1061  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice Feedback Competition! 0.10 BTC in prizes! 🔶 on: January 30, 2017, 02:23:30 PM
YD UID: 9110
Feedback:
I found out about YoloDice because of the topic i am currently making about the Top 5 Dice affiliate programs so obviously after finding out about how the affiliate program works i was intrigued to join and check it out.

Things i liked:
  • the affiliate program (the 10% site's profit pool in addition to 20% wagered) sounds very good
  • design was nice and smooth which makes the site open up fast and easy even with slower connections.
  • i like the fact that site also offers an investment option and more importantly it shows a nice stats with numbers, charts and with different intervals,... in short very informative.
  • also loved the graph in the player's profile
  • also loved the live results in the watch tab (site profit, wagered,...)
  • the transparency of the site about money is good.
  • also loved the fact that you took advantage of the BIP-21 so that i can click instead of copy paste the bitcoin address

things that i didn't like (suggestions):
  • the referral links start with # like .com/#r-something this makes the links not work on most forums because of # mark
  • the fact that different parts are sepearated. for example play is one place, chat is another page (tab) it would have been better if they were on top of each other like chat oppening in a box over the main page (like other sites)
  • the bet page is a bit complicated Cheesy (mostly the buttons: M, A, ...) it takes getting used to.
  • it would be great if there were a "verify" button in bet result page (the page that appears when clicking on the bet number e.g. Bet #11974930 this page should have a verify button) although i see the seed and verify elsewhere which is good enough too.
  • in autobet if there was an option to switch between Hi Lo automatically on win/lose/eachbet it was better.
1062  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If the states interfere with the bitcoin developer team? on: January 30, 2017, 02:11:26 PM
didn't one of those 3 letter agencies asked Gavin Andereson for questioning about bitcoin once or twice in the past?! Grin

anyways i said that to say nothing is going to change about bitcoin, it will remain as it is, you can't shut down a peer to peer network that easily.
1063  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If i have to invest 300 usd. Which alt coins would you suggest ? on: January 29, 2017, 03:17:59 PM
if you want to invest fiat then do yourself a favor and invest it in bitcoin because that is the best thing you can find around here. after that you have to learn trading if you want to invest in any of the altcoins in my opinion because altcoins these days are a trading game, those who can find them soon will win and their reward is going to be big and those who get in late or forget to get out with lose big time.
1064  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Money laundering via BTC on: January 29, 2017, 03:10:05 PM
I don't think that Bitcoin is popular method for money laundering. Just look at market cap and daily volume - it is too small. Money laundering is done via the old channels and they do not need Bitcoins. Swiss banks welcomes all  Smiley

About 15 Swiss banks reportedly in money laundering 'red zone'

it is because many people think money laundering is just changing a 100 dollar bill to 5x 20 dollar bills or sending 10BTC to a mixer and getting 10BTC clean!!!
that is not it at all. money laundering means you put dirty money in your business or something similar and report it as your legit earning. for example you have a restaurant and at the end of the month you say you had 1000 more customers than you really had, pay the taxes and have it as clean money.
1065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [TOP 5] Dice sites affiliate program. on: January 29, 2017, 02:54:48 PM
- why you are limiting yourself on listing out only 5 programs. Try to list all available and trusted sites on OP.
just wondering that why only top 5

here is how i see things:
you either play at a casino or like one particular casino already, which means you know their affiliate program and you can check any time you want easily by opening the webpage of that casino. there is no point for a list here.

or you are looking for a good casino to join its affiliate program, you won't do it for every single one of them, that would be foolish. in that case you want the one that is famous, trusted and pays the highest percentage. and that is where a list comes in to help choose 1 or 2 of them to join.

1066  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which altcoin is going to the moon now that BTC is stable. on: January 29, 2017, 02:47:02 PM
I don't think any big whale want to wake LTC up, almost all big guns abandoned ship already.

this is what i always hear everyone say whenever there is an stable LTC price or there is a dip, and this actually is the main reason why they call litecoin an sleeping Giant.
it always wakes up and surprises everyone.

Quote
ETH still have a big community but they get hurt after latest hardfork. I don't know people want to touch that, volume is lower than normal times.

volume is low because price is stable, and not much change there.
and besides ETH is the most manipulated coin in the history, whales don't just give their power up just like that.

