101  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency wallets: Can they be hacked?? on: June 03, 2018, 10:30:14 AM
Hacker motto is "nothing is unhackable in the internet". So if you are a person that is holding a large number of coins. You shouldn't store it in a single wallet, split it in different wallet instead so if ever you've been attacked, atleast not all your coins. You should also be careful on what site you visit.
Of course online wallets can be hacked. I have experienced this before and I do pity myself that all of my bounty reward was taken. I do not know what to do at that time and who to blame (then I only have myself).

Not putting all of it in a single wallet is the very basic thing of securing your investments and wallets. You may have the keys hidden a safe box but hackers will be hackers, they will find a way to get inside your safe box and selfishly steal everything. Don't feel contented with the security that sites / online wallets gives you, make sure that you have a way of your own in managing and securing your finds.
102  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What amount did you start to trade? on: June 03, 2018, 09:41:38 AM
Actually, I didn't invest my money when I started to trade because I don't have money during those times. I always join signature campaigns and when my campaign rewarded me with altcoins, that was my first capital when I started trading. I waited for the right time before I sold it then I used my profit to buy other coins and the rest is history.
I also started with zero in here and in trading. I am still a student and I don't have any amount to be used as a capital so what I did is also join and participate in different bounty campaigns. I started with a bitcoin camp so I will have something for me to used in buying ETH. After that, I started joining altcoin campaigns too and this is where most of my funds came from. As of now, it is very hard to find a good altcoin campaign because lots of them are turning into scam.

In trading, it is not good to start with nothing because there will be transaction fees that you have to pay. Fees are also growing while bitcoin price is rising.
103  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin gone too much deep?? on: June 03, 2018, 09:10:44 AM
It's well known that bitcoin has a high volatility, caused by whales and pump and dump groups, in order to make profits. The price is also influenced by FUD, to give bitcoin a bad reputation. And the price also affects altcoins.
The price did drop from almost 20K to 6K in in February, but hopefully it will rise again and reach 20K again at the end of the year.
In short, many factors affect the rise and fall of bitcoin's market price so we can't tell which specifically is causing the dump. Though the whales is not active now, factors like negativity and bad image are affecting bitcoin badly. The internet is flooded by bad news about bitcoin being a scam when the truth is, bitcoin is being used by fake investments companies. Some people are also selling because of giving up, it had been a long wait for bitcoin to rise again and those people are not happy holding anymore.

Price is at dump and will only shows small recovery and then will fall again. I don't know if it is okay to consider that bitcoin is having a stable price now.
104  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does speculation affect bitcoin negatively? on: June 02, 2018, 11:59:25 PM
It Will affect Bitcoin market value negatively only if the speculation talk about negative effect on Bitcoin which will definitely create panic selling and that will lead to low price of Bitcoin and probably other altcoins.
True, speculations are normally done by people and we can't control the way they are going to take the changes in the market. We speculate not to affect bitcoin negatively nor positively, we do it for the soul reason of sharing what we feel and think about bitcoin. There is nothing wrong if we speculate negatively, it is part of the observation, it will just really depend how you are going to accept things.

Honestly, negative speculations can affect bitcoin negatively but think about it. We can speculate positively as much as we want but if the market is still not moving positively, accept the fact that there will always be negative thinking.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still did not get bounty rewards? on: June 02, 2018, 11:25:07 PM
Somehow ICOs will get delayed so that directly affects the bounty distribution. If you are participating in a legit ICO and running by a trusted bounty campaign manager then you don't need to worry. You will definately get your rewards.
Sad to say, some members go bounty hunting and joining bounty campaigns without doing a review of the project. Any member should know and understand very well that not all ICOs and projects here succeed, affecting the participants and of course the campaign manager. There is also an instance that even if the project has a good whitepaper and that the plan surely possess a big chance of succeeding, there is still no assurance in this because things might go wrong in the middle of the project and even when it is time for the distribution.

