And there found the failure. Your cpu has 12 threads and you are try to use 20 threads. Not possible. change cpu-threads in 6;6 or 5;5 or lower.

This is not a dualminer or something similar. You cannot mine 2 different algos on 1 core. you can mine 2 different algos on 2 different cpu cores.

Ok, miner just stop to generate shares without any errors, but continue to load processor (randomepic+yescryptr16).
Last few minits from log:

Hey Sxemini
Hey Lolliedieb
The issue I'm having is that with the current Awesome Miner setup, EQUI144_5, ZEL, and EQUI192_7 do not get the --pers parameter added to the generated comandline.

Not sure here, too what happens in AM, but there are two ways of using this algos.
Either --algo or --coin. If you still can use --coin you can use --coin ZEL to configure ZelHash + right personalization and --coin AUTO144_5 for --algo  EQUI144_5 with --pers AUTO (aka pool selection).
If --pers is not passed forwards that seems to be an issue with awesome miner / a bit too tight template / not giving the opportunity to add custom parameters outside of their template. If so that will be interesting for the next algos I am adding, because they will add quite a lot custom params  Shocked Not mentioning yet which it will be  Cool

I tried using --pers AUTO, at the comandline, but lolMiner returns the following error...
Code:
Error: Personalization string (--pers) need to have 8 characters.

Ok, just thought I'd try something stupid, and added four underscores in front of the AUTO argument, and it worked - although with 100% rejection rate.

Have fun!  =8^)

Is this only a profitswitching problem? Because i have no problems mining 192_7, 144_5 or beamhashIII with lolminer
You must set the --pers string in the pool config.

In the Properties of your Pool in Awesome Miner, where you specify URL and worker name, you will also find the field "Personalization string". If you fill in "BgoldPoW" here, Awesome Miner will add "--pers BgoldPoW" when you start lolMiner.

If this doesn't work, can you please send me a few screenshots? Thanks!

Yes patrike this is working.

Whilst adding the personalization string to custom pools is easy enough, (and works fine), I haven't found a satisfactory way of adding it to the default preset profit switching pools.

So, the question is, "How do I add the correct personalization strings to the preset profit switching pools?"

Also, see my previous reply to Patrike, where I describe a problem that occurs when I try using the preset pools in conjunction with my custom pools.

Have fun!  =8^)

Go to online services and looking for your pool, click edit and add the pers string ^^

I am having issues where the balance page does not add up correctly - for example, I have 4 litecoin addresses and it shows all 4 with their correct balances however - the total omits one of the balances and thus is wrong.

this issue comes and goes - and with different coins at different times - in an hour the above may be reflected correctly and my bitcoin balances will be wrong instead.
Thanks for the report.

I've identified the scenario. If you have multiple addresses and the check for one of them fail, the failure will not be indicated in the user interface. The last balance for the address will still be displayed, but no longer part of the total.

I will correct this in the next release, to indicate if there was a failure and let the total value assume the last known balance for the address that failed once. After this change, you will always see the total balance correctly.

it seems to error now on anything with more than 2 addresses Sad

No, on my balance all good. have many coins with 4 or more addresses, and all fine.

Patrike,
is it possible to add a graphical coin price and difficulty change for 24h, 7 days and 30 days? i think it could be a nice feature.

miner software optimization might get 3090 to 150mhs...hopefully  Grin

No, Eth is memory bound, 3080 and 3090 have the same memory type and speed so the minor difference we will see would be due to 320 vs 384bit bus width. And this isnt on-die HBM, dont expect 90+ on anything.

1080 is 35mhs
1080ti is 50mhs

that's 42.8% difference between 1080 and 1080ti, both gddr5x

3080 is 100mhs (there is a post that says 115mhs at 300w) if you do the math of adding 42% of 3080 to 100mhs that's 142mhs.

now nvidia says 3090 as titan like(they phased out titan, this is the new titan), if 3080ti is not released yet, then 3090 is better than 3080ti

if 3090 is better than 3080ti, then 150mhs is not impossible.

