121  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: October 18, 2021, 04:14:48 PM

There's still risk but it did turn out to be good which it was actually an easy money or profits for those who had able to buy.Its just a waste that i had missed this one too.

If you say there is still a risk, can you explain what kind of risk?  because I read their offer is very attractive and guaranteed post 30 days, they can resell to Rollbit.com at the original purchase price.  I think this is very fair to NFT buyers because as bad as they can get, it's just 30 days waiting for them to resell and receive the money they previously spent.  And nowadays, Rollbit is one step ahead of other gambling sites.
Well, I believe he's talking to investment risk because we all know that any investment involves some level of risk, whether small or large. Rollbit is a renowned gaming site that has lately implemented something about NFTs; it is trusted, but there is a danger that it will not do much and your money will not grow; this is one of the risks. Technically, we can't argue that any investment is without danger, so I believe that's what he's referring to when he says he's buying NFTs, even if the platform is trustworthy and has a lot of positive feedback from its customers.
122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL- Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: October 18, 2021, 03:31:16 PM
I know Valorant isn't included in this thread but I know some of you really like FPS games and It's also included on the Sportsbet.io eSports betting so I'll drop it here.

Is anyone watching the Last Chance Qualifier for various regions?

We're just waiting for the NA LCQ, then the list of VCT Champions competitors will be full.

This is one of the international competitions I'm looking forward to after the TI because one of the teams playing is Team Secret, which has all of the players from my country. I'm also rooting for Full Sense, a team from SEA, and, of course, Sentinels!

Tournament start date: December 01, 2021

123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Issue of fixed Matches on: October 18, 2021, 03:09:39 PM
I was with a friend today who was in a hurry to place his bet on some numbers that were sent to him for some football matches that he believes are fixed. I'm a bit confused how fixed matches work.

Are fixed matches real? Do the coach and players of teams were matches have been fixed, do they consent to it? If you were in a team were your next fixture has been fixed, what will be your reaction?

Yes, fixed matches do exist, especially when large corporations are involved. They do exist in sporting events, which is why some people are already benefiting from them because they know who will win the game. At the end of the day, sports are also becoming a business for certain large people, thus we don't wager on sports that have a history of manipulated matches.

So if ever you got info about it, don't trust it unless there's a history about it.  Roll Eyes
124  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you had 4,000.00 USD, what would you invest in? on: October 18, 2021, 02:31:02 PM
4,000 USD is a lot of money.

So, supposing I have a lot of money (4,000 USD is a lot of money), it means I also have a budget for my personal requirements. I'm absolutely going to go for long-term currencies like ADA or BNB; these two altcoins will definitely dominate, especially now that BNB is recovering, and ADA is basically a steady currency; if it's uptrending, it'll keep uptrending.
125  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Taking loan to trade is a risky task on: October 18, 2021, 01:58:44 PM
I'm telling you, taking a loan and then investing with it is a HUGE MISTAKE!

I don't like how it works, and it's evident that the danger is really high, because what if the coin in which you invested goes downhill and it takes a long time to recover? How will you pay them? As a result, we do not recommend taking out a loan merely to invest in a risky coin.
126  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to Setup Telegram Bitcointalk SuperNotifier V2(TryNinja's Bot) on Telegram! on: October 18, 2021, 01:19:23 PM
I just saw this, and it's incredible that there's a bot like this that exists so that we can track who ever replies to our posts, especially if there's a specific thread where we expect to have a good discussion. I already have one, the Btctalk_meritbot, which I started using last year, and your bot does the same, but Btctalk_meritbot doesn't alert me if someone has merited me, so I'll absolutely use your bot.

Also, if there is an existing discord bot that does the same thing, I'd be happy to utilize it because I'm pretty active in discord and it'll always keep me up to date on my forum activity.
127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Metaverse x Gambling on: October 18, 2021, 01:08:31 PM
As I said, I highly doubt that people will accept Metaverses at this stage.