Most of the members here have suffered being scammed and not getting payed but they still continue because there are many projects that will exist in the future. There will be a time where a participant will find a good campaign that will give him fortune.
106  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin still a buy despite recent losses on: June 02, 2018, 04:00:23 PM

Despite the fact that bitcoint price declined for a reason i still believe bitcoint will be able yo bounce back on track.and this is the right time to buy. bitcoint will grow more stronger as long as many people believe.  best time to invest is now while still low..
Though bitcoin is still on a dump state and is having a hard time recovering which is clearly visible because of small fluctuations, it still gain investors. Dump price is a good starting point for investors so don't be confused and bothered why bitcoin is still popular and is a buy event at this current state. Might as well feel happy for this because it shows how strong bitcoin stands in the market.
107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any gambling site that uses bitcoin? on: June 02, 2018, 03:20:24 PM
Not just online casinos, these days even physical casinos have started accepting Bitcoin. Every since Cryptos came into existence, people started to have surplus money in hand and I think gambling places are the ones which have benefitted the most from it.
Here is a link of top 5 casinos that accept Bitcoin payments - https://www.casino.org/payment/bitcoin/
So many gambling ICOs have also come up. Gamblica is one such project that I am aware of.
I just hope that payment goes well for other online gamblers. I have experienced before having a hard time claiming the money I won, I was very happy that time because it is very seldom for me to win in gambling, offline and online. Due to happiness I was very excited to claim the prize right away. Well lesson learned, there will always be process and if you will not pay attention, you will likely end up having trouble in claiming, just like me.

Anyways, it is true that bitcoin payment is being accepted in offline casinos. This is just right because bitcoin will continue to dominate and establishments might as well adapt to the constant and fast-changing technology.
108  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the best exchanges to trade. on: June 02, 2018, 02:33:34 PM
For beginners like you it's better to start with user-friendly exchanges and with a good reputation. Try poloniex or cex. They are both quite simple in use - the only difference that polo doesn't offer much fiat options. I am more in eur market so prefer using cex - https://cex.io/btc-eur for these purposes. So it depends on what is preferable for you. Search on various forums and look what people say. Read articles from different sources, or simply google.
There are a lot of exchanges that are working same and different both and their rates are different for different processes. You need to go through the Blockchain technology that will make you able to exchange your coins or selling of coins smoothly. In order to survive in the market you would need to follow the most recommended tools and places from where you can get success.
To be honest, when I was a newbie trader I really make sure that I checked every exchanges available so that I can compare each fees and find which could make me feel secure in using. Exchanges have different environment but they all function for the same thing, which is trading but you still have to find which exchanges will give you convenience and of course which exchanges have the coin/coins you are going to trade for.

Some exchanges have security problems so be sure that you know which is it specifically, you don't want to end up being robbed online.
109  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is Bitcoin's daily price fluctuations getting smaller and smaller? on: June 02, 2018, 01:41:37 PM
Why is Bitcoin's daily price fluctuations getting smaller and smaller? How do you view the current price of Bitcoin and how we should handle the transaction in the later period?
You think it is stable because you are comparing its price to alts which tend to be way too volatile. If you compare its price to normal stock market, you would see that bitcoin is still very volatile.
Maintaining a stable price is not exactly a bad thing. Rather, you should be happy about the fact that its price is stable. This, in turn, would attract new investors who were always scared to invest in Bitcoin because of the extreme price volatility.
I personally know so many people who are afraid to be a part of such high volatility and having a stable price would give them the required confidence.
Investors like to interfere at times when we less expect them to. I do envy them cause they have the money for investing and I mean as a huge investment but I know that the higher the amount is, the higher risk it also possesses. In crypto, it is very impossible for the coins to have stable prices but right now, we can consider that the price is in stable due to smaller fluctuations. We have been hoping for bitcoin to start the real recovering from the dump but it do feels like bitcoin will not be rising this month.

Anyways, we shouldn't lose hope because it will surely affect how we hold unto our investments. We don't one joining those who panic sells.
110  Economy / Speculation / Re: Those who sold bitcoin are in for a big loss on: June 02, 2018, 01:00:54 PM
Kinda, because in my basic principle in this crypto world is to hold longer than anyone else. So, when the prices goes down and many people panic selling their coin, ill tend to buying more coin with the deep dipping prices.
It is a smart strategy to take advantage when people are panic selling but I know that deep inside, e still worry that bitcoin might never recover from a dump. We all know how bitcoin have the potential of huge growth in the future and we hope that this really happen but there are many factors that affect bitcoin price and the volatility could really be a pain in the ass sometimes. If ever the bitcoin regain its highest state in price last year, I am sure that those who have sold already would be in a big regret.

