The motorcycle was material possession I wanted, and still want, but I had to realize it wasn't, and still isn't my priority. The hookah lounge was clearly not destined to happen, at this time, for it would consume too much energy and time from guitar, with all the legal malarkey associated with business.
We shall.
When it finally dawns on him just how much logistics and "legal malarkey" is involved in a Woodstock sized, 1m participant filled event, it's going to be cute. He's still at the "Derp! I don't need insurance!" stage. This is going to be good. Child, launching a sheesha place is going to look like a walk in the park once you realize that simply contracting with a few major bands is already quite an ordeal. As it stands, I now have about $4200 in monies, thanks to two donating parties.
Called mom and dad? Or pawned something? Exponential growth, repentance, not linear.
The only thing exponential is your debt ratio...

You mean like karma made your motorcycle happen? And your hookah lounge? It takes action to turn ideas into reality.
Not to spoil the fun too much, but action is the literal translation of karma. How it's being used in this thread is a bastardized version of "something out there, God, the Universe, SOMETHING, will help me but I don't know what, I just have faith, through no actual effort or responsibility of my own" typical among people who haven't yet realized that all actions are interpreted by perspective. How do I know this? Because I passed the Mensa test and paid for a years membership. (sorry, been reading the thread and lol'ed at the IQ bit).

It's called donations. When people see something in a cause they support, they often donate. Thank you, by the way, whoever may have sent that last donation. Don't know what to say about it, much appreciated.
Your graphs are very inaccurate, fgervais, no one is defaulting, I'm about to return #0004's deposit early, tomorrow.
Wait a minute. Are you paying back #0004's loan from donations you received for the music festival? I think you should open a donation address purely for the music festival fund so that people can direct their donations for that specific purpose rather than having to wonder whether you're going to spend festival funds on personal expenses.

All I can say is that this is Bitcoin. I don't believe it until I see six confirmations.

Personally I call shenanigans, dank has had a couple of mystery large deposits the first time round people were calling bullshit on his "bank". No evidence was ever produced that these happened at all other than on his imagination and horribly built balance sheets. Also note that without this sudden 4.2k his financials were looking bad, and I still expect plenty of drama if any of his current deposits are real, probably a repeat of the whole "derp! can't do the fiat to BTC conversion fast enough, stop being greedy and ask for your money on the agreed upon date" shit last time he took out a large loan. None of the addresses I know belonging to him have any significant cash on hand.

Is it a ponzi that is using donations from idea to idea instead of new depositors?

If he doesn't know who may have sent "that last donation" referred to above, then presumably it was sent to the address in his sig and should show up in the history for that address. I'm not willing to believe anything dank says about how much he's received in donations unless he gives the transaction details because pretending you already have financial support in order to get other people on board is one of the oldest cons in the book.

Karma has made it happen so far. So if it's anything like the past, yes it will.
Don't answer questions with spirituality? Why? Spirituality is a very valid subject that you can't seem to debase.
Every idea ever started as a thought, it manifests into our reality, with time hard work and commitment. You don't have to explain ideas out for them to come true.
FTFY.

FTFY. And a good thing you did too, given that dank believes time is only an illusion.

That's quite a statement to make, there's only one reality? There is only one true reality, but there are infinite alternate realities our consciousness has created. Life is one of them.
Dreams our consciousness creates are not reality. What you think (imagine) inside your mind is not reality. I've told you this before, but you seem to have forgotten. Reality is the state of things as they actually exist, rather than as they may appear or might be imagined.Let's go back to quantum physics, the part where particles change into waves in the absence of a conscious observer. Dreams are just as real as life, life is but a dream. Have you ever taken a college physics class, let alone a quantum physics or quantum chemistry class (they teach the same thing from different perspectives)? In quantum mechanics, a particle does not change into a wave and vice verse, the object just is. The object shares properties of both a particle and a wave, at the same time. This whole thing about "the electron acts as a particle now, but then changes to a wave" is just hand-waving abstraction to help high schoolers try to grasp something very complex.

Shut the front door! Do you believe that running a million plus concert will not take energy and time away from guitar, and does not have "malarkey" associated with it?

$4200 is a nice number for a pothead. (420) Link the blockchain transaction or it didn't happen.

Don't know where to start.
Hunter, karma is the basis of the universe/god, I do know what it is. This idea that I don't put out any hard work is getting old, you all simply have no clue how much work I put into a day.
The two donations were for me, not the music festival, obviously. This money is not in BTC yet, but it will be. Funny how BTC dropped down to $11, right before I needed to buy lots of BTC. Couldn't be karma though, nah...
mlawrence, organizing an event is different than doing it all yourself. It will be a united effort that interested people will likely volunteer for. Legal malarkey is not natural, it's not needed, it's wanted.
What would have come out of me had I gone to college? Let's see, getting wasted, partying, sacrificing all of my energy to college for four years instead of harnessing it the way I feel is best. Yeah, I'll pass on college.

It's a good thing that all those people needing to sell BTC to pay bills were such assholes in their previous lives, and that your karma was much stronger than theirs.

I would love to donate a significant sum to support Winter Jam at Dankins Glen 2012. Dank, could you please explain the donation process?

I've already explained that if everything effects everything, karma would naturally exist, as if you love your neighbor, they'll more likely love back to you or someone else that may show love to you. You can believe what you wish. Karma has proven it's existence in my life, and many others I know, already.
Rarity, I have an address in my sig, I don't expect anything to show up from you, though.
