1201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paying bills with digital currency cards, gift cards on: April 01, 2023, 09:31:53 PM
The idea of everything being calculated automatically and the ability to pay with cryptocurrency without the need for a cashier is quite intriguing to me. I have not yet come across such a system and I am eager to learn more about it. It's remarkable that all transactions can be automated, but there must be measures in place to prevent double-spending.

Overall, I find this concept to be fascinating and I am looking forward to hearing more details from the OP. It's exciting to think about the potential implications this technology could have on the way we make purchases in the future.
1202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can't become world currency (at least now). on: April 01, 2023, 09:24:09 PM
It is premature to consider Bitcoin as a global currency, as it lacks a regulatory body to facilitate its adoption. Its success currently hinges on the support of the community and institutional investors, without the backing of a centralized government. Such entities are inclined to promote their own currency and are unlikely to endorse Bitcoin as a world currency. Nevertheless, it would be a significant development if governments worldwide were to recognize Bitcoin as a legal currency, enabling its use for global transactions, even if it does not become the dominant currency.
1203  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is buying BTC now, the best option ??? on: April 01, 2023, 09:14:23 PM
Investing in Bitcoin can be worthwhile if you're willing to be patient. It's common to see people discussing Bitcoin during a bull run, but it's important to remember that the market can be unpredictable. Although it may be difficult to answer, it's worth asking where you were when Bitcoin was priced around $16K. Comparing the current price to the last all-time high suggests that there's still a good opportunity to invest. It's important to stay calm if there's a sudden drop in price and hold onto your investment until the price recovers. In conclusion, investing in Bitcoin requires patience, but it can be a good opportunity for those willing to take the risk.
1204  Other / Meta / Re: New CAPTCHA now required before posting on: April 01, 2023, 02:31:49 PM
I wish this isn't an April Fools' prank. I wasn't aware of the date when I made my first post today, so it came as a surprise when I encountered a captcha asking me to collect two coins. I failed to complete it and posted without the captcha. Afterwards, I noticed a red warning and attempted to edit my post. However, I was prompted to solve a new captcha that required me to collect four coins. It took me 30 minutes, but I managed to complete it successfully.

Unfortunately, for this post, I was required to collect 80 coins, which would take me a year to complete. Consequently, I believe I will receive a spam warning.
1205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / We are about to enter altcoin season, what do you think? on: April 01, 2023, 09:33:45 AM
From the historical chart and  according to recent observations, the onset of Altcoin season appears to coincide with the stabilization of Bitcoin prices. As Bitcoin's volatility decreases, traders are seemingly turning towards accumulating altcoins, indicating that we may be on the cusp of an Altcoin season.

What is your thoughts? Are you agree with the point?
1206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your opinions of future in Crypto with AI technology? on: March 30, 2023, 09:28:01 PM
In all honesty, I tend to steer clear of such projects. Before delving into the application of AI in cryptography, it's worth considering what practical benefits AI could bring to the table. In my opinion, many such projects simply generate hype to attract funding, without any genuine application of AI. While there are many AI-based solutions available for various purposes, I fail to see any significant utility of AI in crypto projects. Moreover, I've observed that some projects that claim to utilize AI often fail to deliver on their promises and ultimately fizzle out. Hence, the AI slogan often turns out to be just a marketing tactic to secure funding
1207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between crypto and cryptocurrency on: March 30, 2023, 09:18:45 PM
As we who frequently uses cryptocurrency, I often refer to it as "crypto" for the sake of brevity. Essentially, "crypto" is just a shortened form of either "cryptocurrency" or "cryptography." Therefore, I believe that there is no significant difference between the two terms, so other ends peoples weren't wrong at all. It simply boils down to our personal preference in expressing ourselves succinctly. Let's not argue over such a trivial matter.
1208  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Exchanging BTC with this community will serve the purpose of mixing? on: March 30, 2023, 09:10:04 PM
If your aim is to sever the connection from your known address, then it will be effective. However, if you seek complete privacy protection, it is unlikely to be achieved through this method. A community mixing service like a centralized exchange. When depositing and withdrawing from a centralized exchange, the transaction history is already severed. However, the exchange retains knowledge of the destination and your identity, as KYC information has already been submitted. And for community mixing you don't need KYC or something similar. Therefore, privacy cannot be fully ensured without utilizing Bitcoin mixers.
1209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk still market booster? on: March 30, 2023, 08:54:56 PM
It's important to note that you shouldn't always expect a surge in price when Elon Musk tweets about a cryptocurrency. While he has undoubtedly had a significant impact on the price of Dogecoin in the past, it seems that his tweets are not always as influential as they once were.

It's possible that many of his followers are already aware of how he has been able to manipulate the market in the past to make a significant profit. Therefore, his tweets may not have the same impact that they used to. There are still many blind followers who are quick to react to his tweets, regardless of their actual impact on the market.
1210  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Participating in Mixer Signature Campaign on: March 29, 2023, 09:31:56 PM
It's essential to follow the owner's instructions for the forum staff. Currently, the forum is owned by Theymos, who operates it as a non-profit organization. Theymos may want to avoid any legal issues with the forum, but he shouldn't control the signature space of users unless mixers are banned. Users shouldn't be restricted from advertising mixers unless there's a forum ban. However, if legal authorities demand a stop to mixer advertisements or seize the forum due to mixer ads, it would be an unrealistic action. This is because the forum isn't directly linked with money laundering and doesn't promote it.
1211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Going to Bitcoin events on: March 29, 2023, 09:15:41 PM
If you're solely a Bitcoin user, attending Bitcoin events can be a great opportunity to connect with like-minded tech enthusiasts and gain new knowledge. However, if you're involved in the Bitcoin business, attending such events can significantly expand your network and lead to potential investment opportunities.

