If bitcoin was dead then why would you post this on a forum dedicated to bitcoin unless you thought nobody would answer. Bitcoin is most defiantly not dead and is in fact rising in popularity.
I think this thread was made by the OP the time where bitcoin's price is dumping a lot losing their investments not having any profits, that is why they are saying that bitcoin is dead. Now bitcoin is so popular and still gaining it's price.

Bitcoin is not dead because if its dead then this forum will be gone also and a lot of people now are selling their bitcoins in the market and just migrating to another coin which is not happening so it is understandable that bitcoin is not dead and it is still alive and kickin' in the market.

short answer no, just a little crisis due to the price being low/many lost huge amount of money because they bought at the peak, taxes being a problem, and other small stuff
just a despair phase that is very long apparently
No bitcoin is not dead eventhough bitcoins price sometimes decrease it's not the big reason that bitcoin would be dead even bitcoin is not accepted by the government. There are no exact answer or situation that bitcoin would be dead.

I don't see why this thread is still alive. The original post was posted over 2 years ago at a time bitcoin was on a decline. It is obviously far from dead now.

There are no exact answer or situation that bitcoin would be dead. Government does not really play any role in operation of bitcoins. So yes they would not affect bitcoins deadly quest. Moreover, bitcoin is popularly known as decentralised currency that is for the same reason you said, government doesn't affect it. Bitcoin will not be dead, it will fall in value but Im pretty sure it will rise again like lightening fast due to its popularity. There are huge bitcoin farms in the world which keeps bitcoin pumping into market. So saying bitcoin dead is really obsolete statement.

Some people enliven this topic every time the bitcoin price goes down by a few hundred dollars. Beginners begin to panic and write on this topic. If bitcoin will exist for 20 years, then this thread too

There's the kernel of an idea in there. Perhaps every author who achieves a listing in there with a declaration of death should receive a crowdfunded 0.05 BTC just to piss them off when they bin it and check the price in a couple of years.

Better will be for someone to assign 1 address to each author and don't give the priv key to the author ... just throw it away ... and let the author know that there are his BTC )) I would love to see their faces when they find out they have 50.000$ and can't spend them.

Of course not, bitcoin is not dead and for me it will change the world for better future, and those who says it's dead I would strongly tell them to stop that speculations they only wanted price to be lowered so that they will buy it cheaper. Bitcoin will become a world history currency and will be a stable currency in the future years and more technology will be developed because digital currency is a sustainable sources of money.

And that will never happen in future as even internet will keep on improving and advancing in future and there is no chance that internet will be dead as now almost everything depends on internet.

Are you really sure that you are asking if bitcoin can continue to survive? Even without those legalization or anything with the government bitcoin is at is. It didn't change a bit but it's price is keep on changing because of the market of it gets higher day by day depending on the demand. And right now the demand get's higher because of those new countries that started to adopt it.

It may be a possibility, but from what we can say based on the users, we can't say that it may end up that easily because there are a lot of bitcoin users in the world, and many still are willing to accept bitcoin and use them. It may not be accepted right now, but it might bw in the future as what Japan did.

Bitcoin is survivor because verydump of the price they will have pump and the price now is $1500 and thats so amazing. Yes in the online world everything have possible to happen even bitcoin become dead in the future but I dont know what the exact date but I think 2 decades more bitcoin will live in this online. And I hope bitcoin will live long more decades so we can help more people to earn money online.

Correct, we are now facing to digital world and internet is a must to have it. and bitcoin would not be going dead in the future and also i think no one will hate bitcoin because of the great value of this coin. By continuous believing in bitcoin will make us rich in the future but not only believing we just work for it.

I don't even believe in that non sense that bitcoin is dead ? It has been a few years they said that ! But it didn't came true because there is no big reason that bitcoin can be possibly dead even it is not accepted by the government, bitcoin cannot be dead.