Quote
I think we will see bigger pumps in fairly new coins rather than oldboys like LTC, ETH. Pascal, Qora, Nexium and Lbry Credits are good examples for that.

i agree. bigger pumps always come from newer coins, where there is less spread and more manipulation.
1067  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the altcoin era over ? on: January 29, 2017, 02:39:12 PM
pump and dumps and the fact that cryptocurrecy source code is open source is killing them. every time you blink a new altcoin is created and its price goes down to 0 just as fast.
and then there is big projects that are supposed to be good and you see them being pump and dumped
and then you look at their adoption, and there is nothing there. you can't find a damn shop in the whole world that is accepting an altcoin payment.
1068  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is everything so silent these days around here? on: January 29, 2017, 02:33:22 PM
bitcoin has been stable and things were "silent" for a long time. a quick look at the past two years i can say we had only two major rallies, one recently to $1100+ and an another one a while back during the halving hype.

and in all the other times, price has been slowly creeping up with times like this when price becomes too stable and seems like not wanting to move.
1069  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal? on: January 29, 2017, 02:27:16 PM
the only thing bitcoin needs is adoption, nothing else matters. if someday we can see a mass adoption happen, where every place you look has a "bitcoin is accepted here" sign then we can start thinking about overcoming and replacing bad services such as paypal and all those other online payment processors that exist today. they are all for yesterday and bitcoin is for the new age.
1070  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More than 50,000 unconfirmed transactions on: January 28, 2017, 12:42:09 PM
More unconfirmed transactions are good - more transactions = growth. It is growing pains, that is a good thing, not a bad thing.

BTC will be worth a lot more in the future IMHO. The block size issue will be solved.  Cool

This is not good, it frustrates new users getting into BTC, just imagine you are pitched that you will get 10mins confirmation for a service and its end up lasting 24hrs, you are going to be frustrating.  I just hope the block size issue will be resolved soon
Yeah for new people this would be a nightmare because we introduce them bitcoins as instant payment system and then they see their payment being held up for 24 hours and even more. Plus they get worried when we tell them about fees and all and ultimately loosing a bitcoiner Sad

if we don't lie to them, telling it is free to send bitcoin, and things like that they will never have any problems. and besides new people work with new tools, and all the wallets that i have seen have upgraded their system, suggesting new fees that are more compatible with that time current network state so i seriously doubt that any new members are going to have any problem with their transactions taking up to 24 hours.
it is the old users who change the suggested fee to lower amount instead and end up waiting.
1071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The calm before the litecoin storm. on: January 28, 2017, 12:30:53 PM
sadly i can not open youtube so maybe someone can fill me in on it or possibly add some explanation.

but i have always believed in litecoin and i don't need any proof about it. the development is most important reason for its success and it has an active team.

i personally am waiting for the SegWit on litecoin hype to kick in and we see a huge rise, and i am talking literary huge as in going to 0.03BTC price at the very least.
1072  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low do you think the chinese volume will go, now that PBOC is auditing them? on: January 28, 2017, 12:23:13 PM
Seems like we're either going to try to rest mid-high $900's again. If we keep trying and continue failing, we're bound to go down eventually. But it seems as of right now, all things are well, better even without China.

Yes I can see another attempt coming to break the $1000 again.
If we should fail we will probably go down. How much has to be seen then.
In terms of China it's not like they don't exist anymore. It's just that there role is not that much significant as many thought.I see this as a good thing.Especially for a possible future ETF approval. Very good sign for investors imo.

you speak as if it is a sports game where the athlete tries to beat a record and gives up after a while! Cheesy

price moves up based on the demand and the attention it is getting, and that is rising with new investors coming in and buying more bitcoin and also all those whales who sold a while back to create panic are not accumulating again. and price will go up because of these things.

in case market was not ready to break $1000 and by any chance there were some resistance, it will come down to previous levels (at this point it is $920) and start up again.
1073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [TOP 5] Dice sites affiliate program. on: January 28, 2017, 12:17:24 PM
I don't understand:

-) DuckDice.io
House edge: 1% Fix
Affiliate commission: 15% of house edge (0.0015%) on only bets made with deposited coins.
Has special banners: No
Altcoins: LTC, Doge

