BtcLtcNmc: FC's name has been known for a while.

Regarding the "gifts" to clients and friends, can you please elaborate with your sources and re-post a link to the images? The links you included are to images on your C: hard drive – the internet doesn't work that way.

Academic? In my experience they are very smart guys who actually have very few real world skills and therefore insulate themselves within the cloistered walls of academia
They are usually hopeless businessmen
They can also be perennially surprising
Jury is still out on this AM gimrack
They do hold the lions share of interest in this concern
That says a lot to me
Gung hey fat Choy guise...
But we want our red envelope!

this was originally known and from the beginning i think many advised he bring actual people with business skills onboard

This guy is the keyman in the China bitcoin industry. http://www.8btc.com/qqagent

He's one of the early investors of Asicminer and the one who introduced Rockxie to FC.
In this interview he said he's still holding most of the Asicminer shares.

Yet he's also the CEO of Bitmain (Antminer)!!! That's why these two companies have a
good relationship. FC actually just sent the gifts to Bitmain.

Any thoughts on this article? (It is currently on the front page of r/bitcoin)

https://bitslog.wordpress.com/2015/02/17/faster-sha-256-asics-using-carry-reduced-adders/

I wonder what ASIC optimizations FC is using for BE300.

BE300 should be out in the next couple of weeks. Nothing is wrong, it's just quiet while we wait on the new chips.

Glad to hear, the recent posts made it seem dubious at best. Much great goods and blessings to the holders here.

That means if Bitmain is still there, Asicminer will not disappear!
But it seems like the keyman let these two companies develop
their own business and own technology, cause they didn't share
anything!

Huh, interesting! I remember FC talking about some still unresolved "conflict of interest" half a year ago or so. This could be it. I mean a shareholder heavily invested in two big mining (hardware) companies...

This conflict can be a merit. If both companies have a trouble in their business,
they may cooperate or even merge!

They both have exclusive power-saving technology, if they share each other's tech,
they may become very competitive!!!

Wasn't the conflict of interest discussion in regards to rockxie/rockminer?
