Just because you aren't selling it doesn't mean it is without value.

Then if you take into account the demand of the secondary market you could very well get $15 - $20 for the coin with the right buyer, maybe more.

But advantage for those who support a long-term plans of the Company.
It is a gift for loyalty.

I'm sorry AmberDev, but, you don't get use words like "loyalty" when you advertise and entice investments and
the terms are then altered when it requires investment from AmberTrade LTD. If AmberTrade LTD had to borrow money to pay investors,
that can be nothing but a HORRIBLE business plan which you've made no comments regarding. If there is any implied "disloyalty" it's due
to AmberTrade's actions, not investors wanting fair and just compensations for their investments.

That said, we investors are all in this for the long term now. Or "loyalty" has been purchased by the current market conditions.
I'll be re-upping my investment back into AMBER and will be more vocal than ever.
But, my investment will not be more than the minimum required and all staked coins will be sold to help defray losses.
I encourage other investors to do the same.

I'll also be creating a free mining pool and block explorer so we investors/miners can have some influence on the heath of the blockchain.

Usually AMBERs were sent here - Ae5wdACKY9fG6ujhDScCYyz8BpWVtF37nJ - Amber Trade's address on C-Cex.
In BlockExplorer its current balance 0 but it contains AMBER.
This is due to the way exchange works.

I don't really get the incessant whining. There's nothing wrong with being a cautious investor and that side has a few valid points/questions, but saying the same things over and over again add nothing to this topic. When Ambercoin first offered to get paid Q3 dividends in Amber I did consider that options as I wouldn't mind increasing my share of Amber. I ultimately didn't go that route partially because time ran out and partially because it's a pain/expensive to get a hold of bitcoin of which I'm pretty much out of. I opted not to vote when they presented us that option because I was pretty neutral on the outcome(and partially because there was a clear winner where my vote wouldn't have mattered). I wouldn't have minded the btc and I think it would have helped with the wavering support of many Ambercoin holders, but assuming Q4 dividends are not too far away and are paid in btc then that will result in about the same. As to regards the silver coin(which I wish I would have taken part in the first offer so I could have gotten one); these are something we already knew they already had made. It's not like they paid $3,000 to make coins just to reward those few, and as they said a couple of times it played no part in the voting.

c-cex wallet address are very confusing for me.  I checked my own account which I recently sent a good portion to this address then emptied it and sent 10K back to my registered wallet.  However on the block chain my address for C-cex still shows the full amount in and no transactions ever sent out.  And for some strange reason it is still staking.  Which yours did too.  I'm not holding that against DEV because c-cex may just keep the staking coins.  I'm confused with c-cex.

The DEV's address however shows in and out and staking.  So I don't know what to make of this at this point.

I emailed c-cex to ask them how their Amber wallet addresses work but so far haven't got a satisfactory answer.  I'll keep you guys posted.  I am hoping I don't find anything suspicious.  

However my registered wallet received 10K coins from some random address owned by c-cex I assume and not the wallet address I have access to on c-cex.  I don't believe you can send from the address you deposit coins into on c-cex.  Unless you have some other arrangement with them since you are the DEV.

have you ever looked at btc transactions and transfers on your exchange addresses? they never match up either. i don't get their internal accounting methods, but it is like that at most exchanges i've traded at. i did notice c-cex stakes, but hey can't blame them honestly.

Here is a very easy test to see if the voting was legit.....

I would like to ask ONE shareholder other than Alpinist (for reasons already stated) to come forward that voted to be paid in Ambercoin over btc. That should be easy since according to voting results there were many shareholders that voted to be paid in Ambercoin over BTC, right?

If ONE real person can come on here and explain your reasoning for voting to be paid in Amber over btc, I will shut my mouth.

In order to qualify for this challenge, you have to have a bitcointalk account with a history that proves you are a real person and not a shill account.

I am predicting that not one person will step forward (OTHER than Alpinist) because i do not think there is one legit shareholder that voted to be paid in Ambercoin.

I see here complete misunderstanding of how any exchange works.

The principle is the same for ANY coin.

From the moment someone deposited a couple of coins into exchange there is no relation between a balance of address which you think is yours and a balance displayed in your internal account.

Since EVERY address that exchange generates for ANY customer is just input for their further transactions.
So when somebody asks for transfer out, exchange can send coins from ANY of its inputs.