1% of house edge, fine.
Then 15% of HE is the commission

So it means commision is 0.15% of every bet, not 0.0015%
Do I miss something?

things that i am not sure about or wasn't explained properly on the site and i don't have a personal experience with to be sure are written at the bottom.

the percentage of the commission as you can see in the example is usually a percentage of the house edge. when they say 15% of the house edge it means 15%*1% = 0.0015%

i say this based on experience with my referrals and amount i earn from them. i check their wagered amount vs the amount casino paid me.
1074  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin 20 Years From Now on: January 28, 2017, 12:12:01 PM
There is a possubility that there will be less amount off bitcoin users and there may be another type if currency which will totally take away the market .otherwise it might happen that bitcoins is totally taking over the currency.

It will not happen, there will be no single digital currency or alternative coin in cryptocurrency world that will replace bitcoin
. Though the rise of fiat digital currency is a big threat but bitcoin will surely survive and will continue to grow. As some experts in cryptocurrency would say that bitcoin will reach ten thousand dollars or it may even reach 1 million dollars each.
We can't be sure about that, bitcoin was not popular if not because of use, once people loses their trust with bitcoins, any altcoins might surge high and will replace bitcoin. Don't erase that possibilities, anything could happen but there is only one thing that is sure, crypto currencies cannot replace fiat digital currencies.
Another coin will be very difficult to replace bitcoin due to its capitalization, at the moment there is no even close contenders, and if there will be another coin that it will need to take a long way to get to the level of bitcoin.

I think if Bitcoin failed to evolve some altcoin will take its place.  It maybe hard to comprehend at this point but Bitcoin's current situation is somehow confusing because of different group of developers who wanted to push Bitcoin development in their own way.  If Bitcoin does not resolve this problem, this will bring Bitcoin to its demise.

no that is not going to happen because at some point we will be forced to adapt to the new needs and change (evolve) to match the new needs. for example the bigger blocks. and if things continue like this bitcoin will split and the chain that doesn't scale will die.

with all that said, this is long way down the line maybe even 1-2 years or more. right now blocks may be full but there are lots of spam attacks that makes them full and make the mempool grow too big.

if you see the mempool size it is 99% of the time normal size.
1075  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi? Why did he hide his identity? on: January 28, 2017, 12:06:25 PM
I think we all know that satoshi is the one who created  with the help of other's of course,
and he hides him/herself because of all the government that is hunting him/her because of tax evasion
i don't think if he is still earning from it as a creater of it he doesn't have any problem in gaving tax to the government i think there are some other reason that we can't judge.....

He probably isn't earning from it but he probably got hundreds of thousands of Bitcoins in his wallets. I wish I had at least 10BTC since Bitcoin was $1, but I was too late at the party so I got my first ones since Bitcoin was $1100. He should have known this project will go big.

some speculations say satoshi owns about 1 million coins. but i say all of it is irrelevant, and if you wanted you should have gotten in when price was low and it is still not late.
it was not long ago when price was $200 and people were saying the same thing about wishing price was lower. and some point everyone has to stop wishing and start acting.
1076  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'd like to get some bitcoins. Is now a good time to do so? on: January 27, 2017, 04:46:01 PM
I'm planning on getting a fraction of a bitcoin. Maybe about 1/4 or 1/8 BTC just to fill my wallet with something. Is now a good time to do so?

Now is not good time to buy bitcoin, lets just earn some bitcoin from signature campaign right now, sell it, and makes price going down. Wait bitcoin under $600, buy it,forget it, and sell it before new year eve 2018 maybe its going to $1100 again Wink

If you want to wait for bitcoin to reach 600 to buy again, I think you are going to wait forever because I don't think we are going to see that price any time soon if ever, so the best strategy is to buy bitcoin when there is a decrease in price but nothing as you suggest.

