What about that huge announcement you are planning? Amazon accepting PayCon at 20$ Soontm?
Jokes aside, do you guys have a plan how to survive post paycoin phase? I mean when Homero is jailed, Paycoin worth 1 doge etc?

Well, PayCon brings the fun back to Crypto and by having no plans and no rules you build according to how the market conditions change over time, leaving everything on the table for a change is undoubtedly the best way to go, I have never had so much fun and inspiration. There is still so much to do that it wouldn't matter if PayCoin was not around, it would still be the legit Coin pretending to be a scam, parodied from a scam pretending to be legit lol

Survival is about adoption but not only that, it's about having a use such as having our own marketplace where users can trade their items or to host events. In regards to the tech itself, it becomes about security, anonymity, storage and CPU usage, it should take no power to run and virtually no space to hold the Blockchain with everything managed by the user itself.

Is it too late to get in btw? Or there will be more increased staking in future? And what about the price - should it be cheaper next week? Or should I buy now or there is no difference cause its incalculated already...
Anyone remember a price before increased staking? I know, I know- too lazy to research... Tongue

Jan 26th when the new OP was launched, PayCon was worth 200 Satoshi's and it's worth 800 Satoshi now but there are also approximately 150% more Coins but assuming an average Staking activity of 60% I would say on average if you were consistently Staking you would have 2.5-3 times as many Coins.

I would estimate that Coins are worth 10 times as much.

I think we are pushing the limits of how much you can Stake, if we achieved $5 a Coin then there would be 215k of sell pressure a day and the fee on transactions would be 25 cents, If you increased the Stake rate then you also increase the amount of sell pressure. Fees on the other hand also would play a big role, at higher worth you would also have larger amounts from Fees (which is what the Optimus Prime Flux Capacitors simulate).

I still have a question about staking is it LIFO (last in first out) or FIFO (first in first out) based.
I mean if let's say I got 1000 coins and buy 100 more and then sell 100 after some hours - have I sold the first coins from that 1000 or the same 100 coins that just moved in.
Can't wait to begin staking (got some coins already) Cool

Those blocks should stake very quickly once they mature. Two or three days ago, I would have said to make them smaller(1000-2000). However with Superstake week coming to an end in a couple days, your larger blocks may be better, to get a chance for a Superblock. They will split into two equal blocks when they stake.
I think right now, that blocks of 1000-1500, are probably the most efficient, although smaller blocks still stake within a reasonable time frame.
As an example, I have a wallet with about 20,000CON, all blocks of 500. The oldest block is about  4.4 days old. This wallet stakes about 12 times per day.

The wallet is set up so that it sends out coins from the block with the least weight(LIFO), however when I send, I use coin control to be sure that I'm using the coins from the block that makes the most sense for the situation. Sometimes it's better to use a block that is a little older, but the right size for what I'm sending. It usually doesn't make all that much difference(a fraction of a day), but if the youngest block isn't large enough for what you are sending, it may pull from another older block anyway. So I will just use the older block, so as to not reset the age of the younger block as well.

Crestington has a nice explanation of coin control in the OP

That's a decision you would have to make for yourself. You could also make a few blocks of different sizes,500 1000 1500 2000 4000. That would give you a chance to score a superblock before the time runs out, but also set up a few blocks to stake at a more efficient level.
If you move the coins into different blocks, the coin age will reset, and they will need 2 days to mature again.

Oops,

Well I guess cat's out of the bag, OP needs time.

A verse from the book of GAWD should explain nicely.

Quote
The Sixth Day: PayCon on Land

Then Gawd said, "Let Us make PayCon in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." Gawd created PayCon in His own image, in the image of Gawd He created him; male and female He created them. GAWD blessed them; and GAWD said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth."…

The Seventh Day: Gawd Rests
Thus the heavens and the earth were completed, and all their hosts. By the seventh day Gawd completed His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. Then Gawd blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which Gawd had created and made.
