1081  Economy / Reputation / Re: Using trust rating for a death threat TMAN, foxpup and lauda. on: November 05, 2019, 01:02:44 PM
so what you 3 people want to remove those ratings? you clearly talked between yourselves, and this has nothing to do with trust.
I added the other two people that you likely have sent this to. They can hereby witness my answer: You can royally fuck off.

Death will precede my removal of this rating.
1082  Other / Meta / Re: [POLL] The Official Dirty Turds Poll - Which DT needs flushing first ??????????? on: November 04, 2019, 12:28:46 PM
According to several sources the average person types 40 words per minute. Assuming that CH is average, could someone scrape all of CH's posts and calculate how many hours he has wasted so far?
Even if you used 100 WPM, the conclusion is: Lifeless. This is a good job for Loyce, get right to it chap.
1083  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: A pretty straightforward question about newly generated addresses in Armory on: November 04, 2019, 10:10:11 AM
Yes, change addresses are automatically generated. Make sure that if you are making manual transactions (using a console or something) to NOT FORGET to specify where the change is going to (otherwise the whole amount will be added as fees).
1084  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Type-1 Flag] Account Sales on: November 02, 2019, 09:49:48 PM
His suggestion/request just overcomplicates the situation even further.
Yes, the complications would even generate a lot of heat around about the account trading topic. You can imagine it.. Roll Eyes
Keeping it simple is better.

Did theymos gave you that good looking costume title feature because you were in bed with him ? I mean I have seen costume titles on just mods and donator's profile around.
He confirmed that we've been in bed since forever while answering to some trolls. You just need to find it. Tongue
1085  Other / Meta / Re: DefaultTrust changes on: November 02, 2019, 08:15:35 PM
This seems to me the system is working as intended and spreading out the Default trust as opposed to having it be a core group.
It's not flawless though, there are for instance still 4 banned users on DT2:
Wouldn't a simple solution to this be that if you're banned you're no longer eligible for DT1 and DT2?
1086  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Type-1 Flag] Account Sales on: November 02, 2019, 06:47:10 PM
The type-1 flag tagging looks good approach to mark sold accounts but there must be a universal format for that.
That would just mean forum going against it's own rule of accounts sales being allowed here.
His suggestion/request just overcomplicates the situation even further. Next thing you know, they'll want me to run behavioural analysis to confirm that it isn't the same user and then run standardized assessments on whether their overall presence is more harmful than beneficial. Cheesy I'm going to reject it clearly, and continue with the proposed work.
1087  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Questions regarding security on: November 02, 2019, 09:33:31 AM
The beauty of Coinkite hardware wallet is that you never have to connect it online. However, I am thinking: how can I be sure that the BIP39 seed they generate for me is actually randomly generated and not pre-programmed into the device?
Is it open source? If yes, you can verify this. If not, you can not verify this.

For example could Coinkite or Ledger could pre-program 1000's of seeds into the devices so that they know there is a high probability that I end up using one of these seeds?
Of course, this is trivial to do.

I just don't want having to trust a 3rd party, if it can't be guaranteed that these seeds are in fact generated randomly I will just have to generate my own private key using dice rolls via the Glacier Protocol.
I find it unlikely that anyone who has mentioned the Glacier Protocol in this context (on the forum; from what I've seen) has the sum of money that requires something like the Glacier Protocol. A simple air-gapped system which you wipe afterwards is fine.
1088  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Type-1 Flag] Account Sales on: October 31, 2019, 06:19:03 PM
You're boring me; I'll just do whatever I the fuck I want as thermos is clearly in bed with me. Kiss

Reference sake: You're asked to not respond to non-responses such as this one. Don't bore me even more by forcing me to use local rules to get rid of you.
1089  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Type-1 Flag] Account Sales on: October 31, 2019, 12:08:21 PM
Let's see if laudas pal/alt account that was likely sold will get a flag.

