I believe this event is long over but the bet status is not showing settled, http://directbet.eu/BetStatus.cshtml?BetID=13cpsLXMEbRusRwp4uX145V1zT25JG9wV3

Hi twister,

Thanks for betting at DirectBet.

Your bet has been settled yesterday but unfortunately it did not win.

All bets on this match have been settled yesterday but your Bet Status page did not show the result due to the short outage that we had at that time. It has now been updated to display the result.

Yeah I knew I had lost it but it could have created a problem if I had won it. And I don't know if the problem is on my side or not but the site's loading a bit too slow for me today. Never mind about this, the problem was indeed on my side, it's fixed now. Thx Smiley

Tell us more, where you're from, what is your preferred payment method, than we'll be able to provide you better options on how to go about buying bitcoins and although a little off-topic but I wouldn't suggest you to use blockchain info with big amount of bitcoins, it is not considered safe to use a web wallet for your funds. Try Electrum or another desktop wallet for security of your funds.
1203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: I'm willing to offer my signature space.... on: June 29, 2015, 09:14:58 AM
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0

This is the thread where all the signature campaigns get listed, just choose the one based on how much you're willing to post and apply there.

Unless you're auctioning for special rates, then you should wait until someone approaches and makes an offer.

Normal price differs from fixed rate campaign to pay/post ones.
1204  Economy / Gambling / Re: Differences between those gambling websites ? on: June 29, 2015, 09:08:13 AM
another thing that comes to mind is the bots

It is autobet much likely because when we said "bot" it is much more referring to a third party bot. Some sites dont even have their own autobet such as JustDice and some sites dedicated their work into refining their autobet with lots of feature like Betterbets

the third party bots that you can use on the site.

Third party bots has nothing to do with the difference between all these gambling sites because as long as the site release their API then anyone could run a bot there by either make your own or use an existing one. Seuntjie's bot cover up most sites around here so most sites / players use seuntjie's bot as their third party bot

Some casinos now even have funds in escrow to cover user deposits.

Huh? which casino are you talking about? never saw one

That's right, most site have their own autobet (bot) feature but some don't but you can't differentiate dice sites on the basis of that some sites have 3rd party bots and some don't and it doesn't makes any sense.

Would also like to know this which sites are using escrow to cover user's deposits.
1205  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoins sent destination on: June 29, 2015, 09:00:38 AM
well if its an investment website that they are funding it to. I would like to invest. Also, whats wrong with watching BTC transactions?

This is no way of searching for investment website, it could be a bitcoin mixer address or a big exchange, you wouldn't be able to find out the website or the owner of that address from just knowing that they transferred big amount of funds.

1206  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: can someone tell what is the best website to do bets on sports on: June 29, 2015, 08:54:50 AM
I would say Directbet but do read their game rules before you bet, that is what I learned recently because the earlier sportsbook (fiat)I used had different set of rules but that doesn't mean they're using their own rules, they're using the rules which are followed by most online sportsbooks.

And they're great, simple on chain betting, no need to make an account and super fast payments. Had no problems with them what so ever.
1207  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Bitcoin - Sending Fee on: June 29, 2015, 08:46:24 AM
Wouldn't it be great if there was an app which would tell you much fee is required for a transaction, like you enter the address you'll be sending from and the amount and it would calculate the fee and tell you the result.

I normally enter 0.0001 or 0.0002 for larger transactions and it works out fine.
1208  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Reputable/Trustworthy Mixers on: June 29, 2015, 08:42:14 AM
Exchange your bitcoins for darkcoin with ShapeShift.io then exchange darkcoin for bitcoin again, your bitcoin blockchain trace is lost.
But shapshift.io charges quite a hefty fee, no?  At least that's what I heard.  I've used bitmixer.io multiple times without a problem, simply for testing purposes. Smiley

Seems fair:

What’s your fee structure?

We don't have a set markup, as our rate next to adjust for depth and spread considerations on particular pairs and markets. This means the amount that ShapeShift makes on any particular transaction varies based on the current market conditions. Depends on the liquidity and spread of that particular market ShapeShift's fee usually falls in the range of about 0.5-1% or so.

https://shapeshift.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/202585602-What-s-your-fee-structure-

That's right, the fee is not too much and it is the best way of mixing the coins apart from using bitmixer.io which so far seems to be the reliable bit mixer out there.
1209  Economy / Economics / Re: Lets "accidentally" show the bitcoin logo on live TV on: June 29, 2015, 08:35:51 AM
I think it's great, for the people who follow this news channel and this program, they would get curious as to what was this logo behind this guy, maybe they'll ask their friends or search online and some of them might get to learn that it's a Bitcoin Logo and they'll try to find out more of it.

If this is a bug, send me the bounty lol

Also, I agree with this:

Can u guys add Field Hockey and Badminton? Field hockey world cup is going on.. n Lots of badminton tournaments here n there.. Please add Asian handicap for baseball games.. I generally see just Winners or over/under..thats it.

