At least nobody here (other than you) is desperate enough to advertise the most obvious ponzi scheme in bitcoin history.

Do you have no shame?

If someone offers good money for a sig campaign and daily payments, why not? People should do their own due diligence about the ads they see in the signatures of other members.

You see absolutely nothing wrong with investing in and advertising a ponzi scheme?

You're preying on financially ignorant/naive idiots which makes you a borderline scammer for perpetuating such an obvious scam which should have never got off the ground to begin with.

Good luck with your scamming.

I have never scammed anybody. If you have a problem with a company that is being advertised in a signature campaign, feel free to post on their threads with your concerns.

How would a spike in btc USD value affect dividends? Would it even?

FC needs to pay his electricity bills. Even if he managed to gain access to cheap electricity, the bills need to be paid. And when the BTC price goes down 25%, we've got 25% less FIAT to pay the bills -> less revenue.

You are scamming by getting paid to endorse a scam. You are either evil or completely stupid. Go post somewhere else please.

I don't think that this is the entirety of AM's mining operation. Granted, it would be about 4 times the gen 1 hash rate, but the new chips are about 30x as fast when it comes to hashing power and almost 10 times as efficient power-consumption-wise!

Other possibilty: Friedcat put little effort into adding gen3 chips to the self-mining operation because gen4 is coming so soon.

If you know that they're running a ponzi scam and will be ripping people off, what makes you think that they won't we ripping you off as well.

Could also very well be! My guess is that FC didn't anticipate the continuing price drop we're currently observing. He has to pay for FIAT spendings with the mining income, after all! If gen 4 is working out great so far, he might very well be focusing on that now.

Depending on the chip sales and the denomination of the currency used, AM might have plenty of fiat to see them through such periods without needing to convert bitcoins at low prices to pay the bills.

I took a break from disseminating information because FC started missing his own deadlines. I can provide information on what's being said, but I cannot create explanations for what's happening and why. That has to come straight from the man - it's his company and his stakeholders after all.

On that front I can say that board members are as much interested in knowing some details about the operation and future projections as anyone else here. However, FC keeps the details of the operation close to his chest. The board is trying to improve the situation for shareholders, but it's a longer term process.

Based on the information provided the gen4 is coming along according to schedule. There will be some time span in which it will be evaluated. However, to put things in perspective any new chips will not move the profit margins too much. Profit margins are mainly a function of BTC price, network power and average upkeep costs. The tech has moved quickly in the last 2 years and is hitting Moore's barrier pretty hard. Main profits will likely come from innovative ways to reduce capex and opex, which not necessarily requires the latest chips.

Oops, Jutarul beat me to the minute Wink

Board members: When is the next meeting?
When is the last time we heard from a board member?

Jutarul is very quiet around here, very strange Undecided maybe he's clueless like us ... Friedcat just doesn't give a shit, "he works for only himself".

a) kind of and b) no.

b) friedcat does not need to 'work for himself' any more - if he did not care about the shareholders, he for sure could step aside and enjoy the life we all seek.

a) we had a board meeting last week. One of the discussed topics was the current information policy and a related consensus that it needs improvements. The search for a dedicated PR person is still active and situation is expected to get way more relaxed once this is settled. What is generally to note is, that there are no news to report as long as there are no news to report. Basically things are progressing as planned, but with the company maturing and being able to follow long-term plans, there is often nothing relevant to report on a weekly (or even monthly) base. Needless to say that in such a competitive business field there is also information not meant for the public (or the board).

Generally, board meetings are company confidential unless otherwise stated. Therefore observing that none from the board is posting in this thread or elsewhere is a combination of 1) there are no relevant news, and 2) if there were, we are not allowed to disclose. This is not because we are careless bastards, but to protect the company, ourselves and shareholders.

For now, please take the fact that the board is pushing for a better transparency for granted and look forward for this to improve mid term.

Thanks for the post Jutarul (and zefir).

When you say "gen4 is coming along according to schedule", can you shed any light regarding what that schedule is? What phase is the design of gen4 chips in? When is "tape out" expected? When are the first samples expected to be received by AM for testing?