It's important to note that while attending these events can be financially beneficial for those in the industry, it may not provide the same level of financial gain for general crypto users who may not have the means to attend. Nonetheless, attending these events can still provide valuable educational and networking opportunities for all attendees.
1212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Evidence that I actually invested for my baby on: March 29, 2023, 09:07:12 PM
I'm curious why it's necessary to prove every Bitcoin transaction you make. It's your property, so you can do whatever you like with it, and no one can tell you what you should or shouldn't do. However, it's a good idea to consider saving some Bitcoin for your child's future. When they grow up, they'll have a good amount of funds available to them.
1213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What have you got rid of to accumulate Bitcoin on: March 29, 2023, 09:01:08 PM
When it comes to cryptocurrency, it's important to approach it with a logical mindset rather than being driven by emotions. As a highly volatile asset, Bitcoin can be a risky investment, and it's essential to be mindful of how you acquire it.

Personally, I prefer not to risk any of my other assets to buy Bitcoin. Instead, I suggest purchasing it from your savings or earning it through various means. This way, you can safeguard your hard-earned assets while still gaining exposure to the potential upside of Bitcoin.

It's difficult to predict the future of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, and it's always possible that we may need to wait for an extended period to see any significant returns. Additionally, there's no guarantee that our daily income will remain stable or even increase, which is another reason to be cautious when investing in such assets.

By keeping our other assets separate from Bitcoin, we can ensure that we have a backup plan in case of any financial crises. This way, we won't be forced to sell our Bitcoin prematurely and can hold onto it for as long as we need to see a profitable return.
1214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mixing is NOT money laundering, per se on: March 28, 2023, 09:54:28 PM
The act of mixing Bitcoin has never been synonymous with money laundering. However, the centralized authorities with weak enforcement capabilities tend to falsely accuse it of being a form of money laundering. This is primarily because they are unable to regulate or track these transactions. Bitcoin mixers serve as a means to safeguard our privacy. Unfortunately, if someone were to utilize mixers for money laundering, there is very little that can be done about it. It's worth noting that money laundering is prevalent in traditional fiat currencies, yet there seems to be no viable way of putting a stop to it. Similarly, the crackdown on Bitcoin mixers is merely an excuse to hinder the use of Bitcoin.
1215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why I might consider selling my Bitcoin. on: March 28, 2023, 09:32:00 PM
It is difficult to restrict our requirements, which makes it challenging to pinpoint the motive behind selling my Bitcoin. However, I concur with the OP that certain fundamental factors may prompt us to sell our Bitcoin. Typically, I sell my Bitcoin when there are no other alternatives available to meet my needs and when I have earned substantial profits. When I profit from my holdings, I sell them and repurchase them during dips. This allows me to generate additional funds to utilize in my personal life.
1216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Fiat and Banks? Can Bitcoin solve the problem? on: March 28, 2023, 08:27:10 PM
It has become increasingly challenging to trust centralized organizations such as banks or exchanges. The only reliable option to trust when holding Bitcoin is our own non-custodial wallet, where we have complete control. Banks generate a significant amount of revenue from loans, even though the funds are not their own. They use public funds, and when they want to avoid their obligations, they resort to declaring bankruptcy. While Bitcoin addresses several issues, its volatility poses a challenge when it comes to investing all funds in it. Therefore, resolving bankruptcy becomes more difficult in such cases.
1217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Staking advice needed on: March 27, 2023, 09:29:51 PM
Although staking is a popular way to earn rewards in the cryptocurrency market, I have not personally engaged in it. I prefer to store my funds in a non-custodial or hardware wallet, as I am not willing to take any risks with my investments. With the numerous dramas and uncertainties surrounding the crypto market, I prefer to avoid potential pitfalls and safeguard my assets in my own hardware wallet. Staking involves significant risks, including a locked period and market volatility, both of which are unsuitable for my investment strategy. Therefore, I choose to stay away from staking altogether.
1218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Public Perspective towards Bitcoin on: March 27, 2023, 09:05:28 PM
Convincing someone about Bitcoin takes time, and it's not always a positive experience. However, gradually, people's perspectives on Bitcoin are becoming more positive. This can be observed through the expanding usage and community surrounding Bitcoin. The reality is that a significant portion of the population is unaware of Bitcoin, so they do not have a positive or negative view of it. For those who are familiar with Bitcoin, most have a positive outlook, while a small minority may still harbor some fear or uncertainty about it.
1219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is the last chance to exchange stablecoins for Bitcoin on: March 27, 2023, 08:43:48 PM
It's difficult to predict the exact price of Bitcoin due to its highly volatile nature, which makes it susceptible to pump and dump schemes at any time. However, if you're looking to accumulate Bitcoin, now may be a good time to do so. The current trading price is around $27K, but it's uncertain how it will move in the future. When this thread was created, it was a perfect opportunity to buy compared to the current price. Although we can't be certain if the price will drop to 20K, or when it may happen, taking advantage of the volatility would be a wise decision
1220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Never, ever, buy your hardware wallet from a third-party on: March 27, 2023, 08:35:11 PM
It is highly dangerous to purchase a hardware wallet from an unofficial source. It is important to use the official website for each hardware wallet. When opening the hardware wallet, it is crucial to check for a pre-generated seed. Additionally, Ledger Live can verify whether the hardware device is genuine or fake. To avoid any issues, it is essential to rely solely on official sources. Personally, I purchased my hardware wallet from the Amazon Ledger official store, and everything went smoothly. The device was successfully verified with Ledger Live. Despite the fact that the device was new, I reset it before generating the seed. To protect yourself from hacking, follow these steps.
