1041  Other / Off-topic / Re: Job for others country! on: January 15, 2024, 01:07:01 PM
Very possible.

Just search for that job and if a company hires you directly then they'll be able to help you out with all the documents and processes just for you to comeby and start working for them.

Many are working remotely and that's no need for any visa as long as you remain their online remote worker. But it's still a different thing when you work on an actual job from that country inside the company's premises.
and also best if he wanted to put specific country that he is targeting and also from which country he  comes from .
He definitely going to see those processes and how he can take jobs from that specific country. Most of the labor agencies are giving instructions and the processes on how a worker needs to go through for the application in the legal way.

Well, as I've mentioned the legal way.

There are a lot of workers are trying to go with the wrong route of doing an illegal way and everyone shouldn't go for that path.
1042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you be worried or comfortable seeing your elderly mother gambling? on: January 15, 2024, 11:54:50 AM
I agree.

It's her money to take care of and if she's enjoying, I'll her do her own thing but I'll just give her some reminders that she shouldn't do it to the point that everything she is going to be put on stake.

She just take it as simple as enjoyment but she needs to be fully aware that it can wipe her things and money out so, that's it. She can entertain herself with that but still needs to be careful.
There isn't much grandchildren can do anyway regards the gambling activity of their grandmothers. An elder is an adult responsible for his own acts, have lived much longer than grandchildren, therefore there is a natural belief of being wiser and more experienced, besides having their own source of income. Why would they listen to orders coming from children? If you put yourself on their shoes you will understand it. We don't like to be ordered by younger people than us and people who we consider to be less experienced, and it seems as we get older, this feeling just gets stronger.

I believe the only thing grandchildren can do, which may work, is to appeal emotionally to their grandmothers that they stop. This kind of approach can sensibilize the elders, although it's not likely to have long term impacts...
Sometimes, the younger sees the better part that the older can't see it themselves. Having some reminder won't hurt them unless they're going to take it personally.

I know that it's hard to accept when a younger person tries to give you some reminder as if they know what you've gone through. It's normal, it's okay not to listen to them but just accept the care and the thought that should count for those words that might be reminded by the younger grandchildren or son/daughter.
1043  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your advised for being a trader? on: January 15, 2024, 11:02:26 AM
Take into consideration your starting capital when you trade. The reality of trading is the higher the capital you'll have, the "chance" of earning quite high is also there so it's like an equal proportion to the capital you start with.

But small time traders can also grow their funds but it is going to take time. Don't get fooled by the successful traders that you can also be like them without going through hardships.

You take your own path and just look on your own progress.
1044  Other / Off-topic / Re: Any good offline mobile games to reccomend? on: January 14, 2024, 11:56:45 PM
To the one that has suggested Mobile Legends, you are not going to enjoy it offline. It is a battle ground or MOBA game that requires internet connection.

There is an AI mode for that game right? I would highly suggest RPG mobile games that are offline.

They are more enjoyable if you have a lot of time but when you grow older, I doubt it you will able to finish it quickly.
Yeah Mobile legends is not an offline game si maybe better for OP
To consider disregarding that one though he seems to be a fan of puzzle games that made him enjoying
But also I may advise sone tactical games like chess, games of the general and Scrabble
But of course those are old-school games that he needs to dig where to find online but Facebook has the two of those.
I like those conventional and mind games that you've mentioned. I have them before but you know as you grow older, you start to have preferred genres, consoles, etc.

I am done with the era of mobile gaming and I like more PC gaming. But sometimes when I get bored, I still have some games on my phone but most of them are games with emulators.
1045  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you be worried or comfortable seeing your elderly mother gambling? on: January 14, 2024, 10:49:53 PM
It depends on the situation.  If she has the money and enjoys gambling and it doesn't affect her daily life than more power to her.  There are a lot of people who can gamble recreationally and use it as a form of entertainment or even as a form of competition.  All good unless it alters her life negatively somehow.
I agree.

1046  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto investment vs real estate investment : Which one more dependable? on: January 14, 2024, 09:57:59 PM
Personally, I find both of these areas trustworthy. The point is that you must clearly understand your type of investment and the time to start is also very important. Crypto is more flexible in terms of investment capital, while real estate is the opposite in terms of large capital resources, even requiring mortgage to borrow from banks. The economy is going into recession in 2023 and may last until 2024, so arranging issues to choose capital sources and types of investment is important. I prefer investing in cryptocurrencies for this reason.
I like what you've said and classified both for their own weakness and strength. While crypto is for everyone that doesn't have much capital, you can always invest on this market 24/7.

And for the real estate, it's going to require you lots of money and even not might be enough to acquire the property you're going to buy and will need to get into mortgaging.

That's fine, as both of these are depending to the investor. When you make profit from cryptocurrencies, most investors are going to diversify that money to real estate.

Edit : Tundra won easily against Secret...
They are on the finals now and facing OG but the current score is 2-0. And that's two easy games for OG while Tundra is struggling at the end.

While on some other tournaments, the APAC Predator league has got a champion already and that's Blacklist Rivalry. It's obviously a sponsored tournament by Acer Predator and the price might not that much be compared to the others.

But at least, Blacklist is now a champ on that tournament.  Grin
1049  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another question? Tell me your average amount per bet and your monthly income? on: January 14, 2024, 11:24:13 AM
It is a random amount for me and it changes from time to time depending on my moods swings. Sometimes it is a few percentage of my salary.

But typically it goes just like 2-10% of my salary and I do not know how much it should be to become an aggressive one.

I know myself if I am going too much and with what I know is that I am fine with any amount O gamble.
1050  Other / Off-topic / Re: Free Resume Advice from an Experienced Professional on: January 14, 2024, 09:41:02 AM
Even with the best resume reviewers, one needa to remember about the actual job position and the company that you are applying for.

