I found your PAtrike competition
https://minerstat.com/algorithms

Since this program, which I don't know if it is new or not, can have as many AL-GOS that we don't have in AW, as a better statistical system can have for Worker. With what it cost me to learn AW and with the license I have I will not change, because it also has bad things like that needs aftherburner in each machine and a thousand more things. But the statistics per worker, the huge amount of new AL-GOS that do not exist in AW and anything else, catches my attention.

In fact I have found several currencies there in exotic AL-Gos, which we do not have added in AW, because the data providers are half dead, especially COintomine is quite inactive and with very crazy data. When I analyze a currency and put the real and dynamic data such as nethash, difficulty etc ... and change the calculation formula to the complete one. The coins are falling, so Cointomine is giving us very poor quality data.

I will have to try the other program to see the coins and the new AL-GOS and the coins related to them.
The number of algorithms on their page you linked to is 143. I just checked Awesome Miner and it contains 142 algorithms. So the number of algorithms are about the same, but there are probably some algorithms that are only available in Awesome Miner and some only in Minerstat. I try to include all the popular algorithms, but the coin developers are introducing new algorithms all the time so there are of course always room for improvements.

If there are some specific algorithms you want me to add in Awesome Miner, please let me know. As you probably know, it's of course also possible to manually add custom algorithms and coins in Awesome Miner (via the Options dialog).

Hi to community.

Please, advice with the GPU Clocking Profiles in v7.0.6
There is a profile created with such strings:
Power Limit 70
Core Clock Boost 175
Memory Clock Boost 600
Temperature Limit 65

This is NVIDIA 1060 rig.

The Profile is set in miner properties -> GPU CLocking Profiles -> Apply ... when starting -> Profile name. This is applied at the miner start to all GPUs, it's OK. But later, after some time, there is a need to change overclocking settings, and there is a separate Profile is created. It's applying via the rule, by time (but the manual applying has the same result).
The problem is, the profile is applying only to GPU0, and all other GPUs are not affected. Both, via the rule, and if applied manually via the right-click menu.

I've read the guide, and there is said:
Quote
If a system consist of similar GPU's where the clocking settings are to be the same - a single clocking profile can be used to apply the setting to all GPU's.
But this is not working Sad Even tried to create clocking profile group, tried to put there vendor, or pci bus ID's, or GPU name - no result, OC settings applying only for GPU0.

Pleae, advice, is this a bug, or I did something wrong?
Thanks for the question. It sounds like you do everything correctly, but the behavior in Awesome Miner may not be fully consistent here. When you manually (or via Rule) apply a profile it will only be applied for the specific GPU that was used to create the profile.

Using a Clocking Group Profile should however have worked. If you define Matching rule as "GPU Name" and the expression as "1060" - a rule that is using this Clocking Group Profile should apply it to all your nVidia 1060 GPU's. If this isn't working, could you please send me the Awesome Miner Remote Agent log file via e-mail and let me know the time you applied the clocking? Thanks!

But custom pools will be accessible only if user explicit  set checkboxes in "Profit switching" or put pools in in additional pools for profit switching area.
I will look into improving this to make it possible to use more of the profit switching pools during benchmark, even if they are unchecked in the Options dialog.

@GoRdiE thx for idea, looks like this can work. And first i will try override pool settings on "miner" level instead to create new profile for each miner
Man, man, man, so many many settings in AM !!! I am use program since 3 years and dont know all settings)))

@patrike Than you can, improve "Bulk Edit" function for "profit miners" object and add "override pool settings"

upd: @GoRdiE, override pool settings on "Profit profile " level is better. I can add more pools for profit switching, on miner level, you cant add user defined pools to profit switching.
By using the Profit Profile as you stated in your update, I assume there isn't much need to the bulk-edit request for Managed Profit Miner.

Thanks to GoRdiE for the suggestion as well.

Hi Patrik,

On the new feature to show Exchange balances, I'm having an issue with a couple of holdings I have on Bittrex.  They both show N/A for the dollar value.

One coin is RVN and I think the reason is that AM still think this coin is tied to X16r.  That changed to X16rv2 after the fork.  Don't see a place in AM where I can change it.  I was able to change down along the bottom of the AM window where I can keep tabs of 15 different coins.

