Let's wait and see what Q4 2015 and Q1 2016 hold for us if it's a repeat of Q3 then I'd have to call "bullshit" on the integrity of the "company" and the Dev.

You didn't exactly follow proper English rules yourself. Most "negative" comments can't speak proper English either. In fact many made the same mistakes that were specifically pointed out, and while I could be wrong if memory serves some of specific mistakes weren't actually wrong. And as someone else has already said, English isn't many people's first language. |

No offense intended, but if you were following the thread closely you should have seen that Q3 dividends were just paid in Amber instead of BTC. Time and patience will have to wait to see what's in store for Q4 dividends. I think it might help some here to think of Ambertrade as a regular company first with it's own crypto second. While it has been pointed out that regular stock companies only pay out dividends in fiat as opposed to more stock(although you can set up drip), many companies put on hold or cancel dividends all the time. While this can cause distrust in the company and drive stock price down, it is a regular occurrence. It might be helpful to think of they payment in Amber more as a pause of dividends as opposed to a scam. If the company does intend to pause/pay out in Amber until further notice I do think they should make a current note of it on their website, but I don't think they a change in every banner they have on the internet is necessary is this was a one quarter exception. We'll still have to wait to find out if that is the case. |

Apploud you for that, wish i could write proper english that well (w/o auto correct) How can i think of a regular company after all what happend? No money for paying 43k dividends then coming out with a shady fixed voting didn´t help ether. I´ve seen so many scams (yeah even "companys" with nice offices and attending fairs , shows and panels) They only were after customers money after all- and then dissapeared. We´ll find out , but only later in this game. As long as they can dump premined coins on us sharehodlers as "dividends" smooth rolling for them. Again, i´m not sure it´s a scam and really hope this thing is legit and it´s trading on the New York Stock exchange for a handfull of dollars per share "soon". I guess cryptsy can be removed as exchange (amber wallet was not working for months anyway there) . They are bancrupt or exit scam "hackers stole all money" or whatever happend. Good Luck to us  |

I'm doubting a q4 amber vote would win... 10¢ would be the price range, thus half the bargain the q3 decision was. I think DEV said the 27th final figures would be released, no clue what will transpire from there.

Moreover, now it clear, that dividends are not covered by investment protection. It's no reason to choose Ambercoin now. Better set a buy wall or do a private buy for half of the price. |

I recently had all of my Ambercoins stolen and thought I was out of the game for sure. I received my dividend in Ambercoin and now I am back in the game. I guess it can be seen as a negative however I am looking at it as a positive because now I am staking again. :-) I hope we get BTC again some day.

LOL that's exactly how I feel Pokey. I dumped Amber like crazy but now I have 35k Amber from dividends and am staking so fuck it....might as well be a supporter again haha. But yes, I do hope future payouts will be in btc (obviously). |

Interesting random note... I started crunching figures to see if amber coin would run over the stated 49 million. Even if amber trade started staking the company wallet today we won't clear over 46 million at current pos %. Since only around 1/3 of the current 43.1 million coins are staking or eligible it will likely be lower than 45 million. These figures do not reflect POW coins, which won't be much at 0.5, and I just compounded interest daily at the stated pos rates.
