good question, I decided to wait till the div are announced, cause it can cause the price to go eitherway.

Definitely time to pick up some better hardware.  I'll work on replacing out the app server later this week.  That's the second time in the last month or so we've run out of RAM.

Cheers.

guys lets keep this on the low, price is blasting up too much lately, lets think about our dividends too!

how can we keep price low for few dividends of reinvestments? or atleast some time?

lets think!

Anyone serious about trying to contain the rapid price rise should put sell orders on the exchange at a price you consider to be too high. Whatever you do, do not pull those sell orders, sell into them and take the profits.

I've already done this with all my shares (I'm not a big holder though). My first order will hit at BTC6 (I consider any price above 6 to be unreasonably high...bubble territory)

We should have a ASICMiner meet up. We can go too the Cambie and try to get everyone to buy AM shares.

actually i dont think its ever too high, i like when it goes up, but i rather it go up later on, maybe in a few years, maybe later then and if bitcoin is worth way more then it is now,
i rather now the price be lower so this way i can reinvest more of the dividends to more shares, this way in the future when there price will and if they will be higher, i will have collected alot more by then,

It would be *great* for an AM meet-up in China, get to meet friedcat even haha.

Obviously less practical for people based in US / Canada, but anyone in Asia, its a $100 plane ride or so to China.

Sheesh, AM are rich enough, they could lay on free sausage rolls  Grin

Possible but unlikely this week. I would say likely in 2 weeks when we see the sales from blades gone through.

I'm pretty surprised at how many people from Vancouver are on here!  Something that might interest you guys: we're starting The Bitcoin Co-op, our mission to support Bitcoin (in variety of ways) - membership will be open to everyone but we've been meeting at my place (in Kitsilano) every Monday @ 7pm.  I believe there are a few AM shareholders among our group as well, maybe we're so seemingly overrepresented here 'cause Vancouverit'es know how to pick 'em!

feels like if the div is indeed high, then its an better place to hedge against current falling prices in btc, verses changing to fiat, I'd take my chances:)
