You can visit Games and Rounds to see what other casinos have to offer when they need a review from the rest of us. And the casinos are giving BTC rewards to attract more people to reviews. Nothing beats BTC in terms of rewards and we know it will be a challenge for participants. But you can also reward in USDT or award Free Spins to the winner with no wagering requirements.
If you want that people will become more interested in it, stick to bitcoin. I think that’s the best bonus that majority of the people are waiting of. And a lot of review campaigns have been using bitcoin already and most of them have been successful so far. So never doubt the potentials of bitcoin as it could attract thousands of participants like it always did to previous review campaigns.

I agree. There is no better incentive to attract quality forum members to review your casino than the promise of bitcoin. You can't expect everyone to be excited about free spins or free bets but offering them the opportunity to earn BTC is something that many people will jump at the chance for. I mean, all these people are already hardcore gamblers and they already have a lot of experience in this industry. So if you want to attract them to your casino, just stick to bitcoin!

Although this is a Bitcoin forum, I do not think that there will be a difference of attraction between the reward of Bitcoin and USDT, or any stable coins.  Since the amount will be the same I do not think those who wanted to participate will find it less interesting if the reward given is in terms of stablecoins.  Honestly, I find it more interesting if the reward is a high liquidity altcoins like TRX, LTC, or Dogecoinm that has low fee transactions.  This way I can save more on transaction fees.

Indeed, it's true that some members may prefer altcoins with lower transaction fees, particularly given the current state of the Bitcoin network. However, in this particular case, as we are on the bitcointalk.org forum, I believe that Bitcoin holds an advantage. Campaigns that offer Bitcoin as payment can be promoted in the Services section, which typically sees higher attendance and greater interest, as opposed to being relegated to the Altcoin bounty section.
1142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: low-cost hardware wallet for less than 10 dollars on: May 26, 2023, 08:32:53 PM
This is really interesting to make your own hardware wallet using an $8 device which is extremely cheap. However, I think it also makes it a bit scary because I think it's fragile and could break at any time since it's cheap. When it may have good security features, the device itself is debatable due to its low cost and the potential for breakage. In general, people store almost all their bitcoin in hardware wallets because they're considered pretty safe so they prefer to invest in something more durable that can last for years without the risk of being broken.

I believe it would be better to store the majority of your bitcoin in a more reliable device, one that allows you to sleep at night without worrying about the safety of your bitcoin.

i believe the software on that hardware is already reliable enough because it's using Blockstream Jade wallet which is an open-source hardware wallet.
if you want to buy it from the official website https://store.blockstream.com/product/jade-hardware-wallet/ and it cost around 65$ which is almost 8x the price if you create one by yourself.

It's definitely an interesting concept to create your own hardware wallet using such a cheap device. Another thing to consider is the level of technical expertise required to create your own hardware wallet. While it may be a cost-effective option, it may not be feasible for those who are not comfortable with programming or electronics.

This is why I will stick with a hardware wallet manufactured by a reputable company.  Wink
1143  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How i can manage my job and my Bitcoin Trading at the same time? on: May 26, 2023, 08:11:31 PM
<...>

Hey there! It's great to hear that you're exploring new avenues to supplement your income. Teaching IT and diving into the world of Bitcoin, that's quite the dynamic duo!

But now I wonder, if you are really a teacher teaching students about IT, how come you haven't heard of Bitcoin before? I mean, it's not like Bitcoin is a secret or anything. It's been around since 2009 and has had quite the impact on the world we live in today. So how come you've never heard of it before?

Regarding your question about how to manage your time and earn money from trading, there are no simple answers. Everyone's situation is different, which means that there really isn't a one-size-fits-all solution to this problem. I can tell you, however, that if you're serious about trading and want to make money doing it, then you need to be willing to put in the work. There's no such thing as getting rich quick with cryptocurrency, even if some people may try to convince you otherwise!
1144  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why is Bitcoin always in a state of BULL RUN on: May 26, 2023, 07:48:10 PM
Which drive me back to this question that "WHY IS BITCOIN ALWAYS IN A STATE OF BULL RUN"BTC

Can you elaborate on what makes you think that "bitcoin is always in a state of bull run"? Where did you find such a claim?

It is true that Bitcoin has been on the rise since it was created but there are times when it falls down as well. The other question that comes to mind is about what makes people invest in Bitcoin and why does it keep going up?