XD you cannot add 42% and say "yes thats the hashrate" XD
And a screenshot say nothing. Wait i make a screenshot with 2000mh hashrate for the 3070, you believe this?
you will see, 3080 nothing more than 70mh.
In the past, much people say AMD RX5700 will reach 70 or 80 mh, but what is the fact?

LOL dude, 1080 and 1080ti are old hehehe ... screenshots are for the ones who didn't see the hashrate yet  Cheesy

LOL dude read my post again. I edited. I know that, and what will you say me with your sentense? You say there is screenshot with 115mh. Where? There is screenshot from a table. So i make screenshot from a table, where i write 2000mh per card, you believe this?

RTX 3070 512 GBps are around 83% from 2080ti so hashrate 43mh but i think the 30x0 is a bit faster so it can do 45mh

RTX 3080 760 Gbps are around 123 from 2080ti so hashrate 63mh but i think the 30x0 is a bit faster so it can do 65mh

Hi Patrik,

I have a question. I have a few rigs left with nVidia GTX 1080 Ti's and MSI Afterburner and wanted them switching finally to the native overclocking like my other RTX rigs.

In Afterburner the first line is "Core Voltage (%)". I have set this on all cards to +100.

In AM in the GPU overclocking panel I cant find such "Core Voltage (%)". Its only the "Core voltage limit" in the lower advanced section, but I think this setting means I set the real numbers directly, like 1075 mV or 1040 mV or so.
In the GPU Clocking Profiles I can find the same "Core voltage limit (mV)" and "Core voltage boost (mV)". But none of them affect the first line in Afterburner. Is it possible somehow in AM to set that "Core Voltage (%)" to a number between +0 to +100? Without, the hashrate is lower and I really like that option.

Thanks for the answer!
Hi Joseph and thanks for your question.

I'm not aware how to set Core Voltage (%) like MSI Afterburner. On nVidia 2000-series it isn't supported at all. On the 1000-series nVidia will enforce a number of limits the voltage anyway so you will never get 100% higher voltage even if configured. This is why the nVidia drivers mainly focus on the "Core voltage limit" these days.

What kind of voltage behaviors do you get when you set it to +100% compared to 0% in MSI Afterburner? How does that compare to setting a voltage limit in Awesome Miner instead (at keep the setting in MSI Afterburner at 0%)?

Hey Patrik,

the Core Voltage (%) is just a very small boost, maybe 1% or so with +100. But I really like that option. It will boost the hashrate a little bit with just a bit higher voltage, but the GPU clock stays at the same number. If I just increase the voltage to the same value, the hashrate will be lower. So I have to increase the core clock too to match the higher hashrate. But if the card is already running with the highest clock, I cant increase it any higher. Thats my observations to that setting.

Its nothing big here, but a few more cents per hour per card could be worth asking you Smiley But if its not possible to edit that setting with the native overclocking, it will be no problem. The native OC is one of the greatest tools inside AM. So keep up the great work!

Set Core Voltage Limit to your predicted voltage makes more sense. Cards overclock or underclock automatically

On Nvidia Cards, i use core voltage limit and it works very nice. I can set Power Limit to 100% and set core voltage limit, result is: stable gpu frequenz, stable energy output, no jumps up and down any more, hashrate stable. I donīt know why all other people decrease the power limit, on amd cards no one do this.

There is a 2080ti XC on Amazon for $1299...the 3070 could be a game changer...if you can get your hands on 1 (or 6).

https://www.tweaktown.com/news/74698/geforce-rtx-3070-should-offer-2080-ti-level-performance-for-599/index.html

okay 2x amd 5600 = 550 usd to 600 usd mining eth you get 77-82 mh

burns under 230 watts in total at the wall.

1x nvidia 3070 cost 600

burns under 180 watts in total at the wall

so it saves 50 watts or 1.2 kwatts a day.

lets pretend it saves 2 kwatts a day that is 20 cents at 10 cent power 30 cents at 15 cent power.

and I think it will do 65 to 70 mh.

Seems like a push compared to 2 of these.

With the right settings, the 5600xt goes to 85w at 42mh. so you can get 80 - 84 mh with 170watts at the wall and i think the 3070 makes around 45mh max and nothing more, memspeed is not much faster and the cores does not matter.
