Off the top of my head just a few: Ray Kroc, Warren Buffet, Michael Bloomberg (His business not politics), and Steven Cohen of (the former?) SAC Capital.

Hey guys, I've been fooling around with writing HTML and such and creating websites. After creating a page, what is my next step as far as web hosting, security, getting my page online? What are some good beginning rates for say having your page up for a month? Can you choose to fund through ads or self fund? Any and all relevant responses are appreciated.
1143  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTS >>> 0.40353467 BTC through WESTERN UNION on: May 01, 2014, 04:14:14 AM
Finally got back to my laptop and I just wanted to update this to let everyone know I did end up selling my 0.23 BTC to user DebitMe above^. I sent first, and he followed through on his part of the deal. Everything went as smooth as possible, and he stuck to his word the whole way. I would deal with him again anytime. The transaction reminded me of why I love being a part of the Bitcoin community.
1144  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Need cash today for my BTC on: May 01, 2014, 04:04:02 AM
Got it taken care of earlier, thanks to everyone for offering to help. Something happened and was unable to return to my computer until just now.

I dealt with user DebitMe though, and everyone went as smooth as possible. I went out on a limb and sent first, and he stuck to his word along the whole way and did exactly what he said he would. I recommend contacting him if anyone is interested in selling BTC for Western Union. He was very professional, and I was even able to talk on the phone with him to help clear the terms of the deal up.

Thanks again to everyone for the advice and offers to help.

HAHA awesome thread jacked!  But seriously I will buy bitcoin at (bitstamp rate *.98) through western union.  You must send btc first (I have tons of rep so not interested in paying escrow fees) and you pay all western union fees. PM if interested

Current Bitstamp price according to my blockchain.info tab = $448.97 * 0.98 = $439.99 * my .20 BTC = $87.99.
How much would Western Union fees be for this amount received today?

https://www.westernunion.com/price-estimator/continue?REF_ID=1D4B-9FCF-C87Y-H12G-1D16-PK3U-1GI9-UXG8&2

According to that 8 to 10 bucks, probably not worth it but let me know

Alright man, I will let you know Soon. I will probably have to do it unfortunately... I hate to sell Any of my BTC but I just need the money. So I would be able to have it today if I go to a western union location? I am in the U.S. and I could send first, though it is against my better judgment. You have good trust ratings though.

I'm looking to sell approx. .20 BTC through Western Union or Moneygram depending on their fees. Need the money today though to pay bills, see my thread. Will do market prices or even slightly cheaper.
1149  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Need cash today for my BTC on: April 30, 2014, 08:38:51 PM
Would anybody be willing to do Western Union or Moneygram today? I would most likely be selling .20 BTC. I would do slightly lower than current market price to give the buyer some sort of advantage/incentive. I just need the money today to pay my insurance bill. We could do escrow with a trusted member, but let me know soon if interested.
1150  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Need cash today for my BTC on: April 30, 2014, 05:33:40 PM
In the U.S. Midwest, I'd love to do that but don't think it's going to happen.
1151  Economy / Currency exchange / Need cash today for my BTC on: April 30, 2014, 05:25:40 PM
Is there anyway I could sell some Bitcoin for cash in my bank account today? I have a bill due that I need to pay Today. I'm a registered user of both Coinbase and another exchange, Coinbase says 2-4 days until sold BTC hits your bank account, other exchange says up to a week...

Are there any options that get processed same day? I would even be willing to sell some on here to a trusted user and/or using escrow. Let me know guys, thanks.

P.S. In class right now I will check this as often as possible then be done here in a couple hours.

Medical Cocaine is right around the corner I hope Wink Cheesy!

They have that...  Have for hundreds of years in the U.S. at least. Kept in very small amounts pretty much under lock and key in hospitals today from what I've heard.

And Dank, it's too bad you've scammed that guy such a large amount of BTC and still fail to pay him back...
Otherwise I feel like you might be an alright guy who I could get along with IRL.
And for anybody bashing L or psychedelics who have never done (experienced) them... Slow your roll there. They are Definitely life-changing and they really put your life in perspective- in the right hands. Sure it's probably not for Everybody... what product/supplement/food whatever is? Mushrooms are supposed to "dissolve the ego." That is true for most psychs. What does that mean to you? If you can understand that you Might be able to mentally grasp 1% of psychs. Whereas cocaine basically IS ego, or inflation thereof. Any doubters or people who judge yet have never experienced LSD, Psilocybin, DMT, etc., then I highly suggest reading/researching the writings of Terrence McKenna, or Jeremy Narby. Suggestions for each- 'Food of the Gods: The Search for the Original Tree of Knowledge- Plants, Drugs, and Human Evolution' by the former and 'The Cosmic Serpent: DNA and the Origins of Knowledge' by the latter. Both amazing books by esteemed scholars, researchers, and writers.

But I myself am not a religious person (yet I do not knock it at all, or preach pro or anti-(X)), but that's cool that you are. But if you claim to follow Christ or another similar figure, I don't think they would want you to short your fellow man on a financial deal. If I messed up and owed someone that much (would never happen with me, worst case scenario), I would sell my guitars, amps, anything like that to at least make Some payments and take a step towards making it right so you can move on.

I follow no organized religion but try to live by Karma and the Golden Rule- treat others as you would want to be treated. I suggest you and anyone else reading try to live by this too. You will find it brings great joy and inner peace to your life, as well as being open-minded.
1153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 10 reason why BTC is better than the Fed Reserve on: April 28, 2014, 05:53:24 PM
Entire wars are fought and millions of lives ended all to prop up our current federal reserve banking system.

The bankers own the world.

Remember Libya? They were one of the few countries in the world that did not submit to the Bankers. Infact they were trying to go back to the gold standard and prop up the Libyan Dinar, which could have freed all of Africa from the control of the top Banking Elite.

Guess what happens?

All of a sudden Libya has a "revolution"...

Exactly. There were only a handful of countries that didn't have an IMF controlled central bank in like 2000. Libya, Afghanistan, Iraq, North Korea, Iran, Syria.. And maybe 1 or 2 more. But does anybody see a pattern here? Hmm... Idk. That's just what I've heard. I won't say anymore though.

Thanks

I know there are natural remedies for cavities, instead of using strong chemicals in your fillings.

That's awesome, I read it in the accent too. And very true from what I've been seeing over the past few weeks.
1158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Oh WoW! Why didn't anyone else think of this..... ::) on: April 28, 2014, 05:39:01 AM
Wow, I'm not feeling that at all. Bitcoin is Not that hard to use anyways. Not everybody can just jump into it and go, but it is not a big deal to do 5 minutes of research on something. I hope that dude and his 100% pre-mined coin fail. Has he gotten Anybody on board to accept the coin as payment, or done Anything like that?

Everyday. A perfect companion to cryptos and trading in my opinion. A wake and bake with a nice cup of coffee and a cigarette, then checking out my BTC and altcoin holdings on Cryptsy, that's a good way to start the day my friends.