The answer is simple: Bitcoin has a lot of potential and it is not just a currency, but also a store of value. It has been around for more than 13 years now and there are many people who use it in their day-to-day lives. There are also many new investors who are taking advantage of its growing popularity and investing in it because they believe that this trend will continue.

1146  Economy / Gambling / Re: ❤️ BitcoinCasino.to - Guide & Reviews - 1400+ Crypto Casinos List on: May 26, 2023, 07:29:16 PM
Once we have properly tested and reviewed a casino we'll mark it as reviewed and, if the conclusion was positive, we'll add them to one or several lists with actual recommendations.

Can you explain the criteria you use to rank casinos on your website's front page and other lists? While I recognize some names, there are others that I am not familiar with and I'm not sure how popular they are.

On the other hand, there are casinos which are very popular but I don't understand why they are not on your lists. I guess what I am really asking is how you decide which casinos to include in the rankings?

I am advertising for bcgames for a while aswell. I collected over 5000 referrals, with more then 50k commission generated.
<...>

That's pretty impressive! Congrats on that! I'm curious, how did you manage to attract such a large number of referrals? Do you have any strategies or tips that have worked well for you?

I will let you know how it worked out.

Looking forward to hearing your insights!

It seems like this thread has gotten quite a bit of attention with everyone sharing their thoughts and addressing the OP's questions. But here's the thing: if you take a look at the OP's activity, it seems he started this topic a long time ago, like more than six months ago. And based on his latest activity, he hasn't been active since January. Looks like he's lost interest in the topic.

Now, the question is, should we keep replying here or ask the moderators to lock the topic? Well, locking a topic is usually done when it's no longer active or when it has deviated from its original purpose. In this case, considering the OP's lack of recent activity and the passage of time, it might be more fitting to ask the mods to lock it up.
1149  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: May 23, 2023, 06:44:17 PM

Some don't like to submit KYC since they want to protect their identity. They can't afford to expose their details because some maybe a well known guy or maybe they are also don't want to get any possible problem regarding on hacking or any related on financial issues which might happen to them if they don't became more careful to give their personal details to anyone. We can't force people to just accept this KYC thing since its still up for those people if they want to continue or just quit if KYC will be implemented to all casino exist in this forum.
This KYC topic has always been a debatable one as some are comfortable with it but others don't like to submit any documents to protect their privacy and remain anonymous which is why they have selected crypto casinos. But the thing is simple if you are not comfortable with it find other options as there are available otherwise you will have to comply with the regulations of casinos if you want to withdraw funds.

I agree, the topic of online identity has been extensively debated. Generally, people feel uneasy and reluctant to reveal their true identities on the internet. Many firmly believe that using their real identity online can be extremely risky. As a result, they resort to using various pseudonyms to safeguard their anonymity. Additionally, some individuals prefer to keep their gambling activities private, not wanting anyone to be aware of their involvement, including their spouses or partners. Consequently, a significant number of people opt for anonymous payment methods such as Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies when engaging in online gambling.

Personally, being someone who also values privacy, one of the main reasons I decided to play at crypto casinos was due to the anonymity they provide. I strongly dislike the idea of my personal information being accessible on every website I visit. All it takes is one unscrupulous employee to expose this information on the dark web, and we have witnessed cases like this in the past.

Fortunately, Roobet has implemented a multi-tiered KYC (Know Your Customer) system, and I have only completed Level 1, which involves providing basic personal information (although it still makes me uneasy to provide my full name and address, but I suppose we have to come to terms with it).
1150  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: May 23, 2023, 05:22:40 PM

Throughout all the scam accusations and all the problems that have been created by the 1xbit/1xbit1 team, they have managed to retain the services of some loyal campaign participants (which unknown to them some are operated by a puppeteer pocketing fees from multiple accounts)

Thank you @1xbit_official for update of signature campaign spreadsheet and payments! 👍

Well, Jollygood.
Considering how infamous they are around here in the forum and probably on other places on internet dedicated to gambling, it would make sense they could be running low in Hero and Legendary participants. Luckily not many people around here would ruin their personal reputation to join this nefarious campaign, so in the context of lack of "quality" participants, the manager would be willing to turn a bling eye to some using alt accounts to spam and shill this casino to the infinity and beyond.  Roll Eyes

Least surprising thing about a scam casino. Imo

You make a solid point there! But let me tell you another reason why I don't think they'll put an end to the campaign anytime soon. The thing is, the 1xBit signature campaign isn't really legit. They aren't paying members who participate because they're using their own accounts, or at least that's what it seems like. I mean, not a single genuine member has ever taken part in their campaigns. It's more likely that they've acquired a load of phony accounts or even hired someone to post on a forum with a bunch of alt accounts. This has actually been proven in the past, if memory serves me right.