There's WHL going on and it would be great if we could get to bet on that.
1211  Economy / Services / Re: 2xCrypto.BIZ signature campaign - paying 0.3 a month! on: June 29, 2015, 08:18:04 AM
i suggest you to use escrow or you wouldn't get any participants (except negative trusted users i guess) but i doubt there is trusted user willing to be a part of your ponzi campaign

Then you would be wrong, recently a staff member participated in a ponzi signature campaign, anyways he obviously does not want to use escrow because his plan is simple, wait 1 month for free advertisement and then run away with the money he got from people who ''invested''

Which staff member was that? I don't think he's going to succeed in his plan because without an escrow now one would join this campaign.
1212  Economy / Gambling / Re: What bitcoin client is your gambling site using? on: June 28, 2015, 07:31:34 PM
Looks like i'm the first

1. Yes
2. -
3. Electrum
4. More than 1 year
what gambling site do you own? iwould be curious to see it as you dont advertise it, also i am really curious for other replies right now

I think he is misunderstanding the thread, as I know he do not own a gambling site.
Perhaps its better for OP to change the title or add "gambling site owner, please reply" Smiley

No, let's keep the title as it is and see how many people take the time to read before replying. And let's wait for him to reply, maybe he owns a site we don't know of.
1213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Discussion about Wimbledon 2015 on: June 28, 2015, 07:27:51 PM
I don't think I'll be betting on Wimbledon winner, I'll only play individual matches and that too after the rounds have been cleared. Djokovic is everyone's favorite and he'll most probably win it but it could be a new guy too. But let's leave the Men for a minute and talk about Women's singles. I think Serena although being the fav will not win it this time and neither will Kvitova, I am quite positive we'll be having a new women's singles winner this time, the only question is who would it be?
1214  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Blockchain signing message on: June 28, 2015, 07:15:18 PM
I use blockchain.

I even tried to create a new blockchain and test it there, I made a signature, used brainwallet to verify it and it was not able to verify.

I made sure there were no extra symbols or spaces but it still says invalid :/

blockchain is the vessel behind for example bitcoin.

you are probably talking about blockchain.info the website?

ofcourse he is talking about blockchain.info/wallet, I am sure he's not asking how to sign a message with bitcoin blockchain.

OP can you post a signed message here, Just make sure to add the today's date to it and a line for "testing purpose only", and we'll see if it verifies or not.

G968RCXVc6+el3NfqbJE5uW+WpBsFrTUsw3JXNI6//KCecJmVKmYXh89jPEjw2AV0DokmWmeJNAGXFxPxIMkMfk=

You need to provide the 'message' and the 'bitcoin address' with it for verification and I think the reason you couldn't get it verified is because brain wallet seem to be having some problem.

1215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin was accepted everywhere would you use it? on: June 28, 2015, 07:10:09 PM
I would prefer to use it everywhere, but then it would require either more secure mobile wallets or something like bitsim because I don't think I would want to carry my laptop with me everywhere I go shopping.

1217  Economy / Gambling / Re: Who tried betexpert.me? on: June 28, 2015, 06:27:53 PM
They offer a betting system tips that guarantee you profit from sport bets.
I was curious about it, until i saw the price- 1000$ for a month!!!
Anyone tried it? any recommendations?

Use your common sense man if they were really this good they wouldn't need to sell their tips. They could bet their own money and make thousands of dollars, as what they're promising others. Don't send anything to them.
1218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The real bitcoin on: June 28, 2015, 06:24:09 PM
We will wait and see what other core developers think of Gavin's proposal. But we will certainly not switch to the altcoin called 'Bitcoin' XT. It could set a very bad precedent if we do that. No matter who you are, you cannot make a new coin and declare it is 'Bitcoin' simply because you do not agree with other core developers.

altcoin called Bitcoin XT?  Not exactly.  You see, the real bitcoin had no block size limit.  Then, the an altcoin came with a 1MB limit.  Therefore, what we have now is actually the altcoin.  The real bitcoin, Satoshi's bitcoin has no limit.  Therefore, Gavin's plan to gradually return closer to no limits - is not an altcoin as Fool2Pool suggests, it is actually a return to the real bitcoin.

Stop calling bitcoinXT an altcoin.  If we have an altcoin, it is this current piece of shit with a 1MB limit.

Now we have all these core developers trying to find a way to make their 'lightning network' useful.  They want to limit bitcoin blocksize to cause their Lightning network to become profitable.  A clear conflict of interest.  Forget side chains.  Side chains is a totally different project.  Those guys who want to do side chains are calling bitcoin XT an altcoin.  This is bullshit.  The real bitcoin is the bitcoin Gavin is trying to get back to without blocksize limits.

This is something I don't hear everyday so it had no limit from the start and then it was changed and it's supposedly causing all the problems and now we're trying to go back to it again? Why was it changed btw?
1219  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: June 28, 2015, 06:20:05 PM
I like the low fee and the fact that I can send $10  or $1000 with the same fee from right here to any part of the world.
