OP and devs, do you have any updates on the project? Not much news here. Neither on the website or your Twitter account. I hope this is not just another good idea gone lost.

Any news? Thx in advance!
1082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Change - The First Decentralysed Crypto Bank [ICO September 16th] on: May 09, 2019, 05:00:04 PM
We will see, maybe you are still holding this coin so you are still optimistic.

Of course I am holding. It's not a secret, I've just said it a few posts ago, I am there from the very start - I'll quote myself:

I'm in this from the beginning so I can only hope and wish for the best for this project, and this kind of news is what we need exactly.

That does not necessarily mean I am optimistic though. Only hopeful and wishful. I've seen too many scams and dead projects to be optimistic, so that would be quite naive.
1083  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Change - The First Decentralysed Crypto Bank [ICO September 16th] on: May 08, 2019, 06:40:53 PM
There's also more and more posts on Facebook and they even posted a video online whilst buying a sandwich in a shop with their card.

We'll see very soon, but I don't think it's a scam.

En verkocht? Altijd leuk te horen hoe het afloopt, en mogen we dan ook weten om welke winkel het ging?  Smiley

A member of the Telegram community has confirmed he received his Change payment card today!

I'm in this from the beginning so I can only hope and wish for the best for this project, and this kind of news is what we need exactly.
1086  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Thorough analysis: Terms&Conditions & Privacy on crypto exchanges !BE WARNED! on: April 25, 2019, 06:33:26 PM
Damn time flies. You've hardly turned your back and before you know it, those darned Terms and Conditions have changed again. Wink Haven't had enough time to follow everything up and honestly, it requires a lot of work, but I am trying to keep up as much as possible.

I've freshened up Binance 2. 3. 4. and 5. and will update 1. which has also changed a bit, asap! Further on some modest fine-tuning for Mercatox.

Don't hesitate to add a post if you want me to screen an other exchange for you.

Also, please let us know, should you have had any serious conflict with any of the exchanges in the far or near past. I am quite sure a lot of the other BTCT members could benefit if you could inform us about any such cases or issues and especially about the result and solving of the conflict.

Is there any news about the delivery which they promised? For swap it is horrible but if they can hale it then it will not make problem though they have to faced few additional task which will cost money and time.

There is indeed finally official news. I am moderately optimistic.

The article is very clear and the final decision of the swap will remain subject to a community vote.

https://blog.getchange.com/change-token-swap-issuance-of-equity-like-tokens/

It seems the project took off on a bad start after having had some issues and discussions about the Bounty rewards. However, concerning the content and development of the project in itself, I'd dare to say the ride has been rather faultless.

FYI, the roadmap for the swap, followed by the community vote. It seemed to me some of these dates are important enough to copy them here:

Quote
Important details:

14 Apr 2019 Release of token swap terms and CNG characteristics

1 Jul 2019 Release of updated token swap web page and FAQ

1 Sept 2019 Enable sending CAG to Change mobile application

1 Jan 2020 CNG trading on Change mobile application

1 Jan – 31 Dec 2020 Swapping period on a decreasing ratio

31 Dec 2020 Latest possible expiration date and equity conversion

If 51% vote in favor:

20 Dec 2019 Latest delivery day of the first CNG token

1 Jan 2020 CNG trading on Change mobile application

1 Jan – 31 Dec 2020 Swapping period on a decreasing ratio

If 51% vote against:

20 Dec 2019 All CAG will be returned to the original wallets

Dead already. Unfortunately I lost a lot of money on this project.  Cry

You should check out their Telegram channel though. I do not feel the need to present myself as the eBTC spokesman or defender, on the contrary, I have proven in the past to support this project with quite a critical attitude - just read my posts in this thread from the last months.

However, there's still some things to consider.

There's a new website, with a new roadmap, which have been launched in recent days. There's a "new" team working for almost a year now behind the scenes to get this back on track. At least, that's what they claim on their Telegram channel. They are by the way very active on Telegram and constantly communicating and answering questions.