112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins dropping like crazy on: June 02, 2018, 03:18:35 AM
Is there a particularly reason why all Coins are dropping simultaneously this week? If you look at the charts you will see a pattern
I can not say that the altcoins are now strongly fallen, because after raising the high price of altcoins also had to gather and act on but maybe something happened or something did not happen.
For a month there is virtually no significant increase in the crypto and altcoin markets, I still hold my altcoin for 1 month because the price drops more than 50% so I'm still waiting for the price to go up. of course this is also the impact of bitcoin prices that do not recover yet. I don't know what's going on with the crypto. I just hope recover / pump soon to happens
So many things and factors that can affect bitcoin prices but we don't which exactly is making the drop now. As far as I know, the market prices of altcoins might be be affected by the drop in bitcoin price. There are bad news circulating about bitcoin investments becoming scam and this could be the main reason. Bitcoin is being used by those who wants to gain money by fooling other people and this is not good for the image of bitcoin.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Easy to earn Merits? on: June 01, 2018, 11:56:33 PM
Currently earnning Merits is very difficult. You need to be very active on the forum and write comments which are extensively helpful for other users. In this case, there is a chance someone grant you merits.

But not all the great, conatructive and informative posts are givem merits. After all, not all merit source will be browsing thr whole forum searching for great post just so they can give them merits. So this doesn't apply all the time. Although there are threads that gives merits by means of tasks or something.
It feels like a very long time had passed already because of the merit system. Members are very excited and inspired to be active on forum because of the old ranking system but since some have also abused the use of it, there is a good reason for the moderators to implement the merit system.

We are really having hard time earning merit for so many reasons and @Swenna is right that even if you have a constructive and informative post, there is no assurance that you will get merit for that. Some members have lay-low because they were saddened of the merit system but I am happy to see, even if some members give up, the forum is looking healthier again than before. It may be hard to earn merit but as long as it is for the forum, I would be happy to oblige with the new system.
114  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How educate yourself about crypto? on: June 01, 2018, 11:08:21 PM
First, what do you want to know about crypto? If you are referring with trading. Then the best way to learn trading crypto is by buying a book, a good one is Trading code by Jason Cam. It will tell you all the stuff you need to learn and master the chart reading.  If you want to learn trading for free. There are bunch of trading tutorials in Youtube. You may also purchase online lessons from Udemy, check out the channel of suppoman.

What blogs or channels do you prefer most when you need to get knowledge about crypto, wallets and crypto market? Just found hacker noon on medium and CCN website:) Can you share more?

Resources are very much available online and offline but you sometimes you'll find yourself asking if it is accurate and right. Some people says that you can't trust what you find online but I think online information is the most updated one.

I have tried reading books offline and online, watching videos about cryptos and trading, and asking experts. I guess we can do all of these to acquire information but the main part will be the understanding and analysis.
115  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to HODL the right way on: June 01, 2018, 09:01:20 PM
Everyone could have their own way of holding so I guess there won't be a real right way of holding. What matters here is that the way we chose will be comfortable and of course profitable for us. We don't have the same amount of assets so there will be people who can afford allotting money for investment and hold for profit, and the rest would rely on the received payments or accumulated earnings and then hold. Of course the bigger amount you hold the bigger profit you can gain as well as the bigger you can lose.
116  Economy / Speculation / Re: The June is coming and the market will boom up from that on: June 01, 2018, 11:10:03 AM
A lot of changes happens on the past two years, so this year will be different  from those. Do not compare what happened before to this present year.
Yeah, sure. We cannot always use the past to indicate what would be happening in the future. From the way things are going on the charts except of course something goes wrong and we get to see bitcoin going all the way down, then I guess a move upward will actually bring about some pretty good move upward for the rest of the market which still makes the whole June thing to be in play at the end of the day. We still have few days to go though, so I guess we see how things end up.