It's way too early. The infrastructure around a lot of these metaverses are incomplete and game mechanics are too complex to understand properly.

Will you bother to learn so much about a metaverse just to bet $5? Or would you just put $5 on roulette on Roobet...

The same thing was once said about computers, the Internet, and e-commerce. But today these technologies are no surprise, because we use them every day. Metaverse will not be limited to one thing as for example gambling but will give users a wide range of entertainment and leisure. Take a look at how many users congregate in The Sandbox every day and you'll see the future. Rumor has it that Mark Zuckerberg is developing his own metaverse. I don't think he's going to invest his money in unpromising projects.
As long as the idea would benefit others, it is OK. The issue here is that some individuals have a difficult time accepting new technologies since they prefer the traditional way. They are not open to new ideas and continue to undervalue such fresh meta in this industry. If these people are not interested in these new innovations, then claiming that they are worthless is nonsensical because you are only presenting your own personal opinion while overlooking other people's positive interest in this innovation.
128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: October 18, 2021, 11:54:10 AM
I am thinking it was more a case of PSG believing they have the game when Tiny-Lycan combo passed trough. Colapse is player of the tournament for me with his performances on Mars and Magnus.

Did not think Team Spirit will win this one after LDG destroyed them on map 4. Big congrats to young Russian team.
LGD kept being confident that they could handle TS Magnus, look what happened. Granted it was also a bait by TS with them leaving Tiny open from what I can see though. I honestly thought LGD was doing a huge comeback they performed astoundingly well in games 3 and 4, and even in Game 5 they got the Tiny-Lycan combo BUT again, they left out Magnus without any hard counter. Game 3 had Rubick to counter him, and we all saw how Collapse's entry was always denied.

I think LGD thought they broke TS's magnus after winning game 3 and 4 but in game 5、 a different story was unveiled and their lack of respect to these young team paid them the prize. Team Spirit is a dark horse in TI10 indeed.
Yes, they believed they'd shatter the TS Magnus, but collapse is completely different, so they're still picking it, and the team trusted him with that hero. That's one of LGD's mistakes; they should've respect ban on Magnus, and I think it's a bad decision to display their awesome draft (lycan tiny) in the battle between team secret; perhaps team spirit already knows about this draft and is preparing for it. I checked Team Spirit's recent matches, notably in the Easter qualifiers, and they've managed to stay in the upper bracket, indicating that they're more than just a normal dota2 team.
129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Tips- what kind of strategies do you use when playing? on: October 18, 2021, 11:45:45 AM
One of my friend has tried to introduce me to poker as that is one of his best games and he has made some money from playing poker severally and I refuse because I am not familiar with the strategy they use to make me a successful poker player. Am very good in playing Dice on Stake.com and I have made some money not only that, I have grown my account tia high level which enable me to earn high bonus on monthly basis.
you must Play Poker in Real one and not in Online so you can evaluate your opponent face to face and not on Online in which we have no actual experience like what we had when playing personally.
In Online Poker it is harder to win because the House will never let us take their profit away lol.
but if you can be Good in Dice in terms that it is pure luck base game then why not try poker instead?
Other gamblers, on the other hand, often prefer to play online in order to reduce the expressions as one of the elements in winning the game. Also, there is a pandemic, and we can't play poker in some casinos right now because it demands you to be fully vaccinated, but if you like online poker, you don't need to encounter the actual thing because you won't use it in online. If you can read probability, you can win a lot of money by simply playing and counting percentages, it's enough already to enjoy and win the game.
130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Poker Rooms on: October 18, 2021, 11:15:24 AM
I'm planning to play some time, hopefully I get to win some although I haven't played poker in a while so it's really a challenge to play when there's stakes in line.
You might want to try downloading a poker app so you can get back in shape, poker rooms are an unforgivable place, you don't want to get caught off-guard in those games especially if it involves real money.