And last but not least, the "Independent eBTC community channel" on Telegram was closed down on March 31st 2019, because they do not see the need for an independent channel any longer, since they believe in the new dev team. Looks like a very good sign to me.

Do all these points give us a reason to celebrate? Of course not. We've heard a lot of these promises from a lot of projects which simply died or were scams and which abused our trust, money and hopes.

However, I see no problem in giving this dev team at least the benefit of the doubt. In the end: what have we got to lose? We are at scratch right now. Bottom has been reached anyway, and the only way out - if any - is the way up.

So to conclude: yup, we all have huge doubts about this. But to call the project "dead" would be intellectually incorrect.

Thanks, nearly missed it too, damn! Smiley Spread the world people, this airdrop is still active as we speak.

My pleasure if i could provide some help Smiley Nauticus is one of few good projects around !! Smiley

Well, I fear there's already A LOT of exchanges around, but if they continue to be as active as they are now, this could indeed turn out to be a nice little pearl.

I also hope they will respect VERY strict rules for adding new coins and keep their exchange radically closed for even the slightest risk of scam or shitcoins. The time of P&D coins should be over by now, and I hope Nauticus will never lend its support to these P&D projects.

Looks like they added a new list of tradable coins recently. No idea where this one's going but they could try and add a little bit of important news on the forum from time to time...
1092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FLiK on: April 06, 2019, 01:33:03 PM
I have no experience with US court action whatsoever. But last time I checked, rule of law was still applicable. Wink Does anyone know if and how we can get our money back? What actions to take?

For those of you who are too lazy to read the whole article, here's the essential part of it:

Quote
Once Felton had access to the proceeds from the FLiK token sales in his Wells Fargo Bank account, he used these proceeds to purchase" the house at 75 Abington Court for approximately $1.5 million, the federal investigators charge in the court filing.

Felton also allegedly used the investors' money to buy a Chevrolet Tahoe and luxury goods, such as a Ferrari and jewelry, federal investigators allege.

No Lambo though. What a disappointment. Cool

Reading large blocks of text in opening posts. Well I skipped through it, and only read about 4 lines. Smiley

I grant the guy the 1 Merit he received in return for the time he spent writing these large blocks of text.

Not sure if it should have been posted in the Serious Discussion though. More like "Making it sound serious even though it's not discussion".
1095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: VOISE - Revolution of the music industry on: April 06, 2019, 12:53:09 PM
Looks like another project has abandoned BTCTalk.

That being said, while we were waiting for more news about the swap a few days ago, the CRO let us know on Telegram that there would be a little waiting time because he had been in an accident and needed time to fill out the insurance administration. I truly feel for the guy because it's a pain in the ass, the administration is often worse than the accident itself.

However - and let me say this precisely, before someone would feel the need to call me a FUDer: I've been holding since it became available at the very beginning on CoinExchange a loooong time ago. Also, I'm a decentralization supporter and a music fan. I've been following closely since then - proof is I'm still here. So this counts as a disclaimer for what I am about to say.

Honestly, if the publication of such important and essential information about an urgent swap after a hack depends on the personal life and schedule of one single person, I really ask myself how this project could become something big in the future. I have no doubt the people behind this project have the best intentions, however I would not even call this management but plain amateurish behavior and unless something impressive happens (no idea how they will do that with so few people), this Voise thing will go nowhere.

And I hope I'm wrong.

Maar (voorlopig?) enkel Ethereum-based support.

Looks like someone overtook this account somewhere between July and December 2016, when this user miraculously from Chinese to English, which is only my speculation and impossible to prove, I guess.

What is not impossible to prove, is the fact that the guy only talks bullshit. His favorite jokes, his favorite erectile ingredients (bananas for their potassium), and even his favorite shoes. He even mentions how great he feels when he receives Merit...... Which he actually never did. Smiley

I checked some of his older Chinese posts. If Google Translate was right, these posts are even worse.
