Unfortunately you need particular hardware for this tool work

I quote your start statement, maybe you find the failure.

Simple tool for control rigs on lan. Tested with frozen simplemining and frozen windows rigs.
No need to start before rigs fail. Start, run and close.

*PC and Rig must be at same network.
*Enter your subnet (192.168.0, 192.168.1, 255.255.1, etc.) before scan

dont you need to make registry edits before this will work?
Code:
On the computer that you want to reboot or shutdown remotely, press Windows key + R, type: regedit then hit Enter on your keyboard.
Navigate to the following registry key Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
Right click on the System folder, select New > DWORD (32-bit) Value
Enter the following label: LocalAccountTokenFilterPolicy
Double-click the value then change the value to 1
Exit the registry then restart your computer to confirm changes.

Special hardware? You say nothing about that. What "special" hardware i need   Cheesy

I have the same bug as BoozyTalking on 1 of my rigs. Mining only randomX (CPU Intel 6500). I have this bug 3 times in the last 2 days. Most around 30 minutes after start and with admin rights.
At the moment i test without admin rights and it runs for 3 hours. I am back tomorrow with a new report.
1063  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: September 18, 2020, 05:56:34 PM
Awesome Miner version 8.0.2 (Development preview of 8.1)

 Features
  - Heat maps can be displayed in the web interface
  - Improved sorting of miners in the list of available miners for a heat map
  - The information column can display the MAC address of a miner
 Integration
  - Wallet balance feature can be configured to send custom HTTP headers when requesting balance from a block explorer
 Mining software
  - WildRig 0.26.0
  - Bminer 16.3.1
  - T-rex miner 0.17.2
 Corrections
  - Correction to list of groups when moving miners in web interface
  - Corrected tooltip display for miners in the heat map

Nothing has changed for me, srbminer for cpu does not start, problem with api. I downloaded version 5.2 still does not start.

There are no changes for SrbMiner in this release.

Did you try to remove your custom command line argument " --algorithm yescrypt" as I suggested via PM earlier? SrbMiner 0.5 seems to be very sensitive to the order of the command line arguments, so for the algorithm it's better to let Awesome Miner add it for you.

Yes, Patrick, I deleted - yescrypt algorithm, miner started, data is displayed. But on other algorithms awesome does not give the desired algorithm, and it does not start in manual mode, I checked it with the m7m, verushash algorithms with srb 5.2

Patrike has no activate verushash and m7m for srbminer 0.5.2. So you must add it manualy in Options -> managed software -> search srb 0.5.2 miner in the list -> edit and add verushash and m7m.

Do not worry. All inclusive. As Patricke wrote: srb is sensitive to settings and must insert the line with the algorithm into the bat file itself, but there is no command for these algorithms - an empty space.

Yes patrike write it is sensitive and i give you the right way. You donīt need to add it to the bat file.

IF YOU ADD THIS AS I DESCRIBED, AWESOMEMINER WILL ADD THE RIGHT ALGO AND NO EMPTY SPACE.  Roll Eyes

AS YOU CAN SEE IN MY PICTURE THE DEFAULT COMMAND FOR VERUSHASH IS EMPTY SO IT ADDS A EMPTY SPACE, YOU MUST ADD IT IN THE USER DEFINED LINE.

I do what patrike with the next release will do. But if you donīt understand my point itīs also ok.

V0.5.2
+ Added 'verushash' for GPU mining
+ 'verushash' on CPU optimised a little bit
+ 'ethash' on GPU optimised a little bit
+ Optimised algorithm redirecting with CPU mined algorithms
+ Removed 'MTP' algorithm
+ Bug fixes

This version is quite a lot slower than previous version on my testbuild. Intel Core I7 3770 with 0.5.1 i can do with 6 threads around 5.5 - 5.7 mh on verus. new version now only 5.2 mh. I will do some more research on other rigs.

EDIT:
Tests done: All good now, i think was a other problem on my testbuild. Now with new version 5.6 - 5.8mh on verus. Nice doktor  Grin

Longterm test? Running for 5 sec say nothing. Please let it run for a week without restart.
Find a sweetspot under 200w would be nice, but for me, the 3060 (ti) is more interesting, same mem speed as 3070 but cheaper.
1067  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New AMD cards incoming ! New info on October 28. on: September 18, 2020, 11:44:03 AM
I found this beast on youtube review >> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6sbW6H5jCg

What do you think about this gpu, the reviewer got 45MH and he told that if the official driver will become available, it will get the 100-120MH per card and the power consumption is so cool, it has only consumed 65w.