Agree there are ton of apps now a days that you can play it for free so that you can feel it and also be comfortable of after a few years of quitting. Thats the best thing to do first before jumping or involved with money. Also there are website that will give you credits upon creating account or a signing up bonus which you can take it as an advantage to make you feel comfortable with the website
Zynga Poker is, in my opinion, one of the best poker apps available today; I use it when I want to play poker before going to real-money poker rooms. Of course, we need to sharpen up on our poker skills and memorize all of the card combinations in order to win the game. I'm sure there are many pros in poker, especially those who know when to call or fold based on the percentages of the cards they hold. It's a great risk to play in a poker room with money involved if you don't know how the game works; it'll only lead to defeat.

Zynga is a good platform with all the features you need, it can be a good way to warm up before a real money session but the dynamics are always going to be very different with a virtual chip game. People will play a completely different game if they are not losing any real money and you'll find a lot of people who simply play bad poker - going all in repeatedly and really breaking the game play. People play much tighter and consistently when trying to boost a real bank roll. Either way, you get a feel for the cards and odds, you'll occasionally find players who play a similar game, good for refreshing your memory as you say and it is some basic level practice.
Yes, it is preferable to play on sites that do not utilize real money and to acquaint oneself with the gameplay and mechanics of poker before participating. It's the ideal way to prepare for reality; in fact, games like this are an escape from reality; you can play better or worse without worrying about anything. It's unwise to risk anything without knowing what's going on, so use an app like this to re-acquaint yourself with everything, including bluffing to win the game.
131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS - predictions and tips (Dota 2, CS:GO, LoL) on: October 18, 2021, 09:07:31 AM
The boys, who are on average a little over 20 years old and for whom this was the first big Dota 2 tournament, beat all the favorites in a row, and finally the main candidates for the title, which brought them a historic title and a grand prize of an incredible 18 million dollars - the absolute record of all time in esports.

🚨 READ MORE: Dota 2 The International - Review

That's a pure hard work and a good luck, its their time to shine so there's no surprise they beat all the top teams.
This is their first ever international tournament if I'm not mistaken and this is really good for a first timer. Nothing to be ashamed of for other teams, they all did a great job its just that, its not their time this year. Looking forward for the next tournament, this become more exciting.
Yeah, I didn't expect them to win the TI because I didn't know them and because I only support top and popular teams like OG, T1, and Secret, but those teams were defeated by the TI10 champion. I remember OG being on their team, just fighting till the finale, and look what happened to Team Spirit: they gained $18 million dollars and are now a part of Dota2 history. Tbh, I want them to lose when the disrespect occurs (well, for me, I consider it a disrespect because it's not a chat wheel even Ceb has already emphasized that it's just nothing), but then I remember that they're truly trying their hardest to win the TI! Congratulations to the bettors and supporters of TI participants!!
132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fake bets on: October 18, 2021, 08:48:24 AM
The most interesting thing is that many streamers advertise not only little-known gambling platforms but also known to many gamblers platforms with a huge number of negative reviews with evidence of fraud against them. I can understand a streamer who advertises little-known gaming platform for lack of information about it, but I will never understand a streamer who advertises scam!

