1001  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What I think every trader should do to stay in the green on: December 28, 2020, 10:32:17 PM
No strategies work long term, sticking to one will never help. Planned trading however can change your perspective of looking towards trading as a gambling material, and will make you realize that if you would plan your trades before executing them, you can understand the risk:reward system and act accordingly. Many traders lose because they run after money, while they forget that trading requires patience and traders who want quick returns and get rich overnight need to reassess their trading.
1002  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The biggest 10 countries that gamble the most. on: December 28, 2020, 10:12:57 PM
Australia's population is very limited compared to US and their per capita income is much better than any country in this world, so gambling those huge amounts in USD is not a big deal for Australians as they spend money so wisely, their wins pay off too. I am shocked USA is not in the list, though.
1003  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What sites offer FREE Plays, FREE Spins, Free Bets - Lets make a list on: December 28, 2020, 09:55:34 PM
would you be able to make a list on your original post? i really think that it would be very helpful for some users who are looking for free plays, spins, bets and other kind of freebies well me myself is looking something free as well especially it's a holiday season.
There are many free play sites but most of them requires deposit before you'll be able to withdraw some amounts if ever you will win from those free plays. Most of casino now have this rules to have atleast amount deposited to be able to claim rewards if ever won, the free plays were provided by casino to make familiar with the games and to attract players to play more once they are not Satisfied with only few spin or rounds given in free game.

Fortunejack does not need you to deposit in their free spins + free bets promo, all you need is to place some bets and make it to their minimum withdrawal value of BTC0.004 which is quite tough to achieve. And I do not think that some free spins can actually attract a gambler to play there more if they do not have any real money and their intention was to play for free only.
1004  Economy / Economics / Re: The volatility in the price of a bitcoin is falling over time on: December 28, 2020, 09:47:16 PM
Selling btc is only possible for those who hold it, so not much sales are to be seen as bear whales are looking to be out of btc and exhausted. It also applied to the buying side as it is not easy to buy btc at this high and only true daring people will take a chance.
1005  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: There is no certainty in trading on: December 28, 2020, 09:39:26 PM
That is why you have stop losses if you place them.
You can stop a bit extra from losing by adding a stop loss to your position. Certainties can only be there for fine predictors but as nobody is capable of doing it properly, it's better not to overdo it and then regret. We are enjoying and there is so much positivity I'm the markets, but why? Because btc has been pumped up. What would happen if the opposite was the scene?
1006  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Btc and alts on: December 28, 2020, 08:38:43 PM
1. Btc pump then alts dump

This happens when that pump without any reason, lasts for a few minutes to a few days.

2. Alts pump then btc dump

This is not like alts pump only when btc dumps, but when it is in sideways too because the money is being shifted from btc to alts.

3. Both btc and alts follow each other

This happens when a bullrun begins where almost every coin follows btc's rally as those who cannot buy btc due to high price, go for altcoins to save fees or for investment.
1007  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are people buying BTC @ $27000+ idiots? on: December 28, 2020, 08:27:07 PM
OP, nice try to provoke others to dump btc by selling it, but it is not the retail investor this time who just pushed it higher and ended dumping it over 80%, these are huge institutions and they have been accumulating since the first bubble bursted but this bubble will be very huge this time so if anybody buys it right now, they still have the chance to withdraw some profits or break-even even if the price plunges.
1008  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is pointless if the BTC fees increases along with rise in BTC price! on: December 28, 2020, 06:12:32 PM
Nope because it would kill off mining ⛏.

Also high btc fees help other coins such as doge or ltc.

If every btc transaction was 1 sat. The network could be flooded with 1 sat transactions using 1 sat fees.

