Okay in case you are not trolling I will explain it to you in really simple words that even a toddler could understand.
There were 2 ways to get agoras token. The first way was buying at bittrex at around 30 cents. Do you understand that? Buying coins from other people who are selling them to you on an exchange called bittrex.
The second way to get the tokens was buying them from ohad at a rate between 16 and 37 cents depending on the discount rate.

What was happening? A lot of people bought from Ohad instead from the market (Bittrex) because they could get a lot more coins for the same price. Ohad was very busy answering all mails and transfering the coins and things like that. This disrupted him from working on the project. To stop this issue he decided to raise the price at x10. So that the new prices of ohads coin were between 1.6-3.7 dollar. This would take pressure from buying from ohad because why would you buy at 3 dollar when you can have them for 30 cents and ohad could focus on the project itself again.

This does not mean that the market price would automatically rise to 3 dollar too, because the free market price (still bittrex) is depending on supply and demand, not on ohads price increase. The only reason he did the increase was to switch the buy pressure from him to the free market.

This is yet the best simple and true explanation to the steps taken by Ohad and team regarding the coin sale issues.

For these of you who may be new to the ICO market and think that the standard set by latest ICO is the thing to look for and follow, allow me to educate you a bit:
1. A nice website is a must because there is no real product or history to show for the money they ask for
2. A celebrity adviser or a celebrity team member is a must because most potential investors have no clue regarding the technology and can not understand the whitepaper.
3. A centralized company structure is a must to make it look good for investors who are used to this structure and know nothing abut "decentralized".
4. Very strong present in the community's social platforms and forums is as marketing tool that is most effective thus become the main activity of the ICO .

Now imagine the  price of Agoras once the revised whitepaper will be out, the website upgraded, community celebrity endorsements, hype on community social platform. All that and a brilliant and experienced blockchain developer, who have been working on the groundbreaking product for three years and is an honest guy backed by a truly honest team.

....And a note for the troll on the thread... if you are smart enough to get what I just say you will keep trolling to try and get the price down. only that now I might join the game and believe me I am a much much better troll than you are, I will eat you alive or better use you you to make me (my Agoras) worth more. but only if Ohad will be fine with it since it will take some time to get the less smart investors understand, and also since I still do care about friends more then about money. In fact I believe that the entire ecosystem will soon realize that friends are best investment ever....but only once reputation will go on blockchain ... very exciting time we live in...

the guy has 90% of all coins and the total suply is uncapped, he made no real developments other  the funding scheme and his site looks like its from 20 years ago and hasnt been updated for a year... Clearly holding 90% of coins and having infinite supply and having your friends hype up the sale and then just use the infinite coins to pump and dump and then  distance yourself from any responsibility saying it was someone else hyping.....  you guys are freaking blind.
2 and a half years and nothing to show for, if someone was working hard on project they wouldnt let themselves have bad site like that and why did he not say that it was not true about promised increase and burning of unused coins during the hype period if he cared about the project and investment... notice he  picks and chooses his replies too.

For the people yelling out scam this and that, because of the lack of an decent website or updated whitepaper. You are all suffering from a mental disease. I am not saying or validating any of the promises made by ohad, but just calling out bullshit on the arguments used. Cause if you believe having a decent website and good looking white paper is anywhere near a (reliable) product. Then you should not have any problem with throwing all your life savings at the majority of the cryptocurrencie's out there with a updated white paper and a 'cool' looking website.

As it is, those people that see the potential of an economy based on what Ohad describes as a kind of "magic notepad on which you can only write the truth" have the opportunity to go to Bittrex and buy Agoras at a market cap that's still a fraction of the market cap of Tezos.

I chose to buy some locked tokens in this tentative sale. I know Ohad might never deliver, in which case they will be worth nothing. But I think there's a good chance that he'll deliver -- eventually -- and that my purchase will prove to be the best investment I ever made.

its been said a few times before but let me make this very clear: Ohad did not create a pump the pump was created by the fact that he acknowledged his potential investors and current investors in change of policy regarding the direct token sale. The market reacted, Some due to confusion and some just because it made sense! End of story.

But that is not the issue here, the issue is the troll that create confusion regarding the facts and try very hard to present the tauchain project as a scam and Ohad as a scammer.

We all would like to keep ignoring our troll but if he will take so much space in the thread it will have an effect on the people who come to learn and invest in the project. So I think that we as a community of the project have no choice but to be a bit more vocal and active here and put our weight on the right side, comment here and provide helpful information to free Ohad to do his work.

Investors In this new ICO ecosystem should consider these two different approaches. 1. Go with the big hyped well campaigned (often half true) project, and be an investor in an extreme over valued project with millions of over valued tokens to be somehow use in a project that have no product yet. or 2. Go with the smaller crowed on a poorly campaigned project with long track record of work with great premises, honest people, small but dedicated team and one most knowledgeable and able blockchain developer, which is committed totally to the project.