When the intention is to earn money unfairly, anything is possible, don't doubt the ability of an influential person to do something to achieve their own benefits.
In a single video I've seen streamers posting speech bets on fraudulent sites, advertising links with referral code, earning from video platform advertising and in the end even selling some courses that "teach" their followers to make more profits with exclusive tips.
That is, they "shoot" to all sides, in order to get in one of these "shots" hit the target and get as much money as possible.
That's why we must spread the words mate , there are still some gamblers or those who are just starting in this gambling world in which becoming the target of all these misleading businesses .
they will do everything for the sake of Money because gamblers is the best way or tools to profit from their End .
The more people they fooled is the more money will enter the casino and higher percentage for His referral links .
I don't believe that generating great commercials or promotions aren't misleading businesses; do you believe that your winnings will be decided by the platform? Of course, whether or not you win will still be determined by your luck. As long as the platform is profitable and fair to all of its users, I believe it is a prudent decision. In my opinion, fake bets from streams are simply adverts or promotions, and I'll still do my own research if the platform is truly good and not just based on an obvious promotion. I hope we can take something away from this; we should always learn to do research on whatever we come across.  Roll Eyes
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba is worth the risk on: October 17, 2021, 08:27:03 PM
I'm not going to fall for it; I want to be cautious right now because some of the cryptocurrencies available are quite dangerous. We all know that the pump was only brought about because of the hype made by Elon Musk, thus I don't think it will continue to pump until they keep hyping. Everyone should learn from Doge, and we all know what occurred recently, so be cautious; it all started with Doge, and he targeted BTC and fud appeared; now Shiba is being hyped, and everyone is taking profit or trying to break even and get out of the misery they've been in. Those new investors of SHIBA will definitely the new generation of investors that will stay for a long time without gaining something, I mean it reaches the current value due to hype so what if the hype is gone, downfall might occur, we are very unsure of what will happen so be careful.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt Coins to buy with 200$ on: October 17, 2021, 07:52:16 PM
Still can’t understand why these guys shill all sorts of badcoins related to the dogs/frogs/kwoks, but at the same time they ignore the current problems and how other projects solve them? I think YouClout is very underestimated in this regard. Check it out.
You don't need to think about that because everyone has their own perspective and way of evaluating a project, even though the end goal is to make short-term profits, so if you think the YouClout project is better than the others, then you should explore it yourself without having to think about anyone else who ignores it.
However, it is extremely perilous to promote some initiatives that have recently been launched or are still in the works because they are risky and may turn out to be a failure in the end. As a result, if a beginner is present, it is preferable to propose altcoins that are at the top or leaderboards of altcoins. I mean, it's already assured that your money will eventually grow if those projects continue to flourish. Shitcoins and other newly created initiatives should conduct more investigation before putting money in them. He/She only have $200 and asking where to put his money, obviously better to recommend him/her to a wonderful project that is already proven so he won't do such panic selling when it's dropping and He/She will calmly watch the
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The rise of Axie Infinity on: October 17, 2021, 07:24:48 PM
What do you believe to be the key factors that could have made this price movement possible?
AXS's price pump is due to staking, everyone's holding, and of course the others are using it for breeding axie, therefore there's a good chance AXS will pump even higher. It has a wide spectrum of uses, and I expect that SLP will add more in the future. I can't wait for Battle 2.0 and Axie Land; perhaps they'll add more SLP usecases and a potential of SLP pumping if that time comes.

Axie is popular, which is one of the reasons it pumped so hard, and I believe it will pump even harder in the future.
136  Economy / Economics / Re: Reality Check on Crypto on: October 17, 2021, 07:11:11 PM
Sometimes, this forum thinks that the rest of the world will flock to Bitcoin in droves because of its qualities.

Some people think that every potential user/investor will care about its decentralized features or its high value.
If anyone thinks that every investor in the cryptocurrency market really care about the technical aspect of a project, then it is a wrong concept as majority are here to make a quick profit and they will move on to other ones once they book their profit.

