY is not coming from staking, or not from staking alone, just like ZenPool used to be. It's sort of a profit sharing thing, and if I put on that comfy tinfoil hat I could probably come up with a few reasons why.
