101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Iron Fish rises to become the most profitable PoW coin to mine with your GPU! on: April 27, 2023, 09:44:57 AM
and its dead.  Roll Eyes

Explain!!!!
Because the price drops? Like KDA, ETHW or ETHF or other shitcoins? Yeah really dead 7 days after mainnet start Cheesy
Look at the first days on an exchange for Kaspa - it looks like ironfish at the moment.
And no i donīt care about Ironfish, but FUD is also bad.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: April 26, 2023, 12:35:37 PM
BZminer does not close if i run it in admin mode in some cases. Also not with ctrl+c activated in options.

Missing BZminer stats is solved, it was an failure in BZminer API with specific gpu+driver combinations.

Ironfish dual mining options are missing for: Teamredminer, SRBminer, Rigelminer
Also missing dual mining option is alephium for Rigelminer.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Rigel 1.3.12 - Kaspa and Nexa GPU miner (Nvidia only) on: April 26, 2023, 11:44:11 AM
rigelminer 1.4.4 zil time dont work any more only zil (?) why and what is the problem,

and many many stale schares !!!!!!!

It is working, zil network was offline on 25. april because of the network update for evm 2.0

On which pool you are mining?

rigelminer 1.4.4 zil time dont work any more only zil (?) why and what is the problem,

and many many stale schares !!!!!!!
Mining Zilliqa can be started with almost any coin, check the settings. The new miner Rigel 1.4.4 has a problem with incorrect display of the hashrate and the herominer has the same.
Read the instructions or change the mining pool
https://miningpoolstats.stream/zilliqa

Settings for RTX 3080
--cclock 210
--lock-cclock 1740
--lock-mclock 810
https://t.me/Info4atlanin/9018

You results looks strange. Why you are not using Teamredminer for AMD cards? A 6900xt can get around 20gh depends on the overclocking. And why hiveos always show 1000mh for your gpuīs? For me rigel1.4.4 show the correct hashrate!
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can someone pleasee tell me wth im doing wrong on: April 25, 2023, 12:49:26 PM
i was wondering about that too but all the pools are still up and i see other people on them actively mining as well but i guess that doesn't mean anything?

They mining cpuchain with profitswitcher i think and get paid in BTC like me. No one is really mining to your own wallet.

What pool you are using? Do you check the outgoing transactions? You checkt in cpuchain explorer? Your wallet is synced? Give us more, i mean how should we help = "i get no payouts why?"
So how should we know that without any information?

Are you sure the project is still alive? the website does not work!!

I looked at Twitter and reddit  didn't see any conversations for three years!!!
https://www.reddit.com/r/CPUchain/

CPU Coin has also been removed from all exchanges because it is dead!!!

It is not removed from all exchanges - you have xeggex and altmarkets online - but as described - only mining with direct swapping into btc or usdt or what you want - use zergpool.

105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: how fast do you earn ETH by staking? on: April 24, 2023, 11:26:17 AM
I have some funds earning ETH on Coinbase at 3.72%. That means if you have 1 ETH sitting on Coinbase for a year, you’ll earn something like $6 worth of ETH per month. Not exactly retirement money but there’s also hope that the value of the ETH will increase giving you a gain and raising the amount of monthly interest you receive from staking.
So far I have earned around 4.2 ETH via staking on Coinbase. I started staking in 2021. I plan on starting multiple solo staking with ETH. I am not interested in trading crypto because of the tax nightmare. I'd rather accumulate more ETH slowly via staking and pay taxes on the interest payouts. I personally am bullish about Ethereum and think it will go well above $10,000 eventually. It might even go to $180,000 - per Cathie Wood. Of course, Bitcoin would be at around $1 million or more. The way I see it the Ethereum supply is 6x the Bitcoin supply so it makes sense for Ethereum to eventually settle at 1/6 of the BTC price.  A fair value ETH price with BTC at $29,000 is around $4,800. Ethereum is currently undervalued compared to Bitcoin. And we can thank Gary Gensler of course for that.

https://ultrasound.money/

Judging by that admission and looking at my interest rate proclamation I would assume that you have around 50 ETH staked then. Certainly a great deal of money and more than most here. That likely earns you around $300 a month in more ETH at current prices, which isn’t bad for doing nothing. I for one am glad to see earning expectations is crypto coming back down to reality.
I staked 40 ETH (Max at the time) in May 2021. Then in February 2022 I added another 28 ETH. So for the past year, I staked 68 ETH on Coinbase. Coinbase takes a 25% admin fee. I have ETH on Binance also but not staking it currently.

I can make more with solo staking but am then responsible for configuration, maintenance, updates, etc. As well as the electrical costs associated with the validator. I already have the hardware and I think the electrical costs should not be too bad. We occasionally lose internet and storm-related power outages once or twice yearly. Not sure if these outages would impact the validators much.