Nutildah

http://web.archive.org/web/20190704162438/https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1622642.0
He will not, no and I will actively oppose such a flag. I consider Nutildah to be against my principles nowadays to be straight.
1090  Economy / Reputation / Re: Veleor blamed his power as DT, give negative trust blindly on: October 31, 2019, 12:05:51 PM
I've opened a flag against OP: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=934.
1091  Economy / Reputation / Re: ★ Alarming information about the crypto exchange "crex24" ★ on: October 31, 2019, 08:44:24 AM
Not sure why you're being rude or why did you crop part of my post, leaving out my reasoning and points, but sure... open a flag against them.
I don't give a fuck about your points, go away already you shitposting twat.

Thanks for creating the flag. Supported from my end and they deserve much. I have added the flag link on main thread.
Thanks. My  support will stand unless there is a complete revamp of these policies as well as the resolution of such outstanding cases. However, the probability of this happening is very slim. Exchanges like this should be obliterated and the people behind them instantly imprisoned.
1092  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: generating unlimited address from same wallet ? on: October 31, 2019, 07:40:11 AM
any idea on this ?
Yes, this is a shitpost like most of your other posts.
do you even uderstand what i am asking ?
The answer to your original shitpost is: Yes.

i wish to light wallets, but xpub generates only 20 address, how do you work with GAP limit and get new address without requiring a transaction of old ones !
This was not there before. This xpub claim is wrong. Use a proper tool or code the derivation yourself.

1094  Economy / Reputation / [Type-1 Flag] Account Sales on: October 31, 2019, 07:36:21 AM
You've asked, and I've delievered.

Agreed, creating a type-1 flag for sold accounts is an appropriate usage of the system. Individual cases can be debated on their merits, though; for example, these points of view could all be defended:
 - Some people think that trading an account is an inherently untrustworthy act in 100% of cases.
 - Some people think that trading an account is usually untrustworthy, but is OK if it's made extremely clear that the account traded hands.
 - Some people think that trading an account is OK unless active deception is used (eg. lying in order to say, "this is not a sold account").
 - Some people think that a little lying is not enough for even a type-1 flag, and a flag is only merited if there's also some additional underlying shady behavior; in other words, account trading can only further degrade an existing untrustworthy act, but cannot be considered flag material in itself.

I specifically do not want to decide which of the above is correct. The flag is an appropriate usage of the system in any case, though.
Tl;dr: It is a correct use of the system to flag any sold account using flag type-1. I'll be this thread as a dumping ground for names and just use it as a reference for everything; feel free to join.

Note: Quote is clearly from my... private time... with thermos. Kiss
1095  Economy / Reputation / Re: Hacked or sold profiles tagged by Veleor on: October 30, 2019, 03:10:37 PM
I'm really bought this account, I've never denied it.
Thank you for the evidence, now fuck off.
1096  Economy / Reputation / Re: ★ Alarming information about the crypto exchange "crex24" ★ on: October 30, 2019, 03:07:01 PM
Being that Crex24 is officially the exchange with the highest number of dead & scamcoins (yes, they've managed to beat Yobit), and that they've taken no steps to remedy anything, it's time to kick this up a notch:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=929

Blaming exchanges for what they list is just stupid.
Or maybe it is YOU who is just stupid. Go away with your wanking shitposts and let the adults handle life.

-snip-
The conclusion from that is: The existence of men is pointless and will soon not be necessary. Our future AI overlords will realize this, and shall start exterminating males as soon as the tables turn. Don't try creating arguments mr. r0ach when your IQ is even challenged by early monkey specimen. Kiss
1098  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 30, 2019, 01:03:31 PM
Sadly, this may be correct: the price will fluctuate in the region from upper 4 digits to lower 5 digits for years.
Complete shitpost.

Cycles are not getting longer. We just had a 40% gain in 1 day, last 2 times that occurred was when bitcoin was $5 and the other time was when it was $.040.
Humans are flawed imbeciles. If you look for a specific pattern long enough, you will find it given your bias. It is the exact opposite of what you should be doing, i.e. trying to explain the data objectively and not look for your most-beloved pattern. Most of the TA and 'history repeats itself' or 'history doesn't repeat itself' is nonsense both ways.
