i just read FC's history posts (again) and it really seems everything is on track (besides the one month delayed tapeout by the end of march). seriously everything seems ridiculously under control and well planned.
so bear in mind its only been two months since successful tapeout. we passed functionality test the 29th of march. engeneered batch in march, 1st bacth of april sold, may batch in assets (partially?).. also 7x7mm chips may also be in the pipe... overall its really looking great Smiley

My board contact says FC intends to flood market.

Let's see if he succeeds with last years power consumption chips.

So no div in June. Zero div for months now.
Without proper explanation this is a big fu to investors.
This will drive the AM stockprice down.

zero divs for 2 months exactly. and its not like if its common for companies to give divs every weeks. not even in bitcoinland. AM isnt a bottomless money pit. it needs time (& money) to refurbish it, which is exactly what FC is doing while expanding activity and scalling up (but it wont happen in a blink). all this new strategy has been planned and implemented for not even 6 months.. patience patience Smiley

I think those were the most ugly 2 months for AM. They managed to have a full 2 months delay from having chips in hand until they(AM+distributors) managed to get a miner going. Also no divs months so rage from shareholders. The summer is coming!!!

Well this plan is ok. If only it was announced in advance with limited time offer to buyback the shares. Because I think this not what most of the shareholders expected.
But I still prefer this situation to the Bitcoin being regulated and plagued with fiat world restrictions.

...

Can you read?? The May 27th div date was a miscommunication from a board member to the thread. He later corrected it by posting part of the board meeting. FC never set a div date and the aggressive dividends were mentioned by another board member. FC just proposed a split.
...

It wasn't "miscommunication from a board member."  The reason information is issued through quasi-official channels is to allow deniability.

inb4 "tinfoil hat," HashFast used Cypherdoc to much the same effect--he would deliver some good news, it would fail to materialize, and HashFast Amy would come on to say Cypher wasn't authorized to make his claim/misunderstood.  Cypherdoc would apologize.  Worked like a charm.

yea right because hashfast is comparable to AM. they have millions of working chips and payed out millions in weekly divs for more than half a year.  oh and cypherdoc has the same reputation than FC.  Roll Eyes
seriously go take a break, its summer. enjoy it.

As i would also have like to be fully aware of their div payout agenda, i think professional investors that are used to semiconductors industry could have foreseen it from what FC said so far. it became clear that we are in a production and expanding phase. its pretty normal that cash should be restrain for completing that cycle in a healthy manner. but noobs investors (me first) were fooled by their own profit agenda and couldnt interpret the available comments duely, thinking divs first and at all cost. but i aint making the same mistake twice tho as it has cost me half of my investment for now.

still, i maintain that the company is healthy and the potential for surprising investors by the end of summer (in the good way) is huge.

edit:
if you think about it: IPO in june 2012 -> production by the end of 2012 -> sales and shipment by february 2013 -> first divs by april 2013 (right in the bubble) which increased dramatically by summer 2013 (and thus the company's valuation).
this cycle is done and restarted from scratch by november 2013. so here the new production phase started a little later than the previous one (3 to 4 months i'd say since tapeout was succesful by the end of march 2014 instead of november/december 2012). so divs should start over with that same 3 to 4 months delay, which is also quite amazing since they managed to scale up within the same timeframe.

When crumbs questioned the trustworthiness of HashFast and Cypherdoc, he got similar responses.  And you got the analogy confused, Cyperdoc = teh confused board member.

BS man. HF is far from having the same track records than FC/AM. they failed at every step they took since their inception, botching 28nm chips like the fools they are. AM didnt.