You really have to adjust your resume or cv whenever you apply for specific positions.

One generic resume for all the jobs or positions that you are applying for might work but what I am saying here is that, it is still going to depend to the company you have applied for so, mostly sell yourself out in the best that you can because every recruiter is different.
1051  Economy / Economics / Re: Vitalik Buterin's Financial Advice on: January 14, 2024, 08:00:56 AM
There is no magical with his financial advise. They are mostly common and we hear it typically from the usual financial advisors.

But he is right, in all of them I like what he said about have a boring portfolio. What boring is like? when you hear most people say and advise to buy the same thing, Bitcoin.

Some may take his advise to diversify, many might take it personally to the point that they will diversify with pump and dump coins which is wrong.
1052  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading in percentage as a risk strategy. on: January 14, 2024, 06:57:57 AM
IMO, it is best to just set any percentage of gain. Do not pressure yourself until you have mastered a strategy already that you can set a goal and you are sure and able to hit that percentage of gain.

Because the more you are going to pressure yourself, that is more challenging for you. If you are fine with that, do it.

But if you wanna go with the less pressured and less risk path you want to take, do that approach that I have said the former.

Rumors are that Tundra will not even catch a first major together in this format and I think this is all Topsons fault for actually making this esports team being how it is today. Pure transfer also didn't bring any positive improvement in their gameplay.
I don't think that topson should be blamed here, he's just contacted if he wants to play for Tundra and he just obliged and answered the call.

Tundra is on the lower bracket for the BetBoom Dacha Dubai qualifier and they're going to be against Team Tickles there in 2 hours time. And that settles their faith on the qualifier if they will proceed or not.

While for the DreamLeague qualifier, they'll be against Team Secret in 2 days time.
Yep , the game is about to start right now and I won't be surprised to see Team Tickles winning one map or the entire series.
Tundra won 2-0 and they're going to face Team Secret in less than 14 hours.

Regarding Topson , there have been words in Dota 2 pro scene from sneyking but also Skitter that since Topson arrived at Tundra ( without any of the players actually agreeing with this one )  the entire mojo and chemistry between players went away and soon after most of them left the team. Anyway , I'm so curious to see what will happen in this series against Tickles.
Ohhh, I didn't know about that.

I can understand the feeling from the former players of Tundra that there's the chemistry that they've been but if they weren't asked for any approval for the replacement and adjustment of their players since Saksa wasn't, I would also be hurt with that.

But anyway, I hope that both parties are going to be successful with their each teams and transfers.
1055  Other / Off-topic / Re: 6 Tips for Avoiding Exorbitant Bitcoin Transaction Fees on: January 13, 2024, 10:16:57 PM
Enter a Custom Fee.
Even if you want to custom the fees but if the current fees are quite high, that's not going to help. You still have to watch out the fees and wait until they drop and it's on the amount that you're okay to pay with.

Encourage Customers to Pay With Bitcoin.
As much as we want to encourage them to pay with Bitcoin, me as a business owner, I'll choose the other way when the fees are like $1-$10+.

CP3 is more likely to be traded by the GSW. It seems that he's not effective at all with the team and they need more of a big man aside from Draymond.
Yes, plus he is already an injury prone player. However, there's a big question here, since his current value is declining, not anymore at sync with the amount he is making, and we know he is earing a huge yearly salary, so is there any team that would be willing to trade their players for an old CP3?

Maybe Cp3 will be traded but the Warriors won't be able to star player in return, probably 2 or 3 role players would make the deal to be a "go".
We will see.

But that's what I think that they're about to do since it seems that they've got bunch of guards and they need to upsize through other positions.

Quote
Speaking of Dray, there is a possibility that he might get traded, right?

Not sure with that, Dray maybe a problem due to his anger issue, a dirty player but his performance are not declining. They need a player like him who could make the team play with high confidence, and we know how effective Draymond is as a leader (less dirty plays).

Actually, I am already seeing a good sign on his return as I already saw him in the couple of games where he is on the bench supporting the team. So most probably, the league or the GSW had already disciplined him, or whatever their agreement is to merit a comeback.
I guess that it won't happen then since his connection with the key players is at best shape and that's what the GSW is going to protect for their own legacies.

Anyway, I wish him whole recovery and best of luck to his games.

Nearing the trade deadline,

there are many speculation about trading Wiggins and maybe they are just working quietly with the team that they are
targeting to negotiate the trade, another one is CP3, not sure but i also seeing some social post regarding to possibility that
they are placing CP3 to trade negotiation.

In terms of Lakers, not really sure if how they will work with the Hawks knowing that Murray's value might be more than what they can
offer for the team, let see if how this trade deadline will change the face of this season.
We'll just be surprised with their announcements soon.
1059  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the world soon become tired of the US dollar? on: January 13, 2024, 10:53:54 AM
It has became the standard of many countries and with BRICS, I think that it's going to take time with the Chinese Yuan being their main standard and flag bearer of this alliance.

I am for any change that's going to be beneficial for most people but as much as I can see, there's no clear winner here if the concern is all about the people.

These interests are just for their superpowers, economical boasts and status although citizens are affected but it's not all about the people.
1060  Economy / Economics / Re: In times of Crisis and uncertanities toilet paper can be new currency on: January 13, 2024, 10:37:54 AM
Good luck hoarding that.

But I don't see any sense on it, maybe if you go to the countries that has an hyperinflation that can make a sense since groceries like including the toilet papers are limited in supply.

And you rarely get them when you shop to countries like Venezuela, I have no idea with US and Australia. Maybe if you're from there and some shortage happens, congratulations to your strategy.