Nothing special. Most SQRL products are scam or not supported anymore. Redpanda Mining is also a noob, with limited knowledge.

I think the new AMD cards (maybe some new nvidia RTX also) can beat this hash per watt ratio.
1068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: September 18, 2020, 08:52:20 AM
Hi, Patrike!

After the last update, the api srbminer 4.7 stopped working. The srbminer 5.01 version does not start, it also looks like something with the API.

Yes and srbminer 5.0.1 works perfect. some things changed, please look in the srbminer thread.
Set --cpu-threads in commandline, it must be specify.

This is clear. Temperature, hashray, power is not reflected in awesome miner window.

Yes i understand you and this is clear dude.
Then it is a config failure by yourself. I donīt know your setup or your config. Api is changed in the last srbminer version and Patrike changed Awesomeminer that it can read the new api. So i donīt know whats your problem. I think you changed software setup or something.

Didn't touch anything, from the word at all. On two computers srb 4.7 starts, but there is no data, 5.0 starts and immediately turns off, writes an incorrect configuration. I am using this miner for cpu.

Can you please start SrbMiner (the latest) with the Diagnostics button in the toolbar? Please share the output with me as it will be of help trying to identify the incorrect configuration. Thanks!

Yes please do click diagnostic button. But i think you didnīt set --cpu-threads in the commandline.

i am out, i only discuss with personīs you understand technology.

best sentence from you, that show your knowledge:
anyway my point is about 150mhs "possibility" from gddr5x to 6 to 6x. that's two vram generation leaps. understand the analogy. then you will understand why it is a "possibility"

And for you, i have no AMD 5700, 5600, but i have much nvidia cards like p104, p106, 1070 and much more AMD cards.
1070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New NVIDIA Geforce RTX 30 series GPUs on: September 17, 2020, 10:40:21 AM
I know that this are gddr5, but the memory is not the only thing. The R9 390 has 512bit memory interface, that is why i say incredible. Or you know much more cards with such a big memory interface like this?
Donīt compare only gddr5 with gddr6 or hbm, you must see the whole thing. memspeed is combination of memory interface and memspeed.

i like to keep things simple hehe, those memory interface speed differences are just minimal leap. major upgrades/purchases are only worthy with huge leap in performance.
XXXXDDDDD ok now i am out, I donīt discuss with persons they have really really really and really no knowledge about what they talking about. So you say, if i can halving the memory interface of an r9 390 to 256, this will change nothing in eth speed? you cut of the halve mem speed and this will do nothing with the speed? Ok dude you must learn much more, i donīt believe this, i know this.

How much cards you have for mining?

For example: R9 390 can reach over 40mh if you rise the core to the hell, an rx 580 with almost the same number of shaders, but halve mem interface cannot achieve these hashrate.

will you cut the memory interface from 512 to 256? LOL it is a product, engineers already decided what interface will do best for that product.

we just run it and see if it will profit. dude you are over complicating things just to win an argument that you will never win hehehehe

how many cards i run? well... that's the mystery dude  Cheesy

Oh man please let it rain brain. Your knowledge is incredible XD it is product. What an answer. You know the difference between 512bit und 256bit? You know that 256bit produce halve memspeed as 512bit can do?

dude i donīt answer you anymore and set you on my ignore list. I canīt read your shit anymore Cool

And i will never win? What will i win? A trip? You have no arguments and nothing and with your 3 cards running you think you are a big player XD

This is sentence from you (arielbit) say all about your knowledge:
Quote from: arielbit

Yes and gddr5 to gddr5x brings double memspeed. man dude you must compare the real memspeed and not gddr5 to gddr6x.  Roll Eyes some people will learn nothing but thats it. i am out sorry dude and have fun with your killer 1080tiīs that can produce 50mh, wow impressive  Cheesy Roll Eyes Huh and you compare it with the RX5700 and say that Nvidia can do this many years ago. Ok AMD can do over 100mh many years ago with vega7. And by the way, the Rx5700 can do over 55mh at 120w, how much watt needs the 1080tiīs?

And next argument: Miners not optimized for RTX3080. Ok the miners are also not optimized for AMD vega7, Navi and so on. Miners optimized for the RTX20X0 series? Some other algo miners yes, but not for ETH.
You say i only speak about ETH hashrate and nvidia can do more algos than AMD, but why you still compare the ETH hashrate  Huh

There are many algos for AMD and Nvidia, i prefer no Manufacturer, i only buy cards with a good hash per watt ratio.