The other coin is BURST which I know is pretty obscure, but is carried by CoinGecko, so perhaps adding them as a Statistics Provider would take care of it?

EDIT: I was able to fix the BURST coin issue by adding it as a custom coin and pulling the value from CoinGecko.

Thanks
Awesome Miner should automatically list RVN as X16rv2 because this is how it's being reported from WhatToMine.com and CoinCalculators.io. Can you please check on the Coins tab in Awesome Miner?
It's also possible to override the algorithm via the Options dialog, Statistics Provider section, where you will find the 'Override coin algorithm' setting that can be used if needed.

CoinGecko provides some coin details like exchange rate but they lack coin properties like Difficulty and more that is required by Awesome Miner to fully calculate the profitability.

Patrik,

When I go to Options/Coins, RVN is listed twice.

Same on the Coins tab and one is showing Algo as X16r and the other instance is showing it as X16rv2.

I can hide the RVN entry associated with the X16r algo, but apparently the Exchange Balance feature is still pulling from the wrong entry despite being "hidden".

Under Statistics Providers I added an entry that maps RVN from X16r to X16rv2, but that still doesn't do the trick on the Exchange balance tab.

Is there a way to just permanently delete the outdated RVN coin entry?
Thanks for the details. Can you please try the following:
1) Go to the Options dialog, Statistics Provider section, where you can uncheck "Keep coins even when no longer listed by provider".
2) Save the changes and go to the Coins tab in the main window. Click the "Update now" button and wait a few seconds. Did this remove the older RVN entry?

Hi boss
can you improve benchmark functionality and add a view of actual middle value for actual tested algo.
this is very helpful if user benchmark random algos like x16rv2, x21s, etc
If i want benchmark those algos, i need to run benchmark for 24 hours if i want precise value, but if i see that the counter no more grow, i can stop benchmark and write value in profile.

Regards
Good point. Basically to show preliminary hashrate values during the benchmark, right?
Yes, good to know calculated hashrate middle value during the test phase. Good Benchmark is very important for mining. Maybe you can add possibility to change overclocking during test.
Even when the benchmarking dialog is open, you can still access the Awesome Miner window behind, where you can make overclocking changes during the benchmark. You can also use the Settings button in the benchmarking dialog to disable the pre-configured overclocking.

Hi boss
Accuracy of only two digits after comma is not enough. I speak about  mining Efficiency in Information tab.
If only two digits will be displayed, than impossible to use this information for adjustment algos like Cuckatoo31. Always Efficiency is 0.01 H/W
Add more accuracy pls.
Regards
Thanks for the feedback. I will make an adjustment to the power efficiency display in the next release.
1128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: October 28, 2019, 09:52:13 AM
Please change the Zclassic (ZCL) algorithm from Equihash to Equihash Zero 192.7. Awesome Miner does not run the miner in the auto switch mode, and I have to add the new ZCL coin manually in the options, which is complicated and not accurate.
For most coins, the algorithm is automatically detected from the coin statistics sources. This was however an exception where Awesome Miner did have an incorrect "Equihash" reference to this coin. I will correct this in the next release.

Patrike,

Wallet balance for BTC from the blockchain for Bech32 addresses does not work.

Works fine on Pool balance tab.
Awesome Miner uses blockchain.com for BTC wallet balance. It looks like it's not yet supporting this address type.

Please try the following Block Explorer API URL instead:
https://api.blockcypher.com/v1/btc/main/addrs/[address]/balance

Nice! looks like i must download manualy again because auto update on aweso had problem again... whats going on on auto update on awesome?
There are two common reasons why the automatic updates can fail:
1) If there are pending upgrades for Windows Update, Windows may prevent other installation software from running. The solution is to reboot the computer, where Windows Update will perform the required tasks.
2) Some anti-virus software may block the update. You can also verify if "IntelliBreeze Maintenance Service" is running correctly as a Windows Service (run "services.msc" via the Windows start menu to open the Windows Service dialog). If it isn't running correctly, it might have been blocked by anti-virus software.

Hi Patrik,

we have many z11 running - with the newest Firmware (from June 28th) the miner is reporting a 1000 times profit in AM - in the miner status display (WEB) everything seems right?!