Well its just my sugestion. Do you knows about the future of bitcoin? Why you so confident its never ever go down to $600 FOREVER?
Dont you see so much issue that telling you bitcoin is going down?
Ah i see it now, you can see the future, forgive me.
Tell me what you see about bitcoin in the end of 2018. Thanks

you strategy is full of mistakes.
- even if you sell what you earn from your signature campaign it is still too small to have any effect!
- you say lets wait for the price to go down to $600 and then buy. i ask you why $600? you are just saying a random number or do you actually have a reason for that? why not $700 or $400?
- and the most important question of all: why do you even think bitcoin price is going down? you can't just say random stuff.

what we saw so far is a huge resistance around $800 which could not be broken despite all the dumps and FUD that they throw at it. only 300,000 bitcoins were traded on bitfinex during the past 3 weeks after the $1160 price and they were mostly dumps (they were more on bitstam and even more on Chinese markets)
and despite all that price came back up to $900 and new resistance levels are shaping up again.
now you tell me who is going to break these?
1077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Short Term Crypto investment. Ethereum classic on: January 27, 2017, 04:16:24 PM
first let me say that we are going to see a nice ETH and ETC pump in the near future.

Why?
1st of all it have one the biggest market cap among under $2 Crypto Currencies. Which is about $118,086,794.
2sd The lowest point this coin ever went was $.77. Even then the Market cap was about $70+ Million.

in your both arguments you are using the market cap which is not a good comparison and will always give you wrong information in altcoin market. instead just look at the volume.
and about 2 i have to say the bottom is also important, you should check to see which price is the new bottom.

Quote
3rd there is a huge community dedicated due to Idealistic reasons. They estimate this could go up to $22. (I highly doubt it).

this is most probably will be the biggest reason for the possible rises as it has always been.

Quote
4thMicrosoft is looking into it.

nonsense.
Microsoft is not interested in any of the altcoins. the platform called Azure allows adding of many altcoins, and apart from hype it has no other effect.

Quote
Traders perspective.
Last year the coin touched its 52 week low $0.77. Since then It have risen up to $2(52 week high) .
Then it fell down to $1.17. With a week this rose up to 1.45.
Then it fell down to $1.35. Trading between $1.29- 1.35
IN my option $1.30 is the resistance line.
And in the upcoming weeks this is very likely to go up.
And if you wait long enough IT WILL Touch $2 Again. Bc in my option this coin is worth $2.

Disclaimer: This is only my perspective!!!

you should've added a chart instead of all this!
1078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Compilation List] Dice sites affiliate program. on: January 27, 2017, 04:02:34 PM
Hey don't forget KingDice.com  Cool

We are pretty new, but we are able to provide custom affiliate % on custom requests Wink

i can not open the website for some reason! but i checked out your announcement topic and added to the first post because of the custom offers.

I think it's a good idea to have only best dice affiliate sites. perhaps you should consider increasing the sites to 10?

no after some point adding any more than 3 to 5 becomes pointless because they are mostly having 1% house edge with 10% reward with nothing different.
1079  Economy / Speculation / Re: The only way to get rich is by riding the next big alt pump on: January 27, 2017, 03:42:31 PM
Thats what i was saying in another thread. This is the right moment to take the alts train, cause even if BTC goes up or down you will win money. Im all in at ETC, ETH, DOGE, and XMR.

Actually  that is inaccurate
If btc doubles or triples in 2017 you will have lost money on all those shitcoins and unlikely to catch up such a lead....

Saying that, I hold some SDC because I like the project and feel it's very undervalued but obviously btc is safer than any shitcoins.... No matter how good you think they are....

what he said is mostly incomplete.
obviously bitcoin is the only choice that is safe and you can trust in the long term. at least you can say it is by far safer.

but that doesn't mean you can not make profit from altcoins. so far whenever bitcoin price slows down for example like these days that we are at 900 +-20, most traders go to altcoin market to make more bitcoin and come back when price is 900 +- 100 for instance.

this means you have to catch the train in a right moment.
1080  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin needs altcoins because ... on: January 27, 2017, 03:36:09 PM
Bitcoin needs Altcoin to sustain the demand pressure, most Altcoins trade on most exchanges are against BTC and not fiat, also some ICOs like ICONOMI and Chronobank allowed fiat deposit but this was converted into BTC

But we all know that these BTC will be converted sooner or later,  And the way you stated it, it was the other way around.  It is the altcoin that needed BTC because these altcoins are traded mostly in BTC.  And some ICO needs BTC for them to crowdfund the project.

this is just another topic with the same argument about bitcoin versus altcoins. there is already another one of these in this board called bitcoin without altcoins!
and so far out of all these arguments and some spam, and among all these altcoins none of them have contributed or otherwise to bitcoin apart from making some traders richer and some lose money.