How can I calculate the memory bandwidth thats important for ETH mining:

(memory clock in Hz Ũ Memory Interface ũ 8 ) Ũ memory clock type multiplier = Bandwidth in MB/s

memory clock type multiplier:
HBM1 / HBM2: 2
GDDR3: 2
GDDR5: 4
GDDR5X: 8

Next Example: R9 280x 384bit mem interface, can achieve 28mh on 1GB DAG, R9 380x same shader count, but interface cuted to 256bit, max it can achieve 25mh with some optimizations.

Can you prove anything or do you have any comparisons that prove your statements?

Some chinese have been with the gpus for more than 2 weeks and they know nothing? You get the troll award of the day ehhe

RTX 3080 760 Gbps are around 123 from 2080ti so hashrate 63mh but i think the 30x0 is a bit faster so it can do 65mh

his estimate is only at 60% power draw of the card

his brain power lacks 40% lol  Cheesy

Hmm i was really close with my expect hashrate, you say it comes with over 100mh or more. 65mh to 80mh? and over 100 to 80mh. who was closer?
And whats the truth? Lol your comment, i see your brain. stupid sorry dude nothing more.

for me sweetspot is at powerlimit 65%.

2. and of course the miner's review, well first of all many miners here will definitely waiting for it.

We are all waiting to see the new cards hashrates to think what to do in a few months, new 3xxx series of Nvidia or new AMD cards?
This new generation of cards can bring a new rush for hardware if the prices of ETH and BTC continues to rise and now coronacrisis can make the situation even worse about supply

But we can make some predictions that AMD will be better again in efficiency in ETH while Nvidia will be good at another algos

A few years ago the gpus that are on the lime light was the RX 500 series and 1070 nviidia, but after a years, this cards are no longer available in mining ethereum,  i never get the ROI of my 20 rx 570, I was bought it a month before mining goes unprofit, well that's the saddest part of mining story.

Then you do something wrong. My 570 (bought back in 2017) all reach the ROI and why you say it still not available in eth mining? You can still mining Eth with 570 or nvidia 1070.

I hear that AMD will be offering HBM2 versions.

Only for professional.

1075  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New NVIDIA Geforce RTX 30 series GPUs on: September 17, 2020, 09:19:03 AM
well, after 2 years nvidia was able to reproduce Radeon VII eth performance with more wattage  Grin

Yeah but nvidia did not need hbm2. So all in fairness still impressive as is just gddr6x.

lol Metroid. Nvidia Fanboy? I think so and why you talking so much about mining, when you are not mining?
You are not a miner and have no really knowledge, as we see in this sentence.

The vega7 is how old? How much hashrate in grin, eth and so on can it do? But yes the new 3080 is impressive and the new holy grale lol  Roll Eyes
AMD cards needs less memspeed to achieve same hashrate like Nvidia cards, as we see AMD RX5700 vs Nvidia 2080 and we not talking about the price.

well, after 2 years nvidia was able to reproduce Radeon VII eth performance with more wattage  Grin

Yeah but nvidia did not need hbm2. So all in fairness still impressive as is just gddr6x.

it was the core, radeon vii hbm was bottle necked by the core, nvidia gddr6x amphere is what radeon vii should be.

besides amd and nvidia don't make gddr6x and hbm just for eth mining lol

Yes, the vega7 can do much more in hashrate, because the memspeed was incredible, samething as the old AMD R9 390, it has so much mem speed, but the bottleneck was the core.

One of my machines (specifically a 1070 eight card rig) keeps having an intermittent issue where AwesomeMiner says "interface offline" but the machine is still working fine. I uninstalled and re-installed the remote agent and the problem keeps occuring.
Any ideas?
No firewall / anti-virus / etc running. Windows 10 ver 2004.
I have three machines and only this one is having this particular issue.

Thanks!
Thanks for your question. "Interface offline" indicates one of the following:
1) The mining software you are running isn't responding with any monitoring information when requested by Awesome Miner. If this is the case, it's some bug in the mining software that cause the monitoring interface (API) to stop working
2) Awesome Miner do receive the monitoring information from the mining software, but Awesome Miner do something wrong and fail to process and display this information.

When this problem happens, can you please select the miner and send me the API report via PM? You can generate the API report via the toolbar: Tools -> API Report. With this API Report I can verify if the mining software is responding with any monitoring details. Thanks!

Any updates from the reports that I had sent you?

You say 2 sites back that the firewall was on and that was the problem. Please deactivate it. Or should i quote your own answer? Check IPīs in your network, sometimes my smartphone take the same ip as one of my rigs. Distance between Awesomeminer MainPC and the Rig?
