nobody knows what the fuck is going on.
we can only guess, and in this climate, that is not a good thing...
really, my purpose behind stirring the pot and pronouncing outrage is to hopefully smoke the FC out of hiding. light a fire that he feels he should come out to quash. But that even doesn't seem to get the faintest reaction from HQ.
these Chinese... so inscrutable.

Friedcat has made the moves of someone who wants to succeed in China. His business model reflects that in his dedication first to customers and last to shareholders. That said, it seems like failure or infighting is likely the cause of distress within the company. Give it some time and we will hear the truth eventually. Interesting times.

I couldn't get a hold of friedcat for a couple months around the same time last year, so it's not uncharacteristic of him to disappear around the holiday(or when he's working on a new chip...). Perhaps he likes to spend a few weeks in the wilderness or maybe he's hunkered down working on BE300. I don't have any insider knowledge of AM's structure or financial health, but I would be really surprised if he abandoned the company.

The Announcement of AMHash Dividends Suspending

Dear customers,

We are very sorry to inform you that we have to continue to delay AMHash’s dividends,as we haven't received the payment from ASICMINER since 8th Feb,we are trying to communication with ASICMINER for this issue :

1. Dividends will be restarted in 24 hours as soon as ASICMINER sending us BTCs.

2. Dividends will be paid from 8th Feb and all missing dividends will be included if we get the payment.

3. Trading of AMHash1 on HAVELOCK will also be suspended until the dividends restart.

4. Any third-party platform collapse will be handled in the same way as hashie.co, AMHash will complete the hashrates transferring and subsequent dividends.

We are still in active communication with ASICMINER, please be patient, and we will update in time if we get any new information.

AMHash Team

Perhaps this is what Canary was referring to? What AMhash means by "in active communication" is uncertain to me given there is a slight language barrier. I hope it means they are actively speaking to each other right now opposed to AMhash actively trying to get a response out of AM and FriedCat.

Given the first line, ",we are trying to communication with ASICMINER for this issue", I say they havent been able to talk to FC, otherwise they should have something more tangible to say on when, what or why.

Im not gonna pretend having any clue as to whats going on, but to me any plausible theory would have to explain havelock's suspension too. Something like friedcat selling the company and there being discussions about the impact on shareholder structure or the legality of that construction.

As for Dhenson, I remember him mostly from Cryptx petamine that he claimed he kept buying while it began crumbling,  while calling everyone that did first grade math a paid troll.  But soon after he had actually finished unloading his boatload of shares, so when he says its not beyond him to profit from blah blah, he probably means its not beyond him to lie through his teeth to get a better price for his shares.

What irks me the most about this mess is that AM was is the position to succeed all along. They had good chips/hardware, and they had the connections (or could have easily) to deploy in mass (inner Mongolia like every other Chinese manufacturer).

Why does it seem like they just sat on their hands and didn't even make much of an effort? Seems the only problem was extreme incompetence/shit execution. (There could be a more understandable reason, but without any info this is just my best guess.)

Why couldn't they have taken ~half of that 60 PH/s and deployed that in inner Mongolia in July? Why was Bitmain able to completely swallow AM with similarly efficient hardware? If AM was struggling to get any sales, why does it seem like they make no effort to sell?

I'm now starting to seriously wonder if FC was an investor in Bitmain (or created BM like many speculated when it first showed up).

IF FC decides to show up, I really hope that he steps down as CEO and hires someone with business management skills.

/rant

I know that in the past we had countless disputes about this. It wasn't personal and it's in the past now, but I just wanted to say that I respect that you aren't afraid to admit failure even if it's a bit too late. I don't want to nag you with the "I told you so" line, but I am sure that after this experience your nose just got upgraded and in the future you will smell the stench faster and better. Also please take note that I had much fun debating and that I have no fun in other people misery. See you around on your/my next investments Grin

Sad? For raising the same issues as jimmothy more than 6 months ago? For trying to have a reasonable talk about AM's future and about their wet dream of deploying 60PH/s of hashrate while being accused that I'm trying to promote other miners? I don't see it as sad and if people would have paid a little bit more attention they could have more money in their pockets right now. I also don't adhere to your practices of leaving negative feedback to the other companies just like you do, but yet I am the sad one.

You are the really sad one! You are the one that is promoting in his signature obsolete ventures while also being the only one that left negative feedback to a competitor (SP-Tech). AMhash, RM, AM, Havelock are all dead now. You should stop clinging yourself and just let it go.

I'm not above profiting from the paranoia circulating in this thread. If you really want out and think your shares are worthless PM me your offer, I'm buying.  If I don't reply, I'm not interested at your price.

Don't I remember you from somewhere?

I left SP negative feedback because of the way they went about touting for preorders in other manufacturers threads, nothing to do with them being competition., i then even had SP contact me months later asking to delete my feedback if they deleted the feedback they left in retaliation, i said only if they got their little bitch Bicknellski to remove his retaliation feedback would i remove mine, the politely declined, so did i.... but spin it whatever way makes you feel better about yourself  Roll Eyes

ps i did the signature campaign as i thought why the fuck not take 0.1btc a month like most other people seem to do on this forum and i did it only because i think and hope signature campaigns will be banned soon enough, they promote spam..... if you can't beat them..... join them for the time being.......

RM died a few months back and paid investors 50% back from the IPO, which as an investor i was a bit pissed but ultimately  happy with the honesty in a failed venture, you don't see much of that in the bitcoin security circle.  Amhash, Am1, havelock have yet to been seen although i do not have my hopes up for havelock, i have written off the 35btc balance i had in there already.

pss, i didn't even read what you wrote, i just edited to how i see you portraying yourself most of the time.

So you were the first one that left negative feedback for an out of scope reason considering why is the Trust system in place. When you got replied with the same method you were the one that was asking to remove the negative feedback instead of you removing it. Ooookkk...I find this reasoning at least stupid.

ps i did the signature campaign as i thought why the fuck not take 0.1btc a month like most other people seem to do on this forum and i did it only because i think and hope signature campaigns will be banned soon enough, they promote spam..... if you can't beat them..... join them for the time being.......

So for 0.1BTC/month you keep advertising some defunct companies. Even now when AMHash stated that they stopped dividends you still advertise for them for your lousy 0.1BTC/month. I find that to be pretty low for anyone. Call me whatever you want, but at least I am proud to not resort to this kind of stuff. I am sure that more than 95% of the ones that joined my GBs are happy customers. I can't say that about you and your campaign towards AMHash who just defaulted...

At no point did i contact SP to remove any feedback, they contacted me months later, maybe 6 months later and i have PM's to prove that and i don't see how you would know other wise, so piddle on now.....

four words.... Chinese fucking new year. I'll remove the signature next week if it is indeed defunct.

guys - less infighting and more focus please, this goes beyond "i told you so" or "you're a troll". We want to get the current issue addressed. Friedcat put his name / contact out in the past. we have an address. Let's see what we can bring up / out and get some additional context as to what is going on.