BR Ralf
Hi Ralf,

It's true that the hashrate unit reported by Antminer Z11 has changed depending on firmware version. The Antminer reports a hashrate value without unit so Awesome Miner needs to look at the firmware date to understand if it's kH/s or something else. Right now Awesome Miner will look at if the firmware version is the latest, which is actually August 26th, and adjust the hashrate for this version.

It sounds like the slightly older firmware version from June 28th also would need the same adjustments.

Could you please send me the API report from one of these miners (via PM or mail)? With this information I can make the adjustments and verify the result. Thanks!
1136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: October 22, 2019, 09:31:37 AM
Hi Patrike,

Custom Access Toolbar:

Show miner online = green button
Show miner offline = the same green button

Can you change this? Or can i add my own icons?
The Quick Access Toolbar is not really an official feature in Awesome Miner as those buttons are not saved when you restart Awesome Miner. The green icon is actually a default icon when adding a toolbar button without any icon. This is the reason why it's always green. It's not possible to customize these icons as it only a feature provided by the UI framework but not in active use by Awesome Miner today.

i don't have this option in profit miner

Apologizes, I can see that Claymore miner has this option but Phoenix Miner does not.
Anyway, Phoenix Miner supports only "Blake2s" as dual mining.

You can untick Blake2s algorithm from Algorithms in options.
That should do the trick.
With the recent development release 7.0.7, the "Dual mode" setting should be visible in the Properties dialog for PhoenixMiner in the same way as it's available for Claymore Ethereum miner.

I have no option with profit miner, which allows me not to take into account the dual mining, via phoenix miner, even if I disable blake 2s, if I enter 0h / s and 0w dual on ethereum, I will necessarily work on the ethereum, I had no problem with the previous version, while it is not necessarily the ether the most profitable consumption power
Previously Awesome Miner never used dual mining for Phoenix Miner. Now it will use it in the same way as for Claymore Miner.

If you don't want dual mining, isn't your Profit Profile change where you define 0 H/s for Ethereum Dual Mining Hashrate working fine? In previous versions this change was not required for Phoenix Miner as dual mining wasn't supported.

if I enter 0h / s in the dual mining, yes I will not use it, but despite the 0h / s and 0watt dual, is taken into account in the calculation of profitability, so my rig no work more on the most profitable currency.
The Profit Switching tab will list both Ethereum only and the dual mining alternatives like Ethereum + Blake2s and indicate the profitability for each of the alternatives. The alternatives that are not the most profitable will not be used. The list may also contain many other algorithms that are considered.

If you don't want the Ethereum + Blake2s option to be included in the list at all, please uncheck "Blake2s" from the algorithm list in the Profit Profile Properties.

It's already done, that's what I say for several post, although blake2s is unchecked, the dual is still taken into account attached a screenshot

and in this case, even if another currency becomes more interesting, I remain stuck on the ethereum
Thanks for the screenshot. What I noticed is that when no dual algorithm/pool is enabled, Awesome Miner will consider both the main hashrate/power and dual hashrate/power for Ethereum and this can become a problem if the profitability is negative.

As the main hashrate/power is resulting in a negative profit in your case, the dual hashrate/power of 0H/s and 0W is considered more profitable as this profitability is 0. As a workaround you could enter the same dual hashrate/power as you have for the main hashrate/power.

I will also change this in the next release and simply ignore the dual hashrate/power if no dual mining algorithms are selected. This will correct the scenario you reported. Thanks for finding this one.

Suggestions:
1) please add a functionality to export/import profit profile data as .csv or exel data sheet.
2) many pools allow setting up a worker name only in password field, please add possibility to add worker name in password field.

Regards
Thanks for the suggestions.

For the password field, please note that you can use the variable [MinerWorker].
hmm, not really understand what your mean with [MinerWorker] variable. Where i can set this variable, in which dialog? Is this some code expression?

thx
If your miner worker name is "rig1" and the pool require you to pass the worker name as part of the password like "ID=rig1", you can use the [MinerWorker] variable for this. In the 'Worker Password' field in the Pool Properties, type the following:
ID=[MinerWorker]
Awesome Miner will automatically replace this with "ID=rig1" when launching the mining software.

If you only want to use "rig1" as the pool password, simply type the following in the 'Worker Password' field:
[MinerWorker]

Please let me know if this was the concept you were looking for.
