Any good estimates on what the hardware-sales portion of the next dividend will be?

Sadly I'm out.. it was a fun ride, but I'm not a big fan of Friedcats recent decisions.  At one time I viewed him as a superhero, but now I am seeking new ventures.  Thanks for the good times and thicker wallet..

Good luck on new ventures but I don't think being registered for 2 weeks is a long time of course if you were here longer than that good luck

So many people are buying bulk USB miners for resale... Canary doing his JIT sales... now I imagine BTC guild purchased a good amount to handle quick shipments as well.  Canary alone sold over 500 sofar, it will be interesting to see how many sold in the rest of the world...

Div prediction? Lets shoot for .04 again this week... I am feeling lucky!

There's lots of markets, and the price point is much more reasonable now for resellers. Just depends on how many bulk deals has managed to do round the globe this last week. Only time (= friedcat) will know on the volume, plus how many will be included in this week's dividend.

How many USB miners got sold the first time round? What was the profit per unit?

I have just voted on the questions for friedcat. Now I'm offering my opinion out loud - while we all love the high dividends, and have no doubt that the management team have excelled themselves so far, I think it's time that AM increased its transparency. Things like a quarterly earnings report, annual balance sheets and so forth.

Berkshire Hathaway is a good example of a successful company with a no-frills website that contains all the information an investor needs:

http://www.berkshirehathaway.com

I think offering the same level of information to shareholders is a worthwhile and realistic goal for AM.

Berkshire Hathaway is also worth nearly $192 billion dollars.

I would like AM to be worth $192 billion one day.

If AM was worth that each share would have to be worth $480,000,-

We can dream, can't we? Smiley

Friedcat said "more than 4000 USBs sold" a couple weeks back. So a conservative 5000 USBs (or 5000 BTC) tacked on with the mining divs = less than 0.04/share

it's a question if the payments will be processed in time to reach the dividend. So if there were no USB sales counted in it I would guess 0.015 dividend, if the first bit wave of USB miners will make it in time I'm guessing 0.035 per share, exciting times ahead!

Also when the new cheaper blades come out it will be a blast! also the hashrate seems to be coming up from the poor performance in the last day. It's interesting that this has not lowered the price of shares as I thought it would, it seems like the investors really do have faith in friedcat as I do Smiley

Just a friendly reminder: speculation thread is THERE, not here.
Cheers! Smiley

Do not try and bend the spoon. That's impossible. Instead... only try to realize the truth. There is no spoon. Then you'll see, that it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself.

Seeing as how TaT has historically been willing to advertise, and the fact that the add takes you to the havelock PT (by TaT).  It's my assumption that the add is from TaT, not Friedcat.

But still, pretty cool.
