i have build from source on ubuntu 14.04 , the qt binary gets compiled ok i think, but it segfaults on startup (the gui flashes a short moment, then segfault).
already tried with fresh .bitcredit directory as well - same problem.
any suggestions?
edit: nothing in debug.log either. bitcreditd and cli binary seem to work btw
trying now myself To me, it's working. Compiled from source https://github.com/bitcreditscc/bicreditsnew. Check the deps from here: http://bitcredit.wikia.com/wiki/How_to_Compile_BitcreditGo to ~/.bitcredit, backup your wallet.dat and peers.dat, delete everything else, start the wallet and wait till it's sync. Return with a working/not working status. Must have been some dependancy problem, compiled on another computer and copied over the binaries to my own pc, works fine now. The wiki was helpful, thanks.

Edit: Ok, succesfully updated to the new client. Does this mean that 0.30.16.4b is not OK to use?

Working Nodes: addnode "91.230.123.101:9999" add addnode "91.230.123.101:8877" add
Thanks, that got me to block 85002, 13hrs behind, but I am stuck there. No bitcredit client has ever connected to more than 1 peer for me. Currently getpeerinfo shows only 91.230.123.101:9999.

Still on 85002 though which seems to be taking a godawful time to move. The block explorer in the OP is frozen at 85020 and must be on some other fork, and the qt client thinks I'm 14 hrs behind, so I was a bit confused. Heh, qt has just crashed with: === Bitcredit Client === Is (85003) a grant block? : Yes === Bitcredit Client === Is (85003) a grant block? : Yes === Grant Database Block Height -1 === === Bitcredit Client: Making sure that Grant Database is up to date. === === Required Height of Database: 85001, Height requested from: 85003 === === Bitcredit Client === De-Serialize Grant Info Database Max Blocks Wanted: 85001 Could not load Grant Info Database from /home/stu/.bitcredit/blocks/grantdb.dat, Max Wanted: 85001 === Bitcredit Client === Processing the Next Block into the Grant Database for Block: 0 Segmentation fault (core dumped)

Hmm, just made a bittrex withdrawal and it's been showing on their site as completed for 12 blocks but hasn't showed up locally. Usually I get them almost instantly.

bittrex is syncing only with p2pool.website, and that is offline. So till the Dev doesn't power up ... will be no withdraw/deposits working https://bittrex.com/Status

I have contacted Bittrex and asked them to add a few nodes as provided by dragos_bdi, but I doubt they will pay any attention to me.
A node is just a daemon running on an accessible IP right? I'll see about sticking a few on some DRK masternodes, they are up permanently.