So you have over $100k on an centralized exchange, which can be hacked every time and this for an interest of $7k in 2 years? Not worth the risk  Cheesy

There are much better and safer opportunities.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Iron Fish rises to become the most profitable PoW coin to mine with your GPU! on: April 23, 2023, 01:54:01 AM
Definitely no price manipulation. Looks normal for me for a new coin listing on a small exchange.
Profitability is much higher for me as all other coins, but it will fall in the next days.

LOL $13 get the fuck outta here
This exchange claims that it's worth $13. Never heard of the exchange before, it's my first time hearing about it today, so I don't think I can even trust it  Cheesy
https://safe.trade/trading/ironusdt

Worse still, the chart looks weird. 5 minute chart shows that the coin was worth $100+ at some point today and a low of $1 on the same day. Manipulation?

lol you live behind the moon or what. safetrade is well known and secure exchange, founded 2018 in canada and it is an community driven exchange Cheesy Nothing manipulated
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Rigel 1.3.12 - Kaspa and Nexa GPU miner (Nvidia only) on: April 22, 2023, 11:01:05 PM
rigelminer 1.4.3 vs lolminer 1.74 with ironfisch coin, lolminer is a bit faster than rigelminer 1.4.3 and with rigelminer you also have a lot of stale shares unfortunately, if possible please solve the problem with stale shears please dev

Not really. lolminer use littlebit more power than rigelminer at nearly the same hashrate for me and i have no stale shares since block 0.

@rigelminer

thanks for the new release. works stable and fast
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining SHA256 Coins in 2023 on: April 18, 2023, 02:08:18 PM
I mean i get avalon 1047 for under $100 so why should someone use an s7 these days?
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Was able to snag a 4070 at Best Buy today. on: April 18, 2023, 01:37:28 PM
Every gpu in the photos except the 4070 has done etc+zil at ezil

but this octopus conflux is a bit more than etc+zil

I should try and see if I can do the three.

I mine Conflux 54mh + Kas 400mh + Zil 58mh @ 180w with my 3070 at the moment for some tests. i hope we get more dual algos for conflux like rxd, alephium, ironfish. and for sure, i hope some miner devs keep an eye on conflux, because gminer devfee is to high, but they can take it, because we have no really good other choice.

What pool allows that combo?

I am using some gear on ezil which does etc + zil

Living in USA I have a lot of issues finding exchanges to support coins.

I put my zilla in a wallet it is hard to find a US based exchange that allows trading it.
I put my CFX in a wallet it is hard to find a US based exchange that allows trading it.

If I go Conflux + kas  + zil and use a pool I also will need to figure how to hold or trade those coins.

We are very limited to exchanges and coins in USA.

What pool? You can choose every pool you want, not the pool is the point, choose the right miner - gminer at the moment for cfx+kas+zil. Gminer also has the option to continue mining while it mine zil - you can adjust the dual hashrate in zil windows too. My kaspa hasrate at the zilliqa mining went up from 400mh to 500mh for this short. so you loose nothing on the 2 algo, other miners loosing 3 - 4% mining time if you add Zil (as often explained - zil mining window is overall longer than 1 minute!!!!!)
And why you using ezil for zil? use flexpool or crazypool - a lot higher reward of coins. I know some people fudding flexpool, but the rewards on zmp flexpool for zil is same or higher as crazypool with less mining time. i tested it now for 3 months and checked all every day.
you donīt need a etc+zil pool anymore or for long time.
miner developers added native zil mining option to there miners. Teamredminer can mine 3 coins on 3 different pools at the same time - same for: SRBminer, Rigelminer, BZminer, Gminer, TRM for sure

other good option is ergo+kas/rxd/aleph/iron..... +zil

You cant use Binance or Coinbase for selling your coins? Sorry i donīt know much about the USA law about crypto.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best Exchange To Swap Nexa to USDT TRC20 on: April 18, 2023, 10:54:28 AM
I am currently mining Nexa and finally getting paid out and making a small profit.

I did an exchange on TradeOrge but I can only get USDT ERC20. The fees are way to much to transfer USDT ERC20.

Looking for an exchange that will exchange Nexa to USDT TRC20 to cut down on fees.

Thanks in advance!

Mine on zergpool and get paid direct in btc / eth / flux / usdt / ...... is the shortest and easiest way. Zergpool so underrated here.

112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Kaspa asics on: April 17, 2023, 01:32:34 PM
Core intensive algos like KAS are ASIC friendly, only memory intensive algo are not so friendly if you look at crypto history. FPGAs are making a killing already.
Bitmain can make different ASICs for any algorithm, and E9 Pro confirms this. For any algorithm, a company can make an appropriate ASIC if it sees a benefit in this.
FPGAs in Ethereum mining have not shown good results.