@decodx, what about you, an another idiot or something else.
Are you starting a dog fight for no reason?
We are trying to discuss in here, and u are trying to ruined the discussion. And I don't know for what?
I was not here to hear this shit.

You know what? It's probably not the smartest move on my part to label you as an idiot, no matter how much nonsense you spout. Sometimes my emotions get the better of me, especially when I'm stuck hearing the same mind-numbing garbage on repeat. Guess we all have our moments, right?

That's why I feel useless to discuss in here.

Hey, how about we hit the reset button? It's totally possible that I misunderstood you the first time around.

But, this time, let's take it slow.  If there's anything that's not quite clear or if you have any questions that need clarification, go ahead and ask them one by one. That way, we can give each little thing the attention it deserves and address everything properly. Sound good?
1152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Question on Ethereum address. on: May 22, 2023, 07:11:33 PM
2) Bitcoin:

Bitcoin wallet addresses are typically represented using the Base16 encoding, also known as hexadecimal (hex) encoding. Hexadecimal is a numbering system that uses 16 symbols: 0-9 and A-F.
A Bitcoin wallet address is a string of alphanumeric characters, consisting of letters A-F and numbers 0-9.

You are wrong. Check your sources.

Bitcoin addresses are commonly presented in a Base58Check encoding format. This specific encoding scheme relies on a Base58 number system comprising 58 characters. To prevent confusion, certain characters such as 0, O, I, and l are excluded from the set of characters used.

Above explanations at 1 & 2, says that both Bitcoin & Ethereum wallet address consist of alphanumeric characters, consisting of letters A-F and numbers 0-9.

Wrong again. Bitcoin addresses are commonly displayed using Base58Check encoding, while Ethereum addresses are typically represented in a hexadecimal format with the "0x" prefix.

So, as per the above explanations at 1 & 2, Bitcoin & even Ethereum wallet address having only numerical characters  must not exist at blockchain.

You are an idiot.

1154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Question on Ethereum address. on: May 21, 2023, 11:58:16 PM
"On Ethereum and other networks compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), public addresses all share the same format: they begin with 0x, and are followed by 40 alphanumeric characters (numerals and letters), adding up to 42 characters in total".

It says that the Eth wallet address must consist of alphanumeric characters.

No, it doesn't say that. Read the rest of the text.

"This address is a number, even though it also includes alphabetical characters. This is because the hexadecimal (base 16) system used to generate the address doesn't just use numerals, like our ten-digit decimal system. Instead, the hexadecimal system uses the numerals 0-9 and the letters A-F." (source: metamask.io)

Now check this link https://etherscan.io/address/0x1234567891011121354156117981940232723242

Or go to https://etherscan.io/
And explore the below wallet address made of prefix 0x and only 40 numbers.

So what? The address is still a valid hexadecimal format. You don’t think every address must include all digits, do you?

This proves Ethereum wallet address at blockchain has something wrong in it.

No, this proves that you don't understand fundamental mathematical concepts, including the differentiation between number systems like base-16 or base-64. Did you skip a math class or two at school?

Besides, you have not yet provided any evidence of the mentioned address on blockchain.com explorer.

Guys look at the email I got the other day from Freebitco.in

<...>
Years of playing, never getting this prize let alone the number 10000 with a grand prize of $200, but you are lucky to get $20, thank you @betwrong for sharing your winnings here, it means we all know that any win on freebitcoin including free spins we get notifications via email as well.

I know that it's nothing more than luck so not everyone is lucky to get the big prize also in the daily free spins or weekly ticket lottery, I hope to have the same luck as you. btw the price of FUN is increasing hopefully it will enter the bull market soon

Man, I've been playing for years, and I can't even recall the last time I scored a measly 20 cents on a free bet game, let alone a whopping $20! Heck, even getting a paltry 2 cents as a reward feels like spotting a unicorn these days. I guess luck just ain't my strong suit compared to those fortunate folks out there.