Since you added a poster of Vitalik Buterin, he was always boosting his invention of ETH and he always claimed that it will solve the problems BTCitcoin will never solve from the start and always mocking and now what happens to their scaling project is a comical tragedy as users are spending huge amount in transaction fees because of their inability to scale and still look at their valuation as they are soaring despite their higher transaction valuation.
True, some ETH transactions, particularly NFTs, are already worth hundreds of dollars! Consider that money is already large for certain people, particularly those from third-world nations, therefore it's not a beginner-friendly network, which is why BSC is utilized more than other platforms when it comes to NFTs and other pump and dump schemes. Even though they have already announced the ETH 2.0, it still takes a long time because there are so many cryptocurrency users right now; it should have been done in previous years as they experienced scaling issues in 2017-18; I know it's not easy, but look at TRON and BSC, which are more efficient to newcomers.
137  Economy / Economics / Re: When will the role of fiat currency disappear against crypto. on: October 17, 2021, 05:31:38 PM
Currently, there are many usd-based stablecoins such as, usdt, busd, usdc and maybe many others.  To be honest, I used to think that crypto would completely eliminate the usd's dominance of the world economy but I was wrong, it turns out that usd is now evolving to crypto (stablecoins).  What do you think, whether in the future bitcoin or other crypto can replace the role of currency in each country and leave fiat currencies such as usd, euro, yuan and others.
I'm not sure why there should be only one that accepts both fiat and cryptocurrencies. Many people continue to use the traditional method, which is fiat and, of course, far safer than crypto when dealing with large sums of money. There is no need for fiat currency to vanish in this society simply because cryptocurrency exists; they can both exist and be used by different people. Because your experiences and rewards from crypto aren't the same as those of others, it means that some people still prefer to use traditional methods over new.
138  Economy / Economics / Re: What are common arguments for Bitcoin? on: October 17, 2021, 01:16:49 PM
What should new investors know about Bitcoin?
All I have to say about bitcoin to a new investor or a friend who is interested in it is to always do your research before putting money in. Bitcoin is quite volatile, and the present market can be easily swayed by some fad manufactured by large corporations, so we need perform our own research so we don't make any mistakes. Bitcoin is currently on an uptrend, so anyone who has tried to enter it has already made a tremendous mistake because it is extremely close to the ATH and we don't know if it will breakout or bounceback, which is one of the instances I'll try to show them.
139  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon musk now the richest man in earth on: October 17, 2021, 12:22:37 PM
Quote
Elon Musk has entered rarified air in the world billionaire rankings. The Tesla and SpaceX CEO is not only currently the richest person in the world, but is now worth as much as fellow billionaires Bill Gates and Warren Buffett combined.

Can he sustain it for how long?

My question is can Elon musk sustain this new found financial spot for how long? We have seen bill gate coming back to this spot from time to time and occupying it for a longer time. Now that Elon musk is said being the richest in the world , is he going to keep to this status longer or we are yet going to hear another story of selling off assets because Elon musk is now known as a public stage man Grin Roll Eyes So what do you think?
Let's face it: Elon Musk is a clever individual who has even manipulated the market to his advantage. He's a businessman, and being a businessman necessitates a lot of sensible judgments, and I believe he's excellent at it and can continue to be the world's richest man. He's giving it his all and making a lot of money for it. I dislike how he acts at times, but I can't deny that he's one of the brightest minds in cryptocurrency history for what he have done recently.
140  Economy / Economics / Re: Steam bans blockchain games on: October 17, 2021, 11:51:52 AM
https://twitter.com/SpacePirate_io/status/1448713803680473089

Steam decided to kick all blockchain games because they tend to feature real money trading for in-game items.

IMO this is a good decision, at the current state blockchain games are just another vehicle for speculative investments and even scams, and unsuspecting people shouldn't be lured into them.

And I can't agree that blockchain is the future for gaming, I'm a gamer myself and I never thought "Oh how I fish this game was running on blockchain". I never had any problems with centralized game servers, so why fix what is not broken? Especially since it's the blockchain that has problem like high fees, bugs in smart contracts, confirmation times. Not to mention that introducing real money into games tends to leading into very poor ecosystem.
IMO, Blockchain games will be a significant problem for Steam if more blockchain games are adopted, because reviews for the game will be focused on how much they can earn on that p2e game rather than how wonderful it is. Steam is a respectable gaming platform, so if there are any more blockchain games that aren't truly designed for the sake of gaming, it's likely that they don't fit the quality of games on Steam. Some are now using steam to make it more intriguing and trustworthy because the word steam is included on their website, but there is still a potential that it may turn out to be a fraud, and steam will be held responsible for that scam.

So for me, it's really a good decision from steam.
