Yes a lot of users now are adopting and treating bitcoin as their secondary currency aside from their national currency but i don't think they will succeed in pushing bitcoin as global currency because that is impossible for bitcoin to be the global currency if there are fiat moneys that all around the globe and there are government who can try to prevent that. |

Yes a lot of users now are adopting and treating bitcoin as their secondary currency aside from their national currency but i don't think they will succeed in pushing bitcoin as global currency because that is impossible for bitcoin to be the global currency if there are fiat moneys that all around the globe and there are government who can try to prevent that. Even if a lot of users use Bitcoin as their secondary currency I don't think they use it for transaction purposes but mainly in trading purposes. Because there is really no options for them to use in the real world only a few businesses accept Bitcoin as a form of payment. For it to be a global currency in needs to be similar to Fiat in which it can be use anywhere not only for trading. |

This will never happen. Bitcoin already spread around the world and that the bitcoin have used by a lot of the people. The possible thing to make the bitcoin dying caused by the internal problem of bitcoin itself. Every bitcoin has held by his owner. So, the bitcoin will still alive. This will not happen because until now exchange rate of bitcoin was still growing UP, also bitcoin was now introduce into the market to known as one of the online currency used. bitcoin was still healthy and competitive to the online currency.

People who are saying that bitcoin is dead I think they should have a look at the price charts of bitcoins and they will get answer for their question and with that price we cannot consider bitcoin as a dead and it will keep on growing in coming years too so I don't think that we will ever see bitcoin as a dead currency.

I used to think like you, that price is all that we need for bitcoin to bloom, but see what is happening with Bitcoin now: high fees, long confirmation, low tx capacity. If we wait a year or two with upgrading protocol Ethereum or even Litecoin might take Bitcoin's place on top of the cryptocurrency food chain. Bitcoin Unlimited hostile takeover which could crash price is a possible eventuality too. |