Congrats Betwrong!
1156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think Casinos Should Do Survey From Time To Time To Assess You. on: May 21, 2023, 11:14:16 AM
When it comes to players trying to find loopholes to recover their gambling losses, I believe there will always be some individuals attempting to exploit the system for personal gain. It's an unfortunate reality that exists in any gambling environment, no matter the surveys, questionnaires, or other assessments in place.

To tackle this persistent challenge, casinos should prioritize the implementation of comprehensive and transparent policies that explicitly outline the rules and regulations of their gambling platforms. These policies should cover responsible gambling practices, ensuring fair play, and specifying the consequences for any attempts to exploit the system. By establishing clear guidelines, casinos can set clear expectations for players and discourage them from actively seeking loopholes.

As I said those who is serious on finding the bug or any technical issue about this matter and need to know the wallet address then, contact me personally.

I have no desire to contact you personally. If you wish to present any evidence to support your point here, it is entirely up to you to provide it. I don't trust you anymore and I'm curious to know what your true intention is behind this topic.

Or ask Ethereum community to contact me.
Also one can forward this issue to Ethereum community, so that they can at least know what's going on with Ethereum.

Forward it yourself.

Address starts with number 1... but its an Ethereum wallet address with zero balance.

We already told you that all Ethereum addresses start with "0x." If a wallet decides not to show the prefix, that's their choice. But honestly, Blockchain.com isn't a good or safe wallet to use anyway. I recommend you find another option that's more reliable.

I have cropped the screenshot and hide the full wallet address. I will reveal the whole address only if Ethereum community and its users see this post and

The screenshot is quite difficult to make out. It would be better if you could provide the complete screenshot while blacking out any private information. That way, we'll have a clearer view of the content.

But I found ethereum wallet address that starts with 1
and this wallet address is on the blockchain.
How it is possible?

Why don't you show us?

You already got the answer that all Ethereum addresses begin with the prefix "0x." If you came across something on a blockchain explorer that you're unsure about, feel free to share the link with us so that we can take a look and provide further assistance.
1160  Other / Meta / Re: @theymos - Time to update the current Ledger situaion @ Important Announcements? on: May 20, 2023, 12:47:02 PM
I found a great post on Reddit that effectively summarizes the current state of affairs regarding the Ledger devices. All the points mentioned in the post appear to be factually correct, as far as I can tell:

Q: Am I dumb to stay with ledger?

A: YES.

This isn't just about typical pros and cons of this wallet or that wallet.

Ledger told us our keys never leave the secure element of our hardware wallets. They assured us no firmware update would enable our keys to be extracted from our hardware wallets.

Here's the promise they made, again and again, for years.

Quote
Hi - your private keys never leave the Secure Element chip, which has never been hacked. The Secure Element is 3rd party certified, and is the same technology as used in passports and credit cards. A firmware update cannot extract the private keys from the Secure Element.
   SOURCE: @Ledger 8:12 AM · Nov 15, 2022

Now, they admit that was a lie:

Quote
yes a firmware update can extract the seed
SOURCE: u/murzika, Ledger Co-Founder, Former CEO, and Former Chairman

And because their firmware isn't fully open, we have no way of knowing if there's a backdoor to enable key extraction even if we don't opt in to their new key extraction service:

Quote
There's no backdoor and I obviously can't prove it
   SOURCE: u/btchip, Ledger owner & co-founder

And it's not like we can trust their security.

Ledger wallet users face mounting home invasion and other scareware threats as hacker dumps private customer information online.

What's the worst that could happen, aside from a hacker getting access to your keys due to another Ledger security breach?

If you are a Recover user and have your shard into safeguarded by third parties, then yes, a government could subpoeana them and get access to your funds. Using Recover gives you an easy recovery option and mitigates backup loss, but your assets could get frozen by the government

Your assets could get frozen by the government. He said it.

Quote
As I said above, if you are referring to Ledger Recover, I said government could get access to the backups of a user, as it's only a matter of law and is about one user
SOURCE: u/murzika, Ledger Co-Founder, Former CEO, and Former Chairman

The government could get access to the backups of a user. He said it.

Quote
If you are referring to Ledger Recover, a joint government task force could access a user's recovery backup. I mean it's just a question of law, two shards could be subpoaned even if they are each in a different jurisdiction.
SOURCE: u/murzika, Ledger Co-Founder, Former CEO, and Former Chairman

So, to answer your question: Are you dumb to just stick with ledger through this whole mess?

YES.