This is the best comment of this thread coming from a miner and even if not secure, it is true that high btc fees actually give a boost to other small crypto which were lost or transacted least compared to btc's daily transactions. This may increase transactions in altcoins and may increase their security too because more miners getting added daily to those coins due to higher profitability.
1009  Other / Off-topic / Re: Im Looking to raise big Capital on: December 27, 2020, 11:46:08 PM
@Op, why should anybody invest in you when you didn't bother to give us the basic details like show us any proof which justifies your claims? Even after that, why should we trust you? Even if we trust you, why should we give you our money to trade? We can do it on our own and make better profits than you. I bought BTC at 20k and sold at 26k, 30% profit in a month. I have alts and I am holding them as they are the same in USD, why should I give you my money to trade? What % are you offering here? What is the guarantee that you will not run away?  Undecided
1010  Economy / Economics / Re: All people in the real world still think everything is fine !!! on: December 27, 2020, 11:27:08 PM
@Broly46
Take a chill pill and think again. They are buying Gold and Bitcoin now, so they are doing what you wanted earlier no? What is the problem then? And you are thinking too much, there is nothing like people are using their money on phones, cars, etc. but are dealing with the bills they didn't pay during whole covid period, they are buying and stocking food for themselves and their family. They should get out to earn, if they will not earn, who will help their family to survive?
1011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: December 27, 2020, 11:07:37 PM
There are players who live on gambling, but they do it with ultimate care and lose less than an average gambler who would just lose everything by even going all in to recover their losses sometimes which is a spoiled strategy. These pro players have huge control on their addiction and love for this area that they will hold themselves easily and stop doing it when they know they are losing more.
1012  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How high do you see Ethereum going this market cycle? on: December 27, 2020, 09:20:40 PM
As all the focus is on btc and many new and interesting projects taking place in 2021, I think Ethereum will lose its hold over the markets and the pump will be very limited for it, may also not break above $1k because it has not shown any strength in going higher in this bull run and btc managed to >triple its worth now. Looking like a dilemma for the altcoins rally, Eth is still holding its key support area very tight.
1013  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Buy and Hold Really the Best Strategy in Crypto? on: December 27, 2020, 06:06:43 PM
Best for those who buy really lower and hold for a long period of time. Worst for those who buy at highs like the present one and then regret if it turns down to be a nightmare for them if the price gets down 50% in a day like we have seen every time. Selling high is good because they can get chances to buy lower again, but if a holder holds it without any need of profits, he/she will not give a damn about price today or a decade later.
1014  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is pointless if the BTC fees increases along with rise in BTC price! on: December 27, 2020, 05:44:56 PM
Why you worry so much when the bitcoin fee is high , worry about if your not earning bitcoin anymore try to find a exchange site or wallet where you can use lighting network for you to have a small fee's and   fast transaction but in my own experience i just save them all for one transaction or if i wanted to withdraw i always exchange my bitcoin into coin that my country has so it will be small fee's and then withdraw it directly into my bank. But it always up to you when you wanna do it or not because we all wishing to have small transaction fee every time we want our money out.

What to do if you have btc on an exchange which charges high for your withdrawal? You have no choice but to go for an altcoin which has less fee and still transfers at a much better speed than btc. I am not against btc or in favor of altcoins, I am against the high fees which are even more than those small transactions we pay.

It is probably the greed in the big mining companies to take advantage of the current pump by clogging the mempool by not allowing any low sat fee transactions to go through into any block and taking only high sat fee transactions for confirmations. This gives the air to the greed of other small miners too, and they also set the minimum fee higher to attract high fee transactions in their blocks.
I don't think you understand how mining works. No miner is clogging the mempool. No miner is setting a higher minimum fee. All miners are simply maximizing profits (as any sensible person would do) by taking the highest fee transactions first in to the limited space in each block.

Accepted that they take highest fee transactions first. I am sorry I blamed miners alone when the companies who pay it are equally responsible for this as they intentionally pay higher, and this cycle runs till there are more high paying entities.
1015  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTCOIN New ATH PLUS NEW RECORD AND TODAYS HISTORY on: December 27, 2020, 03:54:15 PM
I like how Bitcoin has been breaking records in regards to its price, but worried about the fees we will be paying to send our coins as a gift to our loved ones! If I want to send BTC0.001 to my daughter as a gift, I need to pay BTC0.0002 or more to get it confirmed quick. I will think twice and will send my private key only to my daughter instead of using 20% of my sendable btc as fee.

This gives the air to the greed of other small miners too, and they also set the minimum fee higher to attract high fee transactions in their blocks. We still get some chances to get our transactions confirmed but till then, we need to wait upon their mercy. Lightning Network is useful but not easy for an average guy to understand it, so those guys don't use it thinking about its complications. If you want to send quick transfers, I think altcoins like trx and xrp are good to use to save lots over fees.
1017  Economy / Economics / Re: genius idea to fix all economy best idea on: December 21, 2020, 10:45:28 PM
Nobody will value money if too much money is printed and put on the table for everyone to come and take it. There are enough debts on various countries for doing that and they are not looking back at all, which, at times during recession, proves dangerous to everyone because of a country going highly under debts. Why did Satoshi not go for a 21 billion or may be 21 gazillion btc? Why 21 million only? Think it properly.
1018  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I am not investing in Bitcoin, I am staying with Altcoins on: December 21, 2020, 10:39:06 PM
You must diversify and keep some btc, keep some altcoins and especially keep USDT in your portfolio. Both btc and usdt can be used to buy back more at a lower price once you see that the price has dumped but still believe in that coin. Keeping everything in Altcoins have a big risk here because the market crushes out everything when a crash happens.
1019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Pi Network value speculation on: December 21, 2020, 10:01:52 PM
They are just fooling people by asking them to bring more 'Pioneers'. It is good that they do everything after asking the community but their token looks a big flop in future if they are going to continue what is going on in their app.
1020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are we gonna see a new ATH this year? on: December 21, 2020, 06:39:54 PM
It is btc that has attracted all the money in it, so alts will not see the kind of bull run you expect. Bitcoin will still hold the limelight and be the superior here, lead alts towards the sky but will not let them touch it. Eth will suffer as the lock in period for Eth 2.0 is much longer and the lock in value is big too, so not much buys will be done.