Took a while and didn't have a huge gap in performance until now.

I think fast vrams for asic resistance is over, ASIC manufacturers probably knew how to crack the tech, a combination of core and vram like progpow should do but that didn't took off since it was not used by a huge market cap coin.

Also i think it was also a golden age of gpu vram performance upgrade, is there a huge benefit for a gpu to further improve vram tech for gaming? Hmmm.. Maybe if there is a new tech for future gpus then it will be/should be utilized for ASIC resistance.

Asic resistance does not mean asic proof BTW.
And I heard the opinion that ASIC manufacturers did not make equipment for mining Ethereum, because the team could change the algorithm, as some coins do, to protect themselves from ASICs. The miners demanded to change the algorithm if ASICs appeared, and this was discussed for a long time.

No they donīt build asics in past for ethereum, because they canīt build it and it was expensive and not so easy to build. But after the first Antminer E3 arrived, it was only a question of time.

And no, bitmain canīt build an asic for every algo - see the progpow algo family - it is asic resistance.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Kaspa asics on: April 16, 2023, 02:37:40 PM

The profit is fantastic: KAS KS1 - 540 dollars per day, KAS KS2 - 1080 dollars per day. Why sell this if the payback is less than 1 month?

The profitability will fall very fast. The same happened with DASH after the D3 miner arrived or the first Siacoin miner.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Was able to snag a 4070 at Best Buy today. on: April 16, 2023, 10:33:20 AM
Looks like the sweet spot of RTX 4xxx generation
Only one connector, 12gb GDDR6X and a reasonable price.

Post some actual pictures of your gpu if you can, and what you will mine with it.
Did you buy one just to test it?

In my country it is not available yet, only for shipment starting May 15

Yeah first off I got this one.

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/nvidia-geforce-rtx-4070-12gb-gddr6x-graphics-card-titanium-and-black/6539358.p?skuId=6539358

here it is paired with a 3090 just Hooked up to do octopus

it pulls 134 watts to do 59 mh

and 3090 pulls 299 watts to do 99 mh

clearly more efficient than a 3090 while doing octopus.

59mh @134w? not much better than a RTX3070 with 54mh @ 135w  Cheesy
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GMiner v3.32 CFX+KASPA+ZIL/Ergo+KASPA+ZIL/KAWPOW/Equihash/Cortex on: April 13, 2023, 10:54:23 AM
Only 0,5% of hashrate improvement... probably wrong the Changelog.

You can read right?

UP TO 1% dependent on GPU

So explain what is wrong?

@Zminer
Why hiding pool efficiency? Because i asked on discord why the pool efficiency is so bad? I mean only 85% - 90% pool hashrate from the reported one is a huge difference.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner-MULTI AMD & NVIDIA & INTEL & CPU miner on: April 12, 2023, 11:16:31 AM
Srbminer have supoort for oc options(lock core clock, offset and voltage settings) for both nvidia and amd on windows?

No only Nvidia.

i dont adjust intensity at all when it was working, with cpu pow hash rate is higher. This is from release notes:

A part of POUW work that was done on the CPU's is now done on GPU side. This unfortunately comes with a penalty : less hashrate. If you have a good CPU which can run all your cards without issues, then add the --dynex-cpu-pow parameter
and the additional work will again be calculated on the CPU side.

With version 2.2.4 the penalty is 0 - 3%, so POUW on cpu is not needed anymore.

i see no stats (no hashrate, nothing in gpu tab, no shares.....) when i use Bzminer. Here is the API report

118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Pickminer v1.1.0 NVIDIA & Ravencoin / Neoxa / Firo mining software on: April 11, 2023, 12:16:37 PM
What is the advantage of your miner against other miners?
The devfee is very high for those algos - we have a bunch of miners for this algos, so we have many choices.

We appreciate your work.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner-MULTI AMD & NVIDIA & INTEL & CPU miner on: April 06, 2023, 09:39:01 AM
gtx 1070 stopped working completely with 2.2.4 - crashing on init, lowering intensity does not help, back to 2.2.3. --dynex-cpu-pow 0 stil not working with rx 5700, even with lower intensity.

--dynex-cpu-pow 0 Huh?? For what is this? It is a wrong argument. And you donīt need it, the GPU can do the pouw part. And first start without intensity settings.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: No one talks about xmr and CPU mining anymore on: April 05, 2023, 12:57:35 PM
Are people still mining XMR anymore? I don't see somiwn talking about Monero anymore, I would like to know how good the latest Intel CPUs are doing with XMR mining, like the high end i9 series and the AMD Ryzen 9 processors. Any improvement?

The AMD cpuīs doing a better job mining XMR, but in my opinion, it is not worth to mine XMR, you have better alternatives for CPU mining. Dero for example or as i do -> profitswitching on zergpool and let me pay in FLUX or BTC.