June has actually always been the month almost everyone has always known to be the month of greens and huge percentage increase across the market, and I guess we have to wait and see how this one is going to be like. I believe most of the alt markets from the divergence shown on the momentum indicators are really preparing to see how the trend for bitcoin is going to be like before we start seeing smart money moving into the market.
I guess what we can do now is to wait and observe if the market prices will show any signs of pumping again now that we are entering mid-year. Though we shouldn't really compare the present and the past in terms of changes in market prices, we can't totally get rid of that thought because it is helping us to keep our hopes up that bitcoin will start regaining and reaching another high price this year.

Anyways, all in all what we could really do is wait for now. I just hope that the market will start going green again because it had been a long time of waiting and being patient for all of us already.
117  Economy / Economics / Re: So many cryptocurrencies ! on: June 01, 2018, 09:29:32 AM
in my opinion, amount if cryptocurrency has direct effect to main cryptocurrency price such as bitcoin and ethereum.shit project that have unclear roadmap is risky selling out their eth or balance that collected from ico.so this is one of reason that could make bitcoin and ethereum goes down.
There are more than 100 crypto coins in the world of the crypto currencies and that this is a very good thing to see this much number of the coins. It is because more the number of the coins will, more will be the options for the investors to make the right choice. You need to be very much careful while choosing any of the crypto coin as this is something which will make you earn money.
This make investing more harder and more complicated. We have so many options or tokens to chose from but we don't know which one will give assurance of earning profit. Yes, we could try studying and conducting a careful analysis of the coins but still, there is a chance that are analysis might be wrong too. Other instance is that the coin might show a possible huge growth over time which is good for investing but the volatility may suddenly act up and then destroy everything.
118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how long you can stay without gambling? on: June 01, 2018, 07:41:07 AM
I can stay as long as I can because I am not really that fun in losing my money and gambling means losing money and a little chance of winning. I've seen many people who can't live without it but those are people who are addicted in gambling.
Gambling is only for fun to me also so it won't be a problem if I go for years without playing. Most of the time I lose so I have a reason to convince myself to quit gambling. Online gambling introduces different kind of bonuses that are very enticing so some of us are having a hard time fighting the urge to play.

There are many applications available online if we are still into gambling, the difference is that the money is virtually generated and earned. These applications are not bad as a replacement for gambling and for using real money.
119  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Disable person on: May 31, 2018, 08:12:20 PM
This is a common thing happens in different countries where the government mandatory give assistance to there citizens with disability, and the sad truth is that the assistance from government is not enough.

This is the perfect time to introduce bitcoin to persons with disability by doing this they don't need to rely only on government assistance, because they are now started to earn there own money to support their needs.

It depends on what they are capable. I'd they are mentally strong and physically disabled then, yes there is a chance to earn more and live a good life without expecting more from the government. But I'd they are mentally disabled and physically OK then,  it's bit hard as mental skills are required to earn and live normal. The earnings from crypto is more than the earnings they get out of fiat's.
Mental skills is definitely needed here so a person with mental problems will be having trouble depending on bitcoin earning. Honestly our governments support groups that financially helps disabled person, there are funds allotted for them but due to corruption, the money does not reach them. We know how people with this kind of situation should be taken care of but greed could really consume people.

It is possible for disabled person to earn bitcoin, especially those who are not mentally retarded but I doubt if they can fully depend on bitcoin earning. For me, it would be wise and much better if these person are given a much stable source of money like charitable employment programs.
120  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you follow trading advice from crypto influencers? on: May 31, 2018, 10:15:58 AM
actually it's from the response of each individual to those who say it is true, there is the opposite, if I personally I do not believe, I prefer to use my own choice of analysis, but I also listen to advice from others, just consider it before following his advice .
People are here to help one another. You can’t just with one’s analysis and start making your moves accordingly, no. this would be the worst mistake that you are going to do ever. Everyone here comes with different mindset and different goals and strategies. So everyone have different sense of perceiving the market. Don’t just believe everyone, rather just ask for advice.
We could just treat other people's advice as guidelines or basis when we do trading but completely doing trading according to what other people say sounds foolish. This is not a school subject where home works could be completely copied by you from your friend, this is trading and money is involved. Every actions and decisions that you make will affect your trading investments. It will be the very best to understand what you are doing so you can move on your own and make decisions without depending on other people.
